CHAPTER 67

"Yes but I'll see you there."Meaning she wasn't gonna see him for full three days,she was gonna miss him incredibly will she even survive this three days.

At home she quickly packed some clothes for him while he was getting ready. He looked sexy in his three piece black suit and neatly polished shoes,he was in full business mode,dangerous and delectable Abby thought as her gaze ran over his body."I'll video call Alejandra tonight before she goes to bed."Abby nodded."Don't look so sad it's only for a few days."

"I'm not sad."She lied."I'm gonna miss you that's all."

"Good,no other man but me should occupy your beautiful head."He kissed her long and slow."I'll miss this delicious mouth of yours."

"Will I also be the only one who'll occupy your mind and time."She asked Abby couldn't help but feel jealous will other women entertain and keep him busy is he gonna sleep with someone and find pleasure in their arms.Abby hated being insecure but she can't help it she knows how woman throw themselves at him she's seen that during their dinner dates or when they'd attend a gala event they don't care if he has a wife that's pregnant they still want him but who wouldn't he was sexy as sin,a walking god.

"I'm not planning on cheating on you Abigail.Your thoughts are written all over your face."If she had been any other woman he would've been disgusted in her insecurities and jealousy but with Abby it was another story all he wanted to do was kiss away all her fears and doubts,make her understand she is the only woman for him and he doesn't want anyone but her.

"I'm sorry,I know you hate clingyness and jealousy.I shouldn't have asked you that."

"You have more right than anyone to ask me anything you want.And yes you'll be the only woman who will occupy my mind and thoughts.I'm gonna miss you."He embraced her she slid her own arms around him.

"I'll miss everything about you."She murmured against his chest."Especially your intoxicating scent."

"I have to go."He said after several minutes."If I don't I won't want to leave you behind."Then don't she screamed inside her head take me with you."Don't work too hard."

"You too.I love you."She whispered,he opened his mouth to talk for a second Abby thought he was gonna say I love you too but he closed it again,took his suitcase and left.She walked over to the window and watched as he drove off a part of her leaving with him it's going to be a long three days already she was feeling the effect of his departure and it's only been a few minutes since he left.As promised he called Ally before she went to bed her daughter was sad that he'd left and she hadn't been here but he reassured her she'll see him soon enough.

The following days were quite hard for Abby Alejandro was such a big part of her life that one day without him felt like a lifetime.Although she was keeping herself busy with the cafe it only helped for a few hours,everything is going according to plan Amanda will hold the forth while she'll be away so she has nothing to worry about.Only a few hours to go then she'll see Alejandro tonight she and Ally will sleep over at his parents then tomorrow morning they'll be taking the family's private jet to Barcelona

"Abby Blake is here to see you."Amanda came to tell her.

"I'll be right out."She saw him sitting in one of the private boots up close she saw he was drinking a latte."Hey Blake.What brings you by."

"Came to see a friend or aren't you allowed to talk to me."

"Alejandro isn't that petty Blake.How are you?"

"Okay.Except your husband is destroying my business and reputation."

"What are you talking about?"She knows Blake was running a few successful interior design companies she had been thinking of hiring him as her interior designer for the new cafe.

"Some of the companies I'm working with are withdrawing their contracts and most of my clients find unexplainable reasons not to do business with me I'm losing money alot of it all because of your husband."

"How can you be so sure it's him Blake.What could Alejandro possible want or gain from sabotaging your business,I don't understand."

"It's because of you."Blake said.

"Me?"Abby said confused."What do I have to do with this."

"It's obvious he wants you all to himself,any man that comes within touching distance of you is dead.Please Abby if this continue I'm gonna be bankrupt and out on the streets I'll never work in the design industry again if my company closes there are employees I need to pay they have families to feed."

"What do you want from me,what can I do."

"Talk to your husband and tell him to retract whatever bad things he said about my company."

"Blake how can you be so sure it's him,do you have any proof of what you saying.Why don't you talk to him since you so sure it is him what makes you think he'll listen to me..if and that's a big if,it's him."

"The man worships the ground you walk on don't tell me you haven't notice I did talk to him he says it isn't him but I know it is,everything started when I kissed you the other night he'll destroy me and all my hard work that I've achieved over the years all because I kissed you."

"Blake I don't know-..."

"Please Abby."He said desperately and gripped her hands."Lux Illusion Architects is my livelihood if I lose it I lose everything."

Abby could see the desperation in his eyes she felt sorry for him."I still don't think Alejandro is involve but I'll talk to him and find out I'm not promising anything though."

"That's all I'm asking Abby."

"Good that you came I'm busy renovating my new cafe in South of Market I was hoping you could design and do the interior for me.I've seen the work you do and it's beautiful."

"I don't think that's a good idea Abby especially since your husband doesn't want me within five feet of you.Hire someone else please."

"Blake I love your designs please don't refuse.You'll be doing work for me and we are friends after all I'll talk to Alejandro don't worry and if you personally do not wanna do it I'm sure there is someone in your firm that can,It's strictly business.Think about it after I come back from Spain we can get together and discuss what I have in mind for the layout out front."

"Fine,I hope I'm not gonna regret this."

"Blake.."The ringing of her cell interrupted her it was Alejandro."Hello."

"My beautiful wife,I can't wait to see you tomorrow night."

"Neither can I how is everything going."

"Better just last minute details.What are you up to?"

"Having a drink with a friend."She glanced at Blake.

"I hope you not exerting yourself."

"I'm not I miss you."

"So am I sweetheart.I'll make it up to you."He promised.

"I know you will.I forgot to ask you have you seen my pendant I can't find it anywhere in the house."

"Last time I remember you put it in your purse the night we went for dinner at my parents."

"I know,it's not in the purse."

"Could be you misplaced it somewhere and forgot.I have to go I only called to check up on you.We'll talk soon."

"You really love him Abby don't you,one can hear it in your voice and the way you talk to him.Could you have loved me like that someday if he hadn't shown up again."

She doesn't think so Alejandro owns every part of her including her heart no man can ever compare."I could've loved you but not the way I love him."
