Let It Go!

Kenneth's face was red with dark eyes. The man looked very angry when Sheina was in his library holding a book about wolves. Kenneth felt threatened, fear and a strange feeling that Kenneth couldn't describe mixed into an expression of annoyance that was issued to Sheina.

"I was just reading a book while waiting for you to come home, sir."

"Didn't I tell you not to touch my things without my permission?!" Kenneth snapped at Sheina hard enough to make Sheina feel surprised. That man was especially sensitive tonight after being 'judged' by the Moon Goddess. Apart from that, his argument with Erick also disturbed his mood.

"I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to be presumptuous."

"I'm sick of hearing all your apologies, Sheina." Kenneth was still furious. "You always ignore what I say. You always make trouble that troubles me. I've given you a lot of money with various other facilities but you never feel enough. Just because I'm being friendly to you, you dare to disobey me. Never forget your position in this house , Sheina! You're just a slave! I'm paying you to obey my orders, not to disobey me!"

Sheina gasped. The woman was hurt by Kenneth's statement even though she realized what the man said was very true. She also didn't understand why she was so sad when Kenneth scolded her like that. Especially when Kenneth emphasized his position in the house.

"Go back to your room and never touch my things again!" Kenneth turned his face away from Sheina which Sheina responded as Kenneth's expression of embarrassment at Sheina's behavior. "I will kill you if you break my rules again."

Sheina nodded her head while holding back her tears. "Yes, I understand, sir." But Sheina couldn't hide her trembling voice. The woman was very scared. She immediately left Kenneth's presence not wanting to make the man rage more at her.

Kenneth clenched his fist hitting the wall channeling all his anger. Slowly his form turned into a wolf again. Kenneth let out a long howl. The words of the moon goddess and Erick were ringing in his head. He suddenly hated his fate of being born as a werewolf. Kenneth went berserk in his mini library, he knocked over all the shelves and smashed some of the ornaments. He even broke a mirror which was used to give wide effect to the room so that Kenneth couldn't see his reflection in the mirror.

An hour later, Kenneth had his mood under control. He returned to his human form and he lay down on the couch. He stared blankly at the attic, then he thought of Sheina.

Someday, Sheina will find out that Kenneth is a werewolf. If that happened, Sheina would be even more scared, maybe even Sheina would really hate Kenneth. And what turned out to be the scariest thing for Kenneth was imagining himself being hated by Sheina.

After contemplating for almost an hour, then Kenneth stood up and he opened the door to Sheina's room. "Sheina, are you asleep yet?" Kenneth returned to calling Sheina kindly even though he had not been able to control his mood well.

Sheina, who was still frightened by Kenneth's anger, didn't want to make another mistake. She immediately woke up and looked at Kenneth. "I am at your service tonight, sir."

Kenneth put back Sheina's loose clothes making the woman surprised. It was the first time Kenneth had turned her down. "I want to talk with you."

Kenneth looked at Sheina seriously. "Are you bothered by the way I have treated you? I ask you to answer honestly."

Sheina bit her lip while twisting her hands, considering what words she should say to Kenneth. "Sometimes I admit I am uncomfortable and even tend to be depressed by your attitude."

Kenneth didn't react to anything. He listened to Sheina's explanation without having the will to refute. Sheina realized that Kenneth was waiting for Sheina's next explanation. The man wanted to hear all of Sheina's explanations. Sheina licked her lips while gathering her courage.

"You often make honey confused. Sometimes you are so kind to me, so caring and very protective, that it touches my heart. But sometimes you look so vicious, rude and like to snap. You make me your sex slave. It's like I don't have self-esteem again with that role. Especially when you said it directly like before." Sheina wiped her tears.

A few minutes later, she said again, “But I also realized that it was I who offered to ask you for help when I was in debt. I know you just want to finish what we agreed on. I have no right to protest or complain." Sheina hoped Kenneth would not misunderstand her anxiety. "I will try harder to get used to it while remembering my role in this house."

"You don't have to do it anymore. I'll set you free."

Sheina was surprised by Kenneth's statement. She stared at the man to find out what Kenneth was thinking. The man looked determined as if Kenneth had thought about this before he decided to let Sheina go. "I'll ask Oscar to give you a new apartment. I'll also give you an unlimited card that you can use to buy anything later. You don't need to think about our deal anymore. I assume you've paid off your debt. You are free to make your life choices without bound to me. You are also free to use my card for your life and your treatment. Please live your happy life, Sheina."

After that Kenneth came out of Sheina's room. Sheina was still frozen, not knowing how to react to Kenneth's statement. What happened to Kenneth? Does that mean Kenneth already hates Sheina so much that he doesn't need Sheina there anymore? Or, could Kenneth be interested in another woman?

But, why did Sheina feel so sad? Shouldn't she be happy to be separated from Kenneth? Wasn't that what Sheina wanted all along? Sheina didn't understand, one thing was certain, the woman was not happy with Kenneth's decision. As if Sheina was not willing to part with that man.
