Chapter 874 Another Incident
Chapter 874 Another Incident
Tiffany looked at her phone, which had just ended the call, and immediately contacted the hospital to arrange a room. Then she slowly walked out.
At the back door of the hospital, she saw the driver parked there. When the car window rolled down and she saw Jace, Tiffany hurried over and got into the passenger seat.
As soon as she got in, she noticed everyone else was already there.
“Everyone's here, let's head out. Alfonso can't stay here for long; he needs to rest at the hospital as soon as possible.”
With that, the car quickly started moving.
The surroundings became quiet at that moment.
Alfonso's gaze fell on Tiffany, his eyes full of gratitude.
“Tiffany.”
He couldn't help but call out.
Hearing him, Tiffany turned around and met his gaze.
Then she heard him say very seriously,
“Tiffany, thank you so much for today. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have known what to do with them.”
“I didn't expect them to go this crazy. I had just entered the hospital, and they already knew and even paid for the information.”
“If the media catches wind of this, it'll have a huge impact.”
He sighed, looking visibly exhausted.
Tiffany chuckled lightly, not caring much about it.
“You're a company employee and a partner of our studio. Helping you has its reasons.”
“Besides, everyone gets stressed out by such things. I don't want bigger problems to affect your future work. This is what I should do; you don't need to thank me.”
Her voice was clear, and she spoke very earnestly.
“Now, you should rest for a while. It's still an hour's drive to the other hospital.”
Alfonso nodded in agreement but clenched his fists tightly.
Tiffany sat quietly, looking out the window, her face unusually calm.
As time passed, about an hour later, she sent a message to Leon.
After confirming his reply, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She then got out of the car, taking a private passage.
Upon entering, she went straight to the VIP room.
When they arrived, everyone looked visibly anxious.
Once Alfonso was settled in his hospital room and everything was confirmed, Tiffany finally relaxed.
“Since everything that needed handling is taken care of, I'll head back now. If you need anything, contact me promptly.”
With that, she turned to leave but suddenly stopped, remembering something.
She turned back to look at Alfonso, “Get a new phone quickly. We need to be able to contact you.”
Jace quickly responded, “Don't worry, Tiffany. I'll handle it. I'll get a phone right away.”
Tiffany hung up the phone and left directly.
Back in the car, she sighed in relief. By the time she got home, it was already dark.
Leon hadn't returned yet, but Tiffany had a good idea why.
He had a lot on his plate and didn't know when he'd be back.
Feeling drowsy, Tiffany soon lay down and rested.
Before she knew it, she heard faint noises.
Then, she felt herself being gently lifted.
Tiffany groggily opened her eyes and saw Leon's deep, gentle eyes.
“You're back?”
Tiffany blinked, still sleepy.
Leon smiled warmly, his face serious as he replied, “Yes, I took care of most things. Why did you fall asleep on the couch?”
Tiffany wrapped her arms around Leon's neck, her eyes full of tenderness and calm.
“Leon, you've been working hard these past few days.”
She lifted her head and kissed him, her face earnest.
Leon kissed her back with equal seriousness.
“Alright, let's get some rest.”
“There's a lot to handle tomorrow. You've been working hard too.”
He carefully placed Tiffany on the bed.
She was still half-asleep, her eyes barely open.
Feeling a bit dazed from the past few days' events, her emotions were mixed.
She took a deep breath, her face serious but her mood noticeably better.
“Okay, we'll talk tomorrow. Get some rest now.”
Leon kissed her forehead as she seemed about to say something.
Feeling the tickle on her forehead, she was momentarily dazed.
Before she knew it, Leon had covered her with a blanket and headed to the bathroom.
She closed her eyes comfortably and soon fell asleep.
The next morning, Leon was no longer by her side when she woke up.
At that moment, she felt a mix of emotions and checked her phone.
“Honey, I've prepared breakfast in the living room. Make sure you eat when you get up.”
“I'll spend more time with you once I finish these tasks.”
Feeling a lump in her throat, she was deeply moved.
A warm feeling washed over her as she got up, washed up, and went to the living room.
Sure enough, the table was set with a variety of her favorite foods, still warm.
She felt truly touched and slowly enjoyed her breakfast.
Just then, Julie's call came through.
Seeing the message, she immediately answered the call.
Though she didn't know what was going on, she sensed it wasn't simple.
Sure enough, as soon as she answered, Julie's anxious voice came through.
“Tiffany, you need to check the internet right now. The news is everywhere, and it's pretty scary.”
“And it's all about you and Alfonso. I guess Mr. Cooper hasn't seen it yet, or he'd have had it taken down by now.”
Tiffany frowned, “What's the situation exactly?”
“It's hard to explain over the phone, but you'll be shocked when you see it. It's a false rumor, but it's already spreading online.”
“You should check it out yourself.”
Tiffany's frown deepened, and she nodded.
After hanging up, she logged onto the platform. The moment she saw the news, her eyes widened in astonishment.
