Hello, my beautiful escapists who kept up with my shenanigans throughout the ups and downs of this book.
First things first, I love you all.
I feel so lucky to have found this platform and through this all of you.
I hope you weren't bored with my author notes.
Multiple TV shows, novels, and movies came together in my head every night, and I created Iris. Through her I created Dominic and you guys know the rest.
I have two news to share with yall.
The first one is about this book. I am delighted and proud to tell you guys that 'Under the Dragon's Protection' is now available on Amazon Kindle. I have ordered my author's copy of the paperback for this book. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, Amazon is unable to ship to Pakistan to my remote location in the middle of Thal, the second largest desert in my country. So, I have sought the help of an abroad friend to get it for me and then send it to me by post. The whole procedure will take more than a couple of months.
I am hoping it's worth it.
As someone with absolutely zero support from people around me (my husband doesn't even know the title of the book I took two years to write and edit sadly), and I cannot even share my joy or excitement with these people either. All I have is all of you. So I hope that some of you are Book Dragons who like to hoard books and will be interested in having a handheld memoir of this book.
The Paperback version only contains the novel while the Hardcover will have all the bonus and special chapters too.
I am really looking forward to taking another step in my writing career and I hope to have all of you with me <3

As for the second part, I wanted to let you guys know that I have another ongoing book titled 'A Place Unlike Home' which is an intergalactic Hunger Games kind of book. It's the first one in a series titled 'Survival Games Trilogy'.
It begins with an alien abduction of a pampered college student, who finds herself stuck in unknown terrain and left at the mercy of the elements, or so it seems. Until she finds civilization but nothing is what she hoped for or expected.
A lot of work went into planning the multiple characters as I wanted to make them diverse and be more culturally inclusive and expand my writing horizons. Unlike the current book, I created a new world for the new book and the art will be uploaded on my Instagram so don't forget to follow me there to check out all the book-related stuff there @aena.s_ebooks
I tried to avoid cliches as I find that they clash with originality but no one (mostly me) is immune to the weak-to-strong trope or the classic love triangles. What are some of your favorite tropes if science fiction mixes with action, romance, thriller, drama, and even a little bit of horror genres? Since I am writing as I go, I will definitely be taking your comments as suggestions. The outline is set but the inner material can be shaped according to your answers on my Instagram polls too.

I will also be working on a supernatural romance book 'Stuck with Four Alphas' on another platform (You can email me if you want to read that and I will share the link) the name of the platform is available on my Instagram as well. 'The Queen's Handmaiden' is another Royal Romance with Bridgerton vibes but with a handmaiden and a prince. It will also be in the works to be completed and be available on Kindle. So we are looking for a busy few months as I am also working on my classroom research thesis for my M. Phil English Language and Linguistics degree. Pray for me.
As a mom of a four-year-old life gets really busy. But I love to write so I will do my best.

I always say that writers are nothing without their Readers, and I wholeheartedly believe it and cherish you all for being with me on this journey of my first book.
