BAB 30

When the chopper that Saint was riding left, I immediately wiped the tears from my eyes and went back inside Saint's mansion. When I got downstairs, I saw Ate Mary seriously staring blankly in the living room. I silently approached him and sat next to him.

He looked at me and I could see the worry on his face. She is also worried for Saint, I know that no matter which side you look at, Saint's life is really in danger.

"Sat. I'm worried for Saint. I know he is capable of what he's doing but...he has so many opponents.." Ate Mary said gently.

"You are like a family to me, but I can't lose Saint, Sabrina. He is all I have left." She said while continuing to cry. I couldn't answer, I didn't know what to answer.

A big part of her words are telling the truth, but it's not right that she blames me for what Saint did. I didn't force him to go in that battle. I even suggested coming with him, but he did not agree. That's his choice. Not mine.

"Trust me, Sister Mary, Saint will be safe. He told me he would come back, and Saint never broke any promises that he ever made to me. Not even once." I said. Sister Mary smiled at me and nodded.

Sister Mary stood up and said goodbye and went inside her room. I stayed in the living room and took a deep breath. I didn't realize that I was already sleepy and I decided to go to the living room to sleep.

The next day I woke up in my room already lying down. my room? I looked around and saw Savienna just staring at me.

"Savienna? Why are you here?" I asked him.

"Sab, please don't go outside. Just pretend you're still asleep." I immediately frowned at what Savienna said.

"Ha, why?"

"Just don't please." I felt a little nervousness in my chest. Why doesn't he want to let me out? I stepped closer to the door and Savienna immediately stopped me.

"What! Why are you doing this?!" I couldn't stand it anymore and raised my voice. He took a deep breath and looked at me.

When he lost his balance, I immediately ran outside and heard some voices from below.

"I swear Sudalga Miss Lacsamana is not here, as far as I know, Hellion has taken her somewhere." I heard Pierce. Gambling? is he here Why?

I didn't realize that I was already downstairs and I could see Pierce and an old man talking in the living room. They looked at my behavior and I saw Pierce's eyes widen.

"Where is Saint?" I asked her openly. No one answered them so tears immediately filled the corner of my eyes.

"Pierce? Where's Saint? Is he on his way home?" I asked him while tears were flowing from my eyes. Pierce took a deep breath and looked at Sudalga and whispered something to him. The old man nodded and looked at me.

Pierce walked closer to me. "I'm sorry Sabrina... My knees immediately went weak. No...No...It can't be.

"Hellion couldn't handle the number of enemies last night, they are armored and they have guns. I want to help him, I badly want to help him but he said he can do it. For you." My chest tightened at what Pierce said, I just sobbed at what Pierce said.

"He didn't think they were carrying weapons. But Hellion was still strong and he fought, he got shot. Ten times." I was depressed from what I heard, was it a dream? Let me wake up, please. Please... wake me up... Saint is strong he can't be gone.

"His body cannot take the damage, so he collapsed. He was treated by the doctors who were there in the underground. But..." No! NO! Saint, why did you do this? I thought I would teach myself more. You promised me you'll come back! You promised me!

I heard one voice after another on my cellphone so I stared at it and slowly got out of bed. I checked my phone and what I saw surprised me.

Odette: Hey, Danica. I'm sorry, your twin already apologized to us and explained everything. I'm sorry for the harsh words Danica, or should I call you Sabrina? I'm sorry for your loss.

Eren: Hey, Danica. I'm sorry for what happened in the past, I understand now. I hope you can forgive me, besides, I want to go back to your mansion hehehe.
