It was early dawn. Stephanie changed her clothes and planned to see if the baby was awake, but when she opened the door, Jack was already standing right before her in a suit. She raised his eyebrow. "Why so early today?"

"Business." Jack gave a charming smile. "It's urgent."

"Go, then. Did you have breakfast?" Hearing that it was something urgent, Stephanie urged him to leave.

Jack, however, went inside her room. Stephanie followed him, perplexed. "I thought you have something urgent to deal with."

"Yes. That's why I got up and came here so early." A gleam of mischief flashed in his eyes, which told Stephanie that his "business" had something to do with her.

Stephanie was a bit annoyed of being tricked early in the morning. She decided to trick him back. "What's your business, then? I've got something urgent to deal with too."

"Huh?" Jack came a bit closer with his eyebrows lifted. "What's that?"

Stephanie blushed and fumbled, "It…It was something about the baby, of course."

Jack failed to hold back his laugh. He put his hands on Stephanie's slender waist. "You are so cute."

Stephanie got angry. "So what's your business anyway?"

'shush, I will tell you in a whisper." As he spoke, he drew his lips closer to her left ear. 'marry me."

"I didn't hear it." At first, Stephanie didn't figure it out. After she did, however, her face turned red like an apple. "What did you say?"

Jack showed a mysterious smile but didn't answer. Stephanie started to doubt her ears. Did she misheard, or was it a prank of Jack?

Stephanie didn't like his trick, so she decided to return the favor. She got rid of Jack's hands with an enchanting smile and answered in a decent way, "I refuse."

"Really?" There was something profound in his eyes.

"Yeah…Ah! What are you doing?" Before she could finish, she was pressed against the bed hard. "How could you do this to me?"

"I am doing this to you." She could see gleams of joy in his dark pupils. "Answer me again, yes or no. It's said that people tend to make better decisions when lying down." He came a bit closer and lowered his voice. "Especially when doing strenuous workout!"

"I say no, you jerk." Her answer was straightforward.

"Are you sure?" Jack said hesitantly. "I wouldn't mind if I'm a jerk or not. I am only a jerk to my wife. If my wife doesn't agree with me, I will keep being a jerk."

Seeing that Jack was so shameless, Stephanie wanted to blush for him. Right then, a hand pulled open the zip on her back.

"You…" Stephanie quickly pressed the hand to hold it still.

"What's wrong with me?" He was still teasing her. "You called me a jerk, and I'm just doing what a jerk would normally do."

Meanwhile, he began to move his other hand around her body, which made her give in at once. "Yes, I promise!"

"That's my sweetheart." Having received her permission, he smiled even harder. He held her face and gave her an earnest kiss.

After the kiss, a diamond ring was worn on her ring finger before she could react. "I love you." Jack whispered.

A month later, the wedding ceremony was held. In that wedding dress designed by a famous designer, Stephanie looked like a living angel.

As instructed, Stephanie walked towards Jack step by step. In their eyes was the endless love they bore.

Eventually, their hands met. Jack smiled and tilted his waist, whispering at Stephanie's ear, "You are the most beautiful bride in this world, and you will be my only lover for the rest of my life."

His bare love words made her snow-white face blushed like the evening glow. She stared at Jack with her charming eyes, while her lips bent to a sweet arc.

"You are my true love too, my best groom."

Five months later, they returned from a vacation abroad. Sitting on Jack's legs, Stephanie said to him in a serious tone, "From now on, no more sex!"

"Why?" There was confusion as well as grievance in his eyes.

"Take a guess." She raised her eyebrows, feeling like playing a trick on him. Jack, however, undressed her with a cunning smile. "You sure you want me to guess?"

"You jerk." She spoke with her face red. "Come closer and I will tell you."

Jack went closer in doubt.

"I am pregnant."

"What?"

"I am pregnant!"

"I can't hear you."

"I AM PREGNANT!"

At the end, the two were frolicking on that soft double bed.
