Stolen Bond
That sounds utterly ridiculous. Silverpaw's old sherman is the only person I ever allowed access to our mate bond, and he was known to be a good man. Besides, how would messing up with our mate bond benefit him?
"You know where we can find the idiot? I am sure the bond will return as soon as I cut off his head," Conrad asks the ghost of his mother.
"I am afraid you came a bit too late, son. Your enemy used Keira's blood to create a new mate bond between you and his wicked daughter. She desires to become the new queen and forever enjoy your wife's hard earned admiration. With the stolen mate bond and her father's spells she can make you and your brothers believe that she is Keira, your true mate," the ghost answers.
Stunned silence envelops us as her words sinks in. "We must return to the palace immediately!" Conrad says, worry rising in his voice. "Fenris and Garren need to know!"
"Do not go back to the palace! Your enemies already arrived. Your brothers will not be in their right minds. They are under their Sherman's trance and may not even recognize their true mate anymore," his mother cautious.
"What do we do then?" I desperately ask.
"Trust in their love for you, Keira. That's the only way you can defeat every dark spell that now binds your bond. Your heart is special, you should be able to conquer this challenge just like you conquered all others," the ghost smiles as though bidding us fairwell before fading away.
Who would have thought that I would regret trying to break the mate bond between me and my powerful mates when I hated them? It was the only way I was able to Lunacrest for the knight tournament without being discovered. Everyone trusted the pack Sherman, but we all knew that he would do anything for his wicked daughter, Arina.
"Please don't blame yourself. It would never have happened if I and my brothers had not made the mistake of choosing that awful princess over you," Conrad says.
Yes, was their fault too. But I made the decision to trust the Sherman. It's disheartening to have to confront another group of enemies right after our marriage.
"Everyone I care about insude the palace. I must go back and see what I can do. My father still has one last wish he hasn't made," I say to Conrad. "Do not go near the Sherman or his daughter as their dark spells may be able to affect you too."

Keira's Pov
I walk into the palace parlor and my heart skips a beat at the sight of my husband, Angel Fenris, locked in a passionate embrace with the Sherman's daughter, Arina, who is dressed in a sexy, long black dress. Her hands slide under his shirt as she sucks on his lips, like an hungry animal.
My fists and jaws clench in rage. I will rip her into a thousand pieces. I would be mad at him as well if I didn't know that he is under a spell.
“Fenris!” I shout and they break apart. He turns to look at me, confusion etched on his face.
Arina smirks, her snow-white skin glowing as she says, “Welcome back Keira! I was just keeping your husband company while you were away.”
I draw my sword, pointing it at her. “Get away from him!” I hisss.
“Who is she?” Fenris asks her and my heart sinks as I realize he no longer recognizes me.
“I am your wife. The one you married yesterday,” I say even though it may not change anything right now.
Arina laughs softly, a chilling sound that echos through the room. "Looks like he’s forgotten you already. Isn’t that delightful?”
"You have lost your mind if you actually think you can be with my mates like this. You must have gotten really tired of living your own life to want mine so badly," I respond.
The smile fades from her face. "You were ungrateful to have been mated to them. You never wanted nor deserved to be with them. I on other hand will love and appreciate their affection," she argues. "All I need is to kill you to ensure that they will never think of your existence ever again," she adds.
I tighten my grip on the sword. If it's a fight she wants then I will give her one. "Funny that it's your head that is going to roll."
I take quick steps towards her, but then a sudden terriffying pain hits me. A scream escapes my lips as I fall.
She made him use his powers on me?!
"Fenris stop!" I yell but nothing changes.
Instead he intensifies the pain even further. "No one hurts our queen," he declares as he starts making his way to me.
Shit! I can't even hold the sword anymore. My vision is blurring. But I do not miss the sight of Garren entering the room before the pain ends.
He walks to Arina and hugs her affectionately. Guess he too is under her father's trance.
"What happened?" he asks.
"That wrench tried to kill me!" Arina screams.
Angel Garren lets go of her and storms towards me.
“Garren, wake up. You can fight her spells,” I whisper, feeling my heart pound like thunder against my chest.
I pull myself to my feet and back up against the wall.
"Kill her!" Aria orders and his hand immediately shoot up and pins me to the wall by the throat. He is squeezing slowly. I try not to panic and struggle. It makes it worse.
"Goodbye Keira." Aria says with an evil smile before turning to leave.
"Garren . . . I know you can’t control this. Please don't kill me,” I struggle to get out the words.
I stare hard into those black depths of his eyes trying to will him to come back.
“Gerren, I… love you,” I whisper but he tightens his grip, completely cutting off air from entering my lungs. My vision starts to blur again.
I am going to die by my husband's hand?
