Chapter 23 Kayla Nils 1

Chapter 23 Kayla Nils 1
"Hi, Walker." Nodione waved her hand toward him.
"Nodione? Finally to see you."
"I saw you in 59518582450819225th, I think you were lost because They sent the menaces to kill your wife, Raghild," Nodione said.
"I see. I was fighting hard, that's like hard mode." Walker said. "But I won't let them hurt my wife."
"do you want to know story ends of you and Raghild?" Nodione ask.
"yes, please tell me," Walker said.
Nodione's expression softened as she took a step closer to Walker. "Then listen carefully, Walker. Your battle for Raghild’s safety was more than just a fight—it was a testament to your love."

Walker clenched his fists, determination flickering in his eyes. "Tell me everything. I need to know how it all ends."

Nodione nodded. "After you fought off the menaces, Raghild waited for you at the ancient temple of Lumeris. She believed in your return, despite the world telling her otherwise. When she saw your silhouette against the setting sun, her heart raced. She ran to you, throwing herself into your arms. 'I knew you would come back to me,' she whispered."

Walker could almost hear her voice in his mind, filled with love and relief. "And then?"

"You held her, pressing your forehead against hers. 'I will always come back to you, Raghild,' you promised. And under the twilight sky, you kissed her, sealing your love in the presence of the gods themselves."

A warm sensation spread through Walker’s chest. "That sounds beautiful. But what happened after?"

Nodione smiled. "You both ruled together, side by side. Raghild’s strength complemented yours, and together, you built an era of peace. Every morning, she woke up beside you, her eyes filled with devotion. And every night, you held her close, whispering how much you loved her."

Walker exhaled, feeling the weight of her words settle over him. "That’s the future I want… the one I’ll always fight for."

Nodione chuckled. "Then keep fighting, Walker. Destiny may test you, but love is the greatest weapon you possess."

Walker met her gaze with a determined smile. "No matter what universe I’m in, I’ll always find my way back to my wife."
"Good," Nodione replied. "Because she wants you to be happy."
Walker looked around, taking in the sight of the people who surrounded them.
"can you tell me about Veylana and SelphIna?"
"Finally you want to know about her, they are the High Guardians and living in higher universe like a gods in The Secode. I can't connect them but they can."
"Why I can marry them?"
"that's a story from 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 years ago, "
Walker’s eyes widened as Nodione spoke. “A story from a quintillion years ago?” he repeated, intrigued.

Nodione nodded. “Yes. Veylana and SelphIna are not just ordinary beings. They are among the High Guardians, existing beyond the reach of mortal realms. The fact that you are fated to marry them is not a coincidence—it is a destiny that was woven into the very fabric of existence.”

Walker’s heart pounded. “Then… why do I not remember them?”

Nodione’s expression softened. “Because your soul was separated from theirs long ago. In the higher universes, love and bonds are not only emotional but cosmic. You were once one with them, but something happened—a great event that caused you to be reborn across many different worlds. They have been waiting, watching, searching for you.”

Walker clenched his fists, feeling a strange warmth in his heart. The idea that there were women, goddesses, waiting for him beyond time and space filled him with a longing he couldn’t explain. “And now… they remember me?”

Nodione smiled. “Yes. The moment you married your first wife in this cycle, the threads of fate began reconnecting. Veylana and SelphIna have sensed your return. They are waiting for you in The Secode, the Higher Universe where the High Guardians reside.”

Walker took a deep breath. “Then… how do I reach them?”

Nodione tilted her head, her golden eyes shimmering. “You must ascend. But before you can, you need to regain the power you once had. There are trials ahead, Walker. Your love, your strength, and your will shall be tested.”

Walker smirked. “No matter how many universes I have to cross, no matter how many trials I have to face, I will find them.”
"you are so brave," Nodione said. "Such a warrior is worthy of their love."
The woman's words echoed through Walker's mind, filling him with hope. He felt like he could conquer anything.
"Do you know where my wife is?" Walker asked.
Nodione smiled. "at 98122868394578745th. universe."
"Nodione, why do you help me? I guess you are my wife too."
Nodione blushed and doesn't say anything." you should hurry, your wife is dangerous."
"Nodione!."
Walker noticed the way Nodione’s cheeks turned a soft shade of pink, her golden eyes avoiding his gaze. The silence between them lingered for a moment, charged with unspoken emotions.

