Fifty Two
"You and Kiley need to have many babies soon because your house is so quiet," said Dionne.
"Let see, Dionne. I can't have just one child. Can there be more?" Ayesha replied with a laugh.
"You're only saying that now because you're not pregnant yet, but when it comes to the point where you need to give birth, you won't be able to think of those words. All you're thinking about is how you're going to get the child out," she said with a smile.
Ayesh smiled at what she said.
"How is Baby Denise doing?" asked the best friend.
"She's okay, she's eating now and I'm happy because her nanny has been very attentive. I'm ashamed because she told me that Denise can be fed because I'm the mother," Dionne replied with a laugh.
"That's normal for a first time mother like you. She should know because she gave birth first," said Ayesha.
"How was your study?" Dionne asked.
"It's okay. I'm planning to enroll at the entrance to the university. The online subjects are limited when you enroll there, but it's okay at least I learned," Ayesha answered with a smile.
"That's a big thing as long as the important thing is that you were able to enroll. There are others who really want to study but don't have the money to enroll," Dionne answered with a smile.
"Yes. We are still lucky because we have an income rather than those who had to work hard to find a job. We are not professionals so it is difficult for us to find a large salary. Sometimes I am too lazy to write but sometimes I think Everything I do is for my future," Ayesha said smiling as she looked at her.
"I'm so proud of you and everything you've accomplished, Ayesha," Dionne said.
"You? What are your plans now that Denise has a nanny? Go to school and let's enroll together. What do you want to do in life?" asked Ayesha.
"That was my plan, Ayesha. But will I be able to do it while I have my sister going to school? Working while still having a child? I don't know if I can do it," Dionne answered.
"There's nothing you can't do for people who have dreams in life, Dionne. I'm here as your friends ready to support you. And there's Lennox who we both know will never leave you. He's always supported you and is very kind even I didn't ask him to tell me everything about your life there at his house but he took the initiative to let me and Kiley and I know. He is the perfect man for you, Dionne. So if you are ready to love again, don't go to someone else to love him, even if we say that he hasn't developed feelings for you yet. Insist so that you too can be happy," Ayesha said with a smile.
Dionne is also infected by her friend's smile because every time the two of them meet, she only says happy things which makes her happy because it's not the two of them who had a problem, it's more difficult to comfort when the two of them are going through something.
He has not yet called their house and said hello or maybe he will go home for a while to visit because Denise has a nanny.
And he has also thought about enrolling and wants to become a teacher. Maybe he will be able to keep up with everything because he is already very okay with himself and has moved on for sure. And he just smiled when he thought that he was laughing at all the pain he went through. He learned to love the wrong person but that was the only way for him to meet someone who can accompany him through hardships and joys.
And she doesn't need a man shy of responsibility. He shook his head to think that it had been a few months but their paths had not met so that he could see how his life had changed and how he got up after he left her and hurt her. He wants to show her that he can live without her by his side.
"What course do you want to take? So that you can get ready," Ayesha asked.
It is preparing something they can eat while they are working on a story to write. He can't think of anything new to write now because he passed two before and he has already signed a contract.
"I want to be a teacher, Ayesha. I love teaching kids," she answered with a smile.
"What you want is fine. So I'll tell you when enrollment is over and we'll go to the university together and look at the requirements," Ayesha said with a smile.
"All right. Let's go together because it would be embarrassing if I go alone," Dionne answered.
"Of course. No one left," Ayesha said with a smile.
After a while they ate before starting he didn't take out his laptop because she felt shy because it was brand new maybe Ayesha throw a joke at her.
Dionne ate for a while because she felt hungry because she had been here for a few hours because they were just talking but her friend didn't want to eat. And she felt happy when Ayesha, leave for a while and go to the kitchen. Dionne knows that Ayesha is preparing food for the two of them. After a minutes, Ayesha go back in the living room with a tray of food.
“I’m starving, Ayesha. All I thought you forgot to prepare foods for us,” Dionne said, smiling.
Then Ayesha laugh out loud upon looking at her.
“That’s not gonna happen, Dionne. I know that you’re not in a diet days. But I know that you eat too much because you gain weight,” Ayesha said laughing.
“It’s okay. That means I love my life right now,” Dionne said, smiling.
