Chapter 21

Crystal smiled at Derrina who was playing with some servants in the palace. Cellina, who was also there, was busy looking at some of the menus that the palace chef would serve for her daughter's birthday party. Yes, it was Derrina's birthday soon and Cellina decided to celebrate her daughter's birthday at the palace.

"Of course, she had her husband's permission."

"It seems that more Marus food should be served, as i will be inviting many children. How do i tell mother?"Cellina said, looking at Crystal and asking for her mother's opinion.

"Good idea. The children will definitely like sweets more than other foods. But don't use too much sugar. Make it from natural ingredients that are healthy for their bodies,"Crystal said.

"All right, make all these sweet dishes in large quantities. Then serve the main meal as usual. Cellina said to the palace cook."

"Yes, Your Majesty, i will prepare everything with vats,"the cook said as he bowed respectfully before leaving. At the same time, Derrina got up from her seat and walked over to her mother.

"Mom, is Felicie coming?"Derrina asked.

"Of course dear, Mom will invite all your friends,"hearing this, Derrina immediately brightened up and hugged her mother tightly.

"I'm going to wear a beautiful dress. Felicie will be amazed when she sees it,"Derrina said with great excitement. Cellina and Crystal chuckled softly at the little girl's words.

"You will definitely be the most beautiful girl in the Han, my dear,"Cellina said as she lovingly rubbed the top of her daughter's head.

Shortly after, the palace door opened and Evan entered the palace with his cold face. Desrina, who was near Cellina, immediately remembered seeing Evan's arrival. In fact, the girl had never dared to approach her uncle since her childhood. Derrina would feel scared when she saw Evan's face, which looked very scary.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you,"Cellina said. Evan, hearing this, raised an eyebrow and looked at his mother.

"Rest, you must be tired. We'll talk later,"Crystal said when she saw her son's face looking very tired.

"Is the mattress here yet?"Cellina whispered to her mother. Hearing this, Crystal just shook her head.

"It looks like she really feels at home there, but if i were her, i would definitely stay for days like this,"Cellina said suddenly, stopping Evan's footsteps as he started to climb the stairs.

Crystal and Cellina, who saw this, frowned and looked at Evan. Meanwhile, Evan, who felt like he was being stared at, immediately got back on his feet and headed for his room.

Arriving at the room, the man immediately entered the bathroom to clean his body. In a short time, he had changed into more casual clothes.

Just as Evan was about to walk to his bed, his ears suddenly picked up the sound of an approaching horse whinnying. He slowly stepped out onto the balcony of his room to see what was going on outside.

There he saw a horse-drawn carriage stop right in the palace courtyard. Not long gracefully dismounted and smiled at everyone in front of her smiled at everyone in front of her. It couldn't be denied that Evan was a little when he saw the girl's beauty.

"You have finally returned, Your Majesty. Queen Crystal is waiting for you inside,"said Metilda, one of Crystal's trusted servants. While Alissya, hearing this, just showed her beautiful smile. As Alissya was about to enter the palace, a horse-drawn carriage suddenly reentered the palace. She frowned in confusion when she didn't recognize the carriage.

'Who's coming?'Alissya thought, because the sun will be setting soon. Of course, it was rare for guests to visit the palace in the evening.

Meanwhile, Evan, who had originally been on the balcony of the room, disappeared for a moment and then reappeared right behind the girl. Alissya raised her body when she felt a sudden wind whipping her hair. At that moment, she was surprised to see Evan's presence. Evan walked up to Alissya and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"What's wrong?"Alissya asked in surprise. Because Evan didn't usually hug her waist possessively.

Evan was silent. Alissya sighed when she knew he wouldn't answer her question. The girl just imagined her flat face as she waited for the owner of the Kuta train to get off. Just then, Alissya saw a middle-aged man get off with his wife, smiling at her.

"I didn't know you were coming so soon, Grandma,"Evan said coldly. Alissya rounded her eyes when she heard Evan's words. In other words, the middle-aged couple in front of her this time were her maternal grandparents.

"Can you smile at this old lady when you ask?"Caroline said, causing Alissya to immediately elbow Evan in the stomach, making the man whimper a little.

"Don't be like that,"Alissya whispered softly into the man's ear.

"Why?"Evan asked Alissya with a frown.

"When is this man going to be sensitive,"Alissya's mind snarled in annoyance.

Alissya immediately let go of Evan's hand around her waist, then bowed to Caroline and Geordan before entering the palace with an annoyed face.

Meanwhile, Caroline and Geordan, seeing the couple's little argument in front of them, could only chuckle quietly. They also left.

"I can't sleep yet. Instead of staying in the room, it's better if I get some fresh air outside,"Alissya said.

Cellina, who heard Alissya's words, knew how her sister's relationship with her dead sister was. Cellina was a little worried that Alissya's best friend got a very cold mate like her twin brother.

"Did Evan say goodbye to you?"Cellina asked directly. She was not a woman who liked to be confused. She got right to the point and asked what was on her mind.

"Yes, he's quite good, it's just that his attitude is too cold,"Alissya said, remembering Evan's attitude towards her.

"You're right, he is a very cold man. But you know, he has a very good heart,"Cellina said, making Alissya remember.

Cellina pulled Alissya's hand and held it tightly. At that moment, Alissya looked at Celia in confusion when she saw the woman's actions.

"Maybe he can't see his feelings for you right now. But one day you will definitely be the only reason for her to survive."

Alissya smiled and nodded her head, "I understand what you mean, but let the Moon Goddess take care of everything. I will only do what I need to do. If the Moon Goddess asks me to stay, then I will stay. But if not..."

Alissya immediately stopped what she was saying and sighed softly. This was certainly not what she wanted.

"I will do my best,"she continued with a simple smile and looked at Cellina.

"I believe in you. You will definitely be the best partner for her,"Cellina said, leaving Alissya only able to smile.

"I want that too, Cell, but it's very difficult,"Alissya thought. Alissya was very doubtful, she doubted her heart and also her mind. So far her relationship with Evan had not developed. Unlike other couples, she could only be patient to get her dead heart. But she didn't know how long her patience would last.
