Chapter 41 Venting Anger
Chapter 41 Venting Anger
In the crowd not far away, Vivian stared venomously in Emily's direction, burning with jealousy.
Why did Emily always get so lucky, and why were there always so many great guys around her?
Right now, seeing her pursuer Sean still following Emily around, trying so hard to please her, Vivian's face turned dark with anger. That bitch Emily—wasn't it enough that she'd seduced so many men? Was she planning to go after the people around her too?
This was too much!
She couldn't swallow this insult. If she just left like this, wouldn't people think she was scared of Emily?
No way. She absolutely couldn't let this happen!
So she took a deep breath and stormed toward Emily, who glanced at her coldly, not taking her seriously at all.
"Emily, what's your problem? Isn't hooking up with all these men enough for you? Now you're trying to seduce my friend too? Don't you think you're going too far?"
Vivian accused her viciously. Emily raised an eyebrow. "You still dare to come find me? You're the one who can't handle losing. You lost but won't keep your promise, and now you're here saying this to me. You're really shameless."
"You!" Vivian exploded with rage and rushed forward, raising her hand to slap Emily!
Emily's expression changed slightly, her eyes fierce as she prepared to grab Vivian's hand, but someone else got there first, grabbing Vivian's hand and pushing her away hard!
"Emily, don't be scared. I'm here."
Jack said comfortingly, then turned around, staring at Vivian with disgust. "I'm warning you, if you dare mess with Emily again, I won't let you off! Don't think that just because you're a woman, I won't hit you!"
Vivian stumbled backward, her eyes wide with anger, but when she looked up and saw Jack's face clearly, she froze.
She hadn't expected him to be so surprisingly handsome—he looked even better than Adam.
Plus, when he was driving earlier, he was steady and reliable, yet able to save Emily at the critical moment. Clearly he was a man with real skills.
Vivian's heart skipped a beat. A man this excellent should be at her feet, not wrapped around that bitch Emily's finger!
"Sir, why are you being so mean? Emily's the one bullying me." Vivian said pitifully, her eyes looking at Jack all watery, deliberately showing her best angle.
She knew exactly what kind of woman men liked best. Many men had a protective instinct and loved seeing women cry. "I don't even know what I did wrong. It wasn't on purpose before, but Emily is being so petty and targeting me like this."
Jack looked disgusted. Vivian was actually trying to manipulate him—did she really think these tricks could fool him?
"Done talking? Then shut up! You're really disgusting. In my eyes, you're not worth even one of Emily's fingers!"
"That's impossible! How could Emily be better than me!" Vivian was furious, but Jack just smiled coldly.
Not far away, Emily took out her phone and recorded the whole scene, including Vivian's ugly behavior and her deliberate attempt to seduce Jack.
How ridiculous—Vivian actually thought she could seduce Jack. Who did she think she was?
"Enough, stop wasting your time on me. In my eyes you're just something disgusting! And one more thing—Emily is my little sister! If you dare make up any more dirty stories about us, I definitely won't let you off easy!"
"What did you say? I don't believe it!"
Vivian looked shocked. How could she believe these two were siblings!
"I don't care if you believe it or not. What's it to me?" Jack didn't want to waste any more time with this person. Emily had already put away her phone, planning to send this interesting footage to Adam another day.
But seeing that Vivian still dared to pester Jack, circling around him, she narrowed her eyes angrily.
Then she got directly into her red race car and stepped on the gas, driving straight at Vivian!
Vivian screamed and fell to the ground, staring at the car in front of her with terror.
The red race car stopped arrogantly in front of Vivian. Even though it didn't move another inch forward, it still scared Vivian so badly her legs went weak and she couldn't stand up.
Emily looked cold and proud, mocking her with disdain. "This is all you're capable of. You're such a useless waste."
Just then, Noah hurried over and saw Emily driving toward Vivian.
She looked so attractive in the car—confident and cool, with a cold smile.
Noah was slightly dazed, then came back to his senses and waved his hand. "Throw that woman and her friends out."
"Yes!" The racetrack staff immediately grabbed Vivian and her group of friends and started dragging them out.
Emily raised an eyebrow, looking at Noah with surprise. "Why are you here?"
"I heard something happened at the racetrack. I was worried about you." Noah explained frankly.
Emily's heart skipped a beat. She turned her head slightly, avoiding his gaze, but a gentle smile appeared at the corner of her mouth.
"Let go of me!"
Outside the racetrack, Vivian struggled angrily, and her friends all looked upset too.
"Vivian, this is all your fault! You're completely useless. You made us lose face and offended the Stone family!"
The men and women who came with Vivian glared at her with ugly expressions. Vivian clenched her teeth, feeling even more furious.
Then she took a taxi straight back to the Blake Villa and went to Adam to complain. "Adam! Emily's bullying me again! Look at my injuries, they hurt so much."
She rolled up her sleeve to show Adam the bruises on her arm.
Adam said with surprise, "That serious? Does it hurt? You've really been wronged."
His few perfunctory words still made Vivian beam with joy, not knowing that Adam was thinking angrily, "This Emily, how long is she going to keep throwing this tantrum! It's been so long and she still hasn't come back!"
"By the way, you just said Emily went to the racetrack too? She left me, so where did she get the money to play at such an expensive place? And she's just a girl from an ordinary family—how could she know how to race? When did she learn that? How come I don't know about it?"
Adam came back to his senses, then frowned in confusion.
Vivian's eyes rolled, then she complained, "What other reason could there be? She must have found some rich sugar daddy!"
"She wouldn't dare! I'm going to ask her right now!" Adam was furious and stormed off angrily.
