Heat of Temptation

Rowan’s hands were like fire, burning through the fabric between us, desperate to feel more, to claim more. His lips, hot and insistent, moved from my thigh up to my stomach, each kiss leaving a searing trail of heat that made me shudder. Every time his mouth touched me, it felt like he was marking me, branding me with a possessive hunger that sent a wave of desire crashing through me.

“Rowan...” My voice was breathless, barely a whisper, but it was all I could manage as his hands slid to my waist, lifting me effortlessly. I found myself straddling him in an instant, his body hard and heated beneath me, the friction between us enough to make me tremble. His mouth found mine again, fierce and demanding, as though he couldn’t get enough.

The kiss was primal, urgent. His tongue thrust into my mouth, the taste of him flooding my senses. I could feel his heartbeat against my chest, rapid and erratic, matching the frantic rhythm of his hands that roamed across my back, gripping my skin like he was afraid I would disappear.

I pulled back slightly, gasping for air, but before I could catch my breath, he was there again, his lips trailing down my neck, down to my collarbone. His teeth scraped against my skin, a sharp sting of sensation that made my body arch into him. He wasn’t slowing down, not even for a second. Every touch, every kiss was full of urgency, as though the very moment was slipping away and he needed to take all of me, now.

“You’re mine,” he growled against my skin, his breath hot, his voice rough and possessive.

“Only mine.”

I moaned in response, my hands gripping his shoulders, my nails digging into his skin as his lips moved lower. His hands slid under my shirt, his fingers brushing over my ribs, sending sparks of electricity through me. His touch was possessive, as though he was trying to imprint himself on me, to make sure I knew exactly who I belonged to.

“Rowan,” I gasped again, my voice trembling as he kissed the soft skin of my chest, his lips moving with urgency, leaving a trail of marks in their wake.

My body was on fire, every inch of me aching with the need for him. The intensity of his touch left me dizzy, my breath coming in uneven gasps as I pressed against him, my body completely surrendering to his.

“You feel so good, Anna,” he whispered, his voice thick with desire.

His hands moved faster now, his fingers digging into my hips as his mouth moved lower, brushing against the sensitive skin of my stomach. The heat between us was almost unbearable, but I wanted more. I wanted him to take me, to claim me completely.

His lips moved to my breasts, the kisses more frantic now, as though he couldn’t get close enough, couldn’t touch me enough. His tongue traced over the curve of my chest, and I moaned softly, my back arching as my hands tangled in his hair, pulling him closer.

“Rowan, please,” I breathed, my voice thick with longing.

“Don’t stop.”

But Rowan couldn’t seem to slow down, couldn’t stop himself from moving, from devouring me in every possible way. His hands were everywhere now, on my back, my hips, my thighs—each touch more urgent than the last, each kiss more demanding.

He pulled me closer, if that was even possible, his lips crashing against mine once again, his kiss so intense that I felt it all the way to my bones. The fire between us was all-consuming, and I knew there was no turning back.

“You’re mine,” he repeated, his voice fierce and unrelenting.

“I can’t hold back anymore, Anna. I won’t. You belong to me. All of you.”

His words sent a shiver through me, a thrill that ran deep, far deeper than I could ever have anticipated. There was no hesitation now, no room for doubt. His hands were everywhere, caressing, gripping, pulling me closer with a force that made my pulse race. Every touch, every kiss, every movement was an expression of something wild, something untamable.

I could feel his need in every movement, every press of his lips, every stroke of his hands. My own body responded instinctively, my hands tracing his muscles, feeling the tension in his shoulders, the strength in his arms, the heat that radiated off him like a furnace.

“Please,” I whispered, my voice breaking with the intensity of it all.

“Take me, Rowan.”

His golden eyes met mine then, and I saw something flicker there—something wild, something that made my heart race even faster. His hands gripped my hips, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he moved me against him, each thrust of his hips matching the desperation in his touch.

“You’re mine,” he repeated once more, the words now a promise, a declaration that left me breathless, overwhelmed by the intensity of it all.

“Forever.”

His lips found mine again, and the world seemed to disappear. There was only Rowan—his hands, his lips, his body moving with an intensity that consumed me. I was lost in him, in his touch, in his kiss, in everything that he was.

And in that moment, I realized that I wasn’t just lost in him. I wanted to be found in him, to be completely his, to give him everything.

My body responded with a fevered urgency, matching his movements, matching the wild need that seemed to pulse between us.

The intensity of his love, of his passion, was overwhelming. But amidst the chaos, there was something undeniable—something in the way he held me, the way he kissed me, that told me I was safe, even in the storm.

And so, I surrendered. To him. To this moment. To whatever this was that had taken over us both.

Because, in the end, there was no doubt in my mind. Rowan was mine, and I was his.

Then, just as his lips moved from my chest to my stomach, I winced at the intensity of his touch—his firm grasp, his quick, needy movements. The pleasure was overwhelming, but it left traces of pain that pulsed through my body.

“Ouch, Rowan…” I gasped, unable to hide the slight sting from his forceful touch.

He immediately stilled, his breath heavy as he pulled back slightly, his hands resting on my sides, his gaze softening, though there was still a raw edge to it.

“I’m sorry,” he breathed, his voice full of concern, though the intensity in his eyes never wavered.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you, Anna. I just... I can’t hold back. I need you so much.”

But even as he spoke, his hands gripped me again, his fingers tightening as he pulled me closer, as though he couldn’t resist, as though his desire for me was something he couldn’t control.

“I won’t stop,” he growled, his voice rough, the intensity growing in his movements once again.

“I can’t. You’re mine, Anna. You belong to me. Every part of you.”

And so, despite the brief pause, the moment of tenderness, his urgency returned. He was relentless, as though the very thought of slowing down was beyond him. The pain I’d felt now mingled with the pleasure, and it was impossible to tell where one began and the other ended.
