CHAPTER 66

"So how did Alejandro take the news when you told him you were pregnant." He heard Andrea asked,immediately he froze.

"He actually told me."Abby said."I didn't even know I was pregnant.Weird right it's usually the wife telling the husband they expecting but in our case it was vice versa."She laughed playfully.

"Did you believe him."

"No.I was surprised so we took a pregnancy test and it came out positive.At first I couldn't believe it but instantly I was over joyed,another life was growing inside of me that's a part of Alejandro that thought made me happy I was having another baby with the man I love more than anything in this world I couldn't have ask for anything more."

Alejandro was rooted to the spot he can't believe it all this time she had been telling him the truth and he had chosen not to believe her.He was so angry at himself he'd forcefully married her,even going so far as to blackmail her only for what...nothing.He should've known she had been telling the truth,how could he not,anger and pain had cloud his judgement making him make irrational decisions.And she had married him,despite everything she'd married him we don't hurt or harm the people we love but he's done much worse and still she stayed by his side,kept quiet and pretended everything was alright.He didn't deserve her or the love she has for him,she should've married him because she wanted to not out of compulsion and for that he won't forgive himself if he loves her he never should have treated her so badly,he should do right by her even if it's the hardest thing to do but he'll sort everything out after Sofia's wedding,turning around he went back downstairs.

"Are you okay?"Abby asked Alejandro a few minutes later she'd left Andrea upstairs to come and look for him she hopes everything went well with his father.

He sipped on his scotch."Why wouldn't I be."

"I don't know.I see this darkness in your eyes that I've never seen before it scares me."That's because a life without you will completely cast me into darkness he silently said and the thought of being without you,living without you is terrifying."Is everything okay between you and your father."

"You have nothing to worry about."He brushed her forehead lightly with his firm lips."Always so considerate towards everyone even if they don't deserve it.I never should've forced you to marry me."

"Don't say that."Abby said."We might not have gotten married under the best of circumstances but I would've married you anyway.I never wanted any man to be my husband except you.The whole Blake story was a foolish mistake on my part I never should've agreed to marry him in the first place but I was afraid of falling in love with you again little did I know it was pointless because I never stopped loving you."

"You shouldn't love a man who threatened to destroy the beautiful life you've build for yourself."

"It wasn't beautiful because you weren't in it."She twined her fingers through his,he gazed down at their joined hands.

"I'm sorry Abigail.No don't say anything."He said when she opened her mouth to talk.The rest of the evening went smoothly later that night when they were getting ready for bed Alejandro asked her."Why didn't you tell me about my father's visit."

She sank down on the bed."I didn't want to cause unnecessary conflict between you two it happened once and look what happen to your father.You love your father I didn't want to be the cause of ruining your relationship family is important Alejandro."

"You my family too or doesn't that count.Would you rather divorce me to keep him happy."

"I wouldn't have taken the money."

"I know you wouldn't have.You would've left again without saying anything for the sake of keeping peace."

"Alejandro-...."

"Have you thought about me,what I want?Would you have told me the real reason why you wanted a divorce."

"Probably not.Maybe someday.I don't know.Your father loves you and only wants what's best for you.We also parents I'm sure you can understand."

"I do but that doesn't mean I'll make decisions for them and try to ruin their lives.Their happiness is more important nothing else."

She stood up and walked over to him taking his hands in her own she kissed them."I'm sorry I didn't want to cause problems between you and your father again all I want is for us to be happy and have our parents blessings."

"I don't expect you to lie to me or keep things from me Abigail.You my wife if I cannot trust you then who should I trust."

"You...you trust me."She murmured."Does that mean you believe me about not knowing about the pregnancy."

"Let's forget about that."He scooped her up in his arms."I want to forget about everything and move forward."

She smiled."I'd like that too."There was hope Abby told herself they were going in the right direction hopefully this time they'll finally live happily together forever.

The next morning at her doctor's appointment it's been confirmed she was carrying twins,Abby was so happy even the joy on Alejandro's face was evident he'd been so affectionate throughout the examination gently touching and stroking her hair kissing her lightly on the temple.Abby can say with certainty that their future together was bright and beautiful Alejandro hasn't said the three words she'd love to hear but soon he will she knows for sure.

"I'm happy for you two."Her mother told them outside."You in good hands honey.Be happy and love each other unconditionally."

"Thanks mom.Sure we can't give you a ride home."

"No,I'm meeting a friend don't worry about me.Alejandro sorry I won't be able to attend your sister's wedding."

"Don't worry about it Kate Jack already spoke to me."

"Spoke about what?"Abby asked looking back and forth between them.

"Jack and I are going on a vacation for two weeks.We need the time alone now that Alejandro is running the company Jack will take some time off it's long overdue he isn't getting any younger and I want my husband by my side."

"Enjoy yourself mother you deserve it."

"Don't call me I want alone time with my husband,only call if someone is dying other than that don't bother me."

Abby and Alejandro smiled."Got the message loud and clear."Abby told her mother.

"We'll talk soon."Kate said."I have to go."

Alejandro pulled her in for a kiss."People are watching."She said.

"I don't care let them,I'm kissing my wife."He claimed her mouth again Abby leaned into him and opened her mouth under his,seconds then minutes passed before they eventually came up for air."If we were at home...."He let his voice trail off.

"If we were in the car...."Abby smiled as she left the thought unfinished.He grabbed her hand and hurriedly pulled her in the direction of where the car was park."Alejandro slow down or have you forgotten I'm wearing heels."He stopped for a brief moment only to scoop her up in his arms.

"I like you better here anyway."The second they got into the car his cell rang but instead of answering it he made her sit on his lap."I love this idea of yours."Abby could feel his thing swelling against her sex.

"I love it too."She breathed,rocking her hips down onto his length,he groaned she smiled and did it again.His cell began ringing again,he took it out and looked at the screen.

"I have to take this it's important."She nodded and buried her face in his neck she listened as he talked for the next ten minutes."We have to go."

Abby scooted over to her seat."Something wrong?"

"They need me in Brazil for this new deal I'm working on,I have to leave now."

"Will you be back in time for Sofia's wedding."
