And soon the meeting comes to an end.And the elders hail Luna Emma for bringing Alpha Nathan to learn about this.

"I have always thought humans aren't suitable to be Luna, but right now I have the feeling that our pack has a good future with you in it" Alpha Drake said, and this made Mia angry.

"Thank you, Elder Drake, for your trust. I am honored, and I promise to do things that will benefit everyone In this pack" she said, and she excused herself to go and meet Mia.

"What are you looking for?" She asked angrily.

"This isn't a time to fight, Mia; I only came to advise you if you could stop using this negative energy and focus on the positive things. We should be happy that slavery was ended in the pack; that's a win for everyone, especially us royals. But making it obvious that you are angry will only give people negative thoughts about you. Remember, we are still going for the crown. Actually, I didn't want it; I just wanted to live a simple life, but I made up my mind that I would compete with you in this, so when you finally get the crown, you will value it. But if I just sit back and make everything easy, you might think everything his wrapped up around your fingers. All you should know is that you will always have to deal with me every day, so forget the hatred we can work together to make things easier" Emma said, leaving before she could reply.

She fumes as she goes out of the throne room and meets Alpha Nathan and his beta by the hallway.

",Why do you look angry? Luna Mia, I thought this was supposed to be great news for everyone" he asked, moving closer to her.

"Maybe I hated the fact that you only listened to her and not me. I can see she's now your favorite; that's why you started writing her Letters about how she blows your mind, right?" Mia flared up, and Alpha Nathan and Beta Khan looked at each other at once.

", Mia, stop being childish. And again, why would you take the letter? Why do you keep intruding into her privacy?" Nathan tried keeping his voice low, but it came out harsh.

"You are the childish person here, Alpha, and you are talking about privacy. She intruded in my first; she's the one that shows up out of nowhere and turns us against each other. So how do you expect me to like her and treat her like my friend or sister whatsoever? I keep hating her gut more and more every day. And she shall not have peace in this palace." She Thundered, and Alpha Nathan raised his hand to slap her but quickly stopped himself from doing that.

"What are you trying to do? Slap me because of her. Come on, do it" She dragged his hand.

"Luna Mia, with all due respect, I will advise if you can sort out any problem inside; this is a palace and someone might be watching. So I cajole you to discuss this amicably with him later." Beta Kaden intervened when he couldn't take it anymore.

"Tell your Alpha this , not me" she said, walking away. Alpha Nathan took a deep breath, frustrated, as he watched Mia walk away.

"Alpha Nathan, I think you need to learn how to be more patient with her. I understand she's getting on your neck, but the truth is you shouldn't have tried to slap her. She will think you Care so much more about Emma than her" Beta Kaden advised.

",I understand, but I never meant to do that, but the truth is she has her own way of getting me angry. First, she took the letter I wrote to her because I couldn't show up at her room earlier and even cursed her right in front of me. Isn't that too much? I know I made a mistake by not being man enough, but at times she should learn to watch her mouth" Alpha Nathan explained, and Beta Kaden promised to speak with her.

"I shall speak right to her; maybe you should write her a letter too if that's what she needs." Beta Kaden gave him a fussy look, and Alpha Nathan glared at him. He chuckled.

"I never meant to write a letter; it's the third day of marriage and I haven't spent any nights with her; that's not fair, but yet she still cares less and only wants to see everyone happy. It makes me wonder if Mia is that positive and sweet girl I used to know, the girl who I only spent little time with but yet cherished every moment, he said with so much concern in his voice.

"Yes, only that she's pompous and grumpy, but everything is top-notch; she had really changed" Emma walked there and asked who they were talking about.

"You don't have to worry; we are good. You did a great job today. You can go and rest while I deal with the other things." Alpha Nathan said, and she has a doubt he's keeping something but shows less concern; maybe he didn't want to talk about it.

"We have a letter for your company. About the contract, the final presentation before they finally signed the contract heads tomorrow. And I will be happy to be there to do the presentation. And I wanted to ask if I could get my position back, working. I can assure you that working at the office won't make me neglect my duties in this palace" Emma said, and Alpha Nathan nodded in agreement.

"You know I will always support everything good you do; we shall resume work tomorrow" Alpha Nathan said softly.

"I am so happy, but I also think you should have a talk with Luna Mia; I heard she's dropping her modeling career. You should persuade her not to, so she won't be bored in this palace when we are at the company. She's smart and beautiful; she shouldn't sacrifice her dream like that" Emma said, and Beta Kaden looked at her; he could feel the sincerity. Why would Mia choose someone like her as an enemy?
