Chapter 49 Last One?

Chapter 49 Last One?
Bree’s POV:

“Be patient Brooklyn,” he mumbled with a throaty voice that made my insides tingle, going down on his knees, his eyes fixed on mine.

His left hand squeezed my boobs lightly. His fingers curled around my left nipple, sending a tingling sensation through my body.

I swallowed hard, my breath got caught in my throat as one of his hands found my thighs, going upwards into his shirt I was wearing.

“Barth…”

I inhaled sharply, goosebumps and a sudden chill went down my spine.

His fingers reached in between my thighs and he skilfully took off my pants, sliding it down my legs. He sniffed in, his eyes rolling backwards.

“Mine,” he groaned.

My juice was already dripping on the counter. I could feel it sliding down with my arousal.

Barth was making me go crazy with the wait.

Without wasting another second, his head went down and the first thing I felt was a sweet, cooling sensation of his tender tongue in my folds.

My hands instantly flew to his hair, pulling him in closer.

“Oh Barth!” I moaned, throwing my head backwards with each thrust of his tongue.

He inserted a finger and curved it in, simultaneously moving both the tongue and the finger.

I could feel my legs go weak, toes curling with each round of pleasure. My hand made a fist with his hair as I screamed his name out, an intense orgasm spilling out of me.

Barth didn’t hesitate to lick up every drop, not wasting any. He looked up at me with those grey eyes that made me go wet once more. His lips were wet with my juice which he swiped with his tongue.

“Just as juicy and sweet as I remembered,” he smiled. “Want more?”

Before I could respond, the door bell rang. I immediately jumped down from the counter much to his dismay.

“Are you expecting anyone?” I asked, dragging down the T-shirt with a flustered face.

He shook his head negatively, picking up my panty from the floor and stuffed it into his pocket.

“I’ll be keeping this,” he said with a wink and at that point, I became increasingly aware of my nakedness and my face went purple.

Without waiting for my response, he walked towards the door. I stayed back to clear the table and the mess we had created.

Suddenly a loud crash diverted my attention. My brows furrowed as I approached cautiously.

“Barth?”

My steps halted instantly, the air suddenly felt heavy to breathe in.

Right in front of me Tan was on top of Barth kissing him passionately. My hands flew instantly to my mouth to muffle the gasp from my lips.

My chest tightened, my vision getting cloudy by the second. As if sensing my presence, Barth pushed her away and turned around.

“Yvonne,” he muttered, wide eyed trying to reach out for me but I took a step back, glancing at Tan who had a smug smile on as she stared at me.

“What are you doing here, Yvonne?” She asked with a raised brow, scanning me down from head to toe. “And in my boyfriend’s shirt?”

I couldn’t speak. The memory of them kissing was deeply etched in my mind, his lips were just on my… never mind. I shook my head and let out a stiff smile.

Avoiding their eyes, I said, “I was just leaving.”

“No, you are not,” Barth said almost immediately.

Our eyes met and I couldn’t help but feel disgusted by myself. They haven’t even broken up yet and I gave up myself to him. Again.

“Why wouldn’t she?” Tan asked, glancing between us with a frown. “What’s going on here? And why is she wearing your shirt?!”

Barth turned towards her abruptly, his eyes cold and distant. “Leave.”

Tan chuckled in disbelief.

Deep down I was wondering why she was acting so calmly, the Tan I knew would drag my hair by the roots and throw me out.

Was she up to something?

“You can’t seriously be speaking to me. She is the one who has to leave. Dressed in your T-shirt like a harlot!” She snapped at me harshly.

Barth gripped her hands tightly. “How many times would I have to tell you that it’s over between us, Tan?! How many?!!!”

His voice echoed in the house, shocking us both. Tan was visibly shaken, her eyes filled with fear as she squirmed under his hold.

“Let go of me, Barth Vanguard!”

Barth didn’t listen, adding more pressure to his grip.

I couldn’t stand it.

“Barth, let her go.”

Barth blinked, the tension in his jaw releasing by the second as well as his grip on Tan’s arms.

She scooted back, glaring at us both.

“You will regret this!”

With the slam of the door, I knew she wasn’t bluffing.

An awkward silence fell between us both. Barth was avoiding my eyes, his gaze fixed firmly to the floor.

“I guess I will be leaving then.”

“Don’t go, Bree,” he said, finally looking up, his eyes pleading.

My lips parted slightly to refute but he stopped me.

“I swear Bree, I didn’t know she would kiss me. I didn’t kiss her back. Please don’t go.”

His pleading tugged at my heart a little but my mind was made up. Even if I stayed, there was no future for us both.

“Barth, we both know this isn’t right. Between us both, we know we are only doing this just to keep our mind off the current situation.”

His brows furrowed and I could see pain flash across his eyes before he masked it with a sad smile.

“Is that what you think this is about? A way to distract yourself?”

‘Yourself.’

He didn’t make it about us the way I did.

Swallowing hard, I nodded.

“I have dance lessons today. I don’t want to be late.”

Without waiting for his response, I headed upstairs. Took off his T-shirts and wore back my clothes before going back downstairs.

“Called a cab for you.”

He said, still standing where I left him.

“Thanks.”

For now, this might be the last time we would see each other but deep down, I couldn’t chase away the deep dread growing inside of me.

What’s going on?
