Chapter 100 We did it

Chapter 100 We did it
Elara’s POV…

“We did it.” I breathed out, he wrapped his hand around me as we headed into the house, the first person I saw was mom pacing around the room and beside her was Javier.

“They are back.” Javier yelled as he ran toward me and hugged me, he is a good boy, mom saw me  and her eyes swelled with tears, I understood why she was scared, I only had a few things remaining and we will be over with this nightmare.

I know by now, they have noticed he is gone, they are not going to fight for someone like him and his men, I am sure one has already dropped dead and now they are scared, worried that it’s going to happen to them next and I did understand why they will be this scared and worried.

“I’m fine mom, I told you Adrian will make sure I am safe, he always makes sure I am safe; he always makes sure that nothing bad happens to me and I am always fine.” I smiled as she stared at me and she hugged him, I watched as he melted into the hug,

We were both deprived of our mother’s love, we both missed out on having the true love of a mother, and I loved that mom saw him as her own; she cared for him and she loved him too.

“Thank you.”

“You don’t have to, I love your daughter and she is the best thing to ever happen to me.” He said and I smiled.

“I made food in case anyone is hungry, I made enough to go around and for all of your men, you worked hard for this and I was so scared, I was worried I would never have to see you again.”

“You are stuck with me for the rest of your life mama.” I smiled as she stared at me, I have not called her mama in a long time, something it will just slip up and it’s something that has been on my mind lately, a memory that I recalled from my past, one that I am sure she didn’t forget either, it was beautiful even thinking about it.

I glanced at mom with a smile.

“I will have all of the men here for the food.” He said

It was about four in the morning, and I am sure we are all starved and sleep drives, we have even working since we got the information about Harry and right now we did need that food.

The room was filled with laughter, his gaurds were here, Mo was here and Javier too, we all had a smile on our faces, knowing that that bastard is in the basement and he is slowly dying, know that he will be dead soon and we will throw his body away because he does not deserve to be buried like a human, he doesn’t deserve to be treated like one; he is a monster, a horrible person, and he doesn’t deserve any type of empathy.

“This is great.” One of the guards said and mom smiled,

“Well mom is a great cook.” I said, at that moment, Adrian tapped his glass and the whole room kept quite, he pulled his glass up and we did the same, before he stood up.

“We fought this war and we won, we took what belonged to us and we made sure we killed who hurt the leader of our mafia, we made sure his death didn’t go in vain, papa was a good man, a great leader and we always have to honor him, we have to never forget him and we have to remember the way he cared for every one of us, now that the war is over, we will stay back to handle the rest of the affairs and after that, a vacation for everyone, we need to recover and have a clear mind for the journey ahead of us.” He said and the whole room cheered.

“We are happy to have with us Elara’s mother and brother, Javier will be joining the schools when we get back from our holiday, and this is just a thought, you can say no, since Elara is going to be helping me with the mafia, I will hate for you to be all alone and there was a time Frank talked about you, he was drunk, I never mentioned it to him when he was sober because I didn’t want him to think about it, I always kept it with myself but there was always something you told him you wanted and he bought the property years ago, he even had the design planned out but he never went ahead with it because he was scared, he was worried that you will never come back and when you do come back, you will hate the design, I have the place, I have the design, all you have to do is say yes.”

“Say yes to what.” I asked, with the way mom looked; she knew what he was talking about, her eyes filled with tears as she stared at me.

“Your papa and I talked about me having a café, a little café where everyone one could eat for free, it was for the homeless, or people that didn’t have much but wanted to eat a good meal, I didn’t need their money because I had enough and your papa didn’t need their money either, we talked about having it in the middle of town and we serve people every single day, it would be large and beautiful and anyone could sit there for as long as they want, we could have staffs they would help with things.” She smiled as a tears slipped out of her eyes.

“Say the word and I will have it ready just like he wanted.”

“I want it to be done exactly the way he wanted.” She said and we smiled
