Chapter 33 Chapter 32
Selena
“God, this’s way too open.” I watched myself in the mirror.
The dress just as I expected was exposed through the cut that ran deep to my chest, leaving the skin of my breast exposed.
“This’s not happening.”
The more I looked at the dress, the more ridiculous it looked. The slit at the thigh was okay, but..
“Girl you look so good!” Halley yelled as she entered my room. I’ve called her to help me with my makeup. Not like I couldn’t do one, but I wanted something dazzling, and that was just Halley’s field.
“I don’t feel uncomfortable, Halley. This’s ridiculous.” I moved to sit in the bed, my eyes on the mirror again.
It wasn’t that I didn’t look good in the dress. In fact, I looked hot and sexy, like those models showed on TV but the dress was too exotic.
Though not all my boobs weren’t out, my cleavage was more of an attraction point. I hated having all eyes on me.
“You need to stop being this way, Selena. Look at you.” She stopped in front of me.
“Right now, you look so different from the usually casual Selena, and this’s what I’ve always wanted. So, all you have to do now is make yourself comfortable, smile, and go out to the party. Swipe Theodore off his feet and make him kiss your legs. knock Noah into jealousy and make him regret and..” She dragged the and.
“Lose some knots girl. You are twenty-four, and still a virgin. I’m scared you aren’t going to give that coochi to anyone forever, so babe, take the chance to climb into Theorode’s bed, and let him fuck you. And trust me, it feels good.”
She was spouting nonsense again.
“You don’t even worry about the type of person he is. He is Theodore Mateo.”
While I didn’t tell Halley that Theodore was in agreement to help me against Noah. I only told her that Noah was going to be at the party.
“You know my take on that. The badder the sweeter.” She winked and I wanted to throw up.
My phone beeped, and I took it.
“Come downstairs.” The message said.
“He is here.” I sighed, standing up to look at myself again.
“Oh oh,” Halley stood up, running to the window. “Oh my God, what a sexy hearty car. Where is your man at?”
Someone needed to keep her mouth shut. I paid no heed to her, only checking myself to make sure I was okay.
With a final glance, I inhaled. It was just for a few hours anyway, then it’ll be over.
“I’ll be leaving now,” I spoke to Halley who was still looking down, probably to find Theodore. I doubt he would want to stand out beside the car.
Halley walked away from the open window to me.
“Don’t mess up, Selena. Just enjoy everything Theodore has to offer today and if eventually he decides that he wants you to—“
“Just shut it, you shameless human.” I pushed her mouth, knowing what was coming next.
“If Josh asks of me, tell him I went for a company meeting and would be back early,” I said walking out.
“Oh please, he’s not a child anymore. He will do well without you.” She pushed my back out of the room.
“Enjoy my friend.” With a final wave, I walked down.
Each step I took only told how open my chest was.
Finally, I got down and as expected the car was luxurious, but there was a broad man standing in front of the car. It has to be a bodyguard, maybe Theodore was inside?
Suddenly I feel so embarrassed.
What was he going to say seeing me in the dress?
“Ms Selena,” The guard walked towards me, stretching his hand.
I hesitated for a second, then took his hand. We walked to the car. And he opened the door.
It was empty.
I turned to him.
“Where is..” What should I call him? Theodore, boss, sir?
Theodore must be fitting more since we are going out as his girlfriend.
“Theodore,” I asked.
“The boss said you will meet at the party. He got busy.”
I nodded and entered the car. But I couldn’t help the disappointment that was fixed in my mind.
The ride to the place was silent and finally the car stopped.
Again, the guard came out to open the door and then closed it.
“Enjoy yourself.” He pointed to the building, and then he was gone.
I stared at the building. The door was wide open, but no one was moving in or going out.
What if this wasn't the place? Yet I walked in.
And it indeed was.
Luxurious chandeliers bathe the large room in radiance. Guests move around dressed in beautiful, expensive wear and jewels
I bit my lips suddenly feeling watched. Or maybe I was, because I locked gaze with multiple people as I scanned the room for Theodore.
I walked in, trying not to focus on one place or on someone.
Now that I was here, the women were equally dressed, their bodies opened like mine, though theirs wasn't as big as mine.
“Who is she?” I heard whispers from the side.
“She must be new. There is no way I had forgotten someone who looked like a goddess. I should go say hi,”
My eyes widened. Though I couldn’t see the men, I knew I was the topic of discussion.
Please don’t come close.
My hands started to sweat as I held my dress. Just where was Theodore?
“Hey,” someone slid in front of me, and I held myself back so as not to collapse.
I stopped looking at him.
“What’s your name? You must be new here. Who are you with?” So many questions flew, and I could only clench my hands to myself.
Too nervous to speak. I’ve never been in this intimidating space before.
“Excuse me.”
My body froze at the voice. It was Noah.
“Who do we have here? Noah Theodore,” The guy cheered as Noah came into view, standing in front of me.
My heart skipped a beat. His hair was styled back, and his tailored suit was styled with a red rose. He looks so perfect and handsome.
“What are you doing here, Selena?” His face tightened.
