Chapter 102 Preparing
“What’s going on Elara?.” Adrian asked as I smiled at him, mom and I have been preparing this all day, I got the hotel, I got it decorated and now all o have to do is get Adrian to come with me without a fuss so o made a call, told him it’s urgent and I needed him.

“I want you to come some here with me no questions asked.” I whispered as he stared at me, my fingers fiddled against each other, my breath hitches as I stared at him before I looked away instantly.

Adrian found his place toward me and in a second, he wrapped his hand around my waist.

“Did something happen? You look nervous.”

“Just, come with me please.” I begged, I watched as he took a heavy breath. “I promise it’s not bad news, nothing bad happened, I just want you to come with me.”

“You have a surprise for me.” He asked and I smiled at him, I did have one for him, and it’s going to be a crazy surprise, because even I didn’t expect to get pregnant so fast.

“Yes, I’m not saying anything after this so, are you going to come with me, I don’t want you to drive, let’s get the driver to take us.” I whispered and he nodded softly.

As he held my hand, he led me out of the house.

Mom knows we are not coming back and she already has someone that will pick up Javier, she is even excited to spend the day with Javier alone, they have not had alone time since we got here, maybe they did need it( to talk about everything.

I am sure he has questions about his father, about my father and about how they were never allowed to leave the house back then and mom is going to answer ever question that he has, I know she will.

We got to the place in no time.

“Your surprise is in a hotel.” Adrian asked, it was. “Is it the weekend away?.” He asked and I smiled, I completely forgot that today is just Friday and we had the rest of the weekend to be together here if we wanted, I didn’t want to leave mom alone for so long.

“Just come with me and no more second guessing.” I stated and he smiled at me, I held his hand softly when I lead him into the place, I already have the key, we would be in the last floor, and our room is the one toward the end of the hallway. I have the gaurds already all around place to make sure we are safe

“How did you get the gaurds not to tell me this?.”

“It’s easier if they get threatened and you have no idea how scared of you they are, it’s funny.” I smiled and he rolled his eyes at me.

“Are you ready for this Adrian?.”  I asked, we were not both standing in front of the door, one more step and he will see what my surprise is.

“I’m ready.” He smiled and I nodded, when he pulls the knob open and he walked into the room.

The moment he did, the lights came on, I had the room decorated with flowers and teddy bear and not only that, there was a big sign that said, about to become a daddy, on the bed is a little package, the test I had taken and shoes, cute baby shoes, I felt quite emotional when I saw it, it made me feel happy in some type of way.

I glanced at Adrian for a moment, I watched as he headed toward the gift and he opened it, he didn’t even bother looking at the shoes because all he did stare at was the test.

“I’m pregnant, I am about to have baby, we are about to have a baby and we are about to be parent Adrian.” I smiled at him, deep down I was a nervous wreck and he knew that as much as I did.

He finally looked up toward me and that smile, I would kill to see it again, I love the way he looked at me, I love the way he smiled at me and it made me happier when he strolled toward me and he wrapped his hand around me, pulling me closer to him, his scent filled my nostrils.

“Adrian.”

“This is the greatest gift ever.”

“You are not mad that this is not going according to plan.” I asked, he instantly pulled away from me and his eyes were on mine.

“Mad? Why will I be mad Elara? All I ever wanted to do is to have a family, to have kids, to have people that I will care for, I will love, people to protect, yes I know I never had the greatest family but it doesn’t matter, because what we became, it was all because of my father, and I know I am nothing like him, I know I am so much better than him and this kid, I will love this kid more than I have ever loved anyone.”

“More than me.” I frowned softly and he playfully rolled his eyes at me.

“I can’t love anyone more than I could ever love you Elara, you are my life. And without you I am nothing.” He smiled and I leaned in to place a kiss on his lips. “

“I love you so much.” Adrian smiled. “I can’t wait to do this with you, be father, be a parent, I can’t wait to have you close to me, I can’t wait for you to look so beautiful while carrying this baby.” He said and I smiled

Up until now, I was scared but not anymore because I know we can do it.