“Nodione…” He stepped closer, reaching out to her. “Are you my wife in another universe?”

She bit her lip, hesitating, then nodded slowly. “Yes,” she admitted in a whisper. “In countless timelines, our fates have intertwined, but not in this one… not yet.”

Walker felt his chest tighten at her words. His heart, already burdened with love for so many, ached at the thought of a love that had yet to be realized. He cupped her face gently, his thumb tracing the soft curve of her cheek. “Then why do you hold back?”

Nodione closed her eyes for a moment, then looked at him with longing. “Because this is not my time with you, Walker. Your journey is not yet complete. If you choose me now, you may never reach her… Veylana, SelphIna, and the wife waiting for you in the 98122868394578745th universe. They need you.”

Walker exhaled, feeling the weight of his destiny pressing down on him. He wanted to hold her, to make her his just as he had with his other wives, but he knew she was right. His mission wasn’t over.

He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. “I will find you in another life, Nodione,” he murmured.

A single tear slid down her cheek, but she smiled. “Go, my love. Save her.”

Walker turned, his resolve stronger than ever. He had a wife in danger, and he would not let anything stand in his way.

As he activated the portal to the 98122868394578745th universe, he cast one last glance at Nodione, who watched him with a bittersweet smile. Then, in a flash of light, he was gone.

But deep inside his heart, he knew—someday, somehow—he would return to her.

Walker emerged from the swirling vortex of light, his boots landing softly on the ground of a strange new world—the 98122868394578745th universe. He took a deep breath, the air filled with the scent of blooming flowers and the distant hum of unseen energy. This place felt… different.

The sky above was a mesmerizing shade of violet, with twin suns casting a golden glow over the landscape. Towering crystal spires stretched into the heavens, reflecting light like prisms. A river of liquid silver flowed nearby, shimmering as if infused with magic.

Walker scanned his surroundings, his warrior instincts sharpening. He didn’t know what dangers awaited him here, but he knew one thing—his wife was somewhere in this world.

Then, he heard it.

A scream.

His body moved before his mind could process it, dashing toward the sound. His boots barely touched the ground as he weaved through the unfamiliar terrain, his heart pounding.

As he reached the edge of a crystalline forest, he saw her.

A woman stood surrounded by cloaked figures, her golden hair flowing like a river of sunlight. Her emerald eyes burned with defiance as she held a gleaming sword, her stance unwavering. She was a warrior—like him.

Walker didn’t hesitate. He lunged forward, his blade appearing in his grasp. “Get away from her!” he roared.

The cloaked figures turned, their eyes glowing red beneath their hoods. One of them lunged at him, but Walker moved like lightning, cutting through the air with deadly precision. His sword met flesh, and the enemy fell.

The woman’s gaze locked onto him, shock flashing across her features. “Who are you?” she demanded, parrying an attack.

He grinned, slicing through another enemy. “Your husband.”

She blinked, momentarily stunned, before laughing. “Husband? I don’t remember getting married!”

Walker smirked. “Then let’s fix that after we finish this fight.”

With a determined nod, the woman fought by his side. They moved in perfect sync as if they had known each other for lifetimes. Blades clashed, sparks flew, and one by one, their enemies fell until none remained.

When the battle was over, she turned to him, breathing heavily. “Alright, stranger. You saved me, so I’ll entertain this wild claim. Who are you?”

He sheathed his sword and stepped closer, his gaze never leaving hers. “I’m Walker. And in another life, in another time, we are destined to be together.”

She studied him, searching his eyes for deception but finding only the truth. Her lips curled into a smirk. “Well, Walker… my name is Karla. It seems fate has brought us both here. Perhaps we should get to know each other better.”
“Sounds good to me.”
Karla nodded, then glanced around, taking in their surroundings. The crystal spires appeared to shift and move, making them appear almost alive. They were beautiful, but she sensed something far more dangerous lurking underneath.
As the twin suns set behind them, casting a golden glow over the world, Walker knew—his journey was far from over, but his heart had already found its next great love.
