Chapter 39 Thirty nine
"You don't have to worry, I am fine now." He said this while standing, he looked strong again, and his face was no longer looking pale.
 "Every Lycan recovers very quickly. Though I was shot by a silver bullet, I was not hit in an important area. The bullet went through into my arm, it did not hit any important spot."
 "I still feel worried about you..." I stare at him sincerely.
 "OK if you insist I'll see the doctor, once we leave here." Immediately we stood up and set out to leave the cave to the nearest hospital in the forest.
 Thank God the prince did not try to talk about what happened last night. I thought he would not remember because he was unconscious when everything happened last night.
 I am sure he would have never done what he did if he wasn't conscious. Since he didn't know and can't figure out what happened I think it's best I keep my mouth shut.
 As time went on, we were back to our normal way, we stopped acting weird towards each other.
 
 Thomas's POV:
 When I woke up this morning in the cave, I was shocked when I saw Brenda naked on my arm.
 I wasn't sure of what really happened yesterday until she tried to explain it to me.
 I hope I didn't try to do anything stupid to her last night. Ever since I got closer to her these past few days, I realized my feelings for her had become irresistible.
 I was trying really hard to remember what happened last night, but all that flashed through my mind was an intimate moment with her.
 I could remember her sexy body clearly, this got me even more confused. Although Brenda hasn't said anything about what happened last night.
 I don't want to ask her about it so she doesn't feel embarrassed. Since she requested I visit the hospital, we decided to head over to the hospital in the Red Sun Pack territory. Though I knew I was in a perfect condition.
 And I knew there was no need for any sort of check-up; but when I realized how worried she looked, I couldn't refuse her plea.
 Brenda still looked worried until the doctor confirmed I was perfectly okay.
 "I am happy you are perfectly okay now." She said to me with a smile. Her eyes were so beautiful and wide.
 "I would love to stroll around, will you join me?" I asked her with a smile.
 "We can also observe everything around the pack, as we walk by."
 Brenda stared at me surprised for a while before she finally agreed happily.
 While we were on our way to the hospital earlier I noticed Brenda secretly.
 She was looking at everything and everyone was surprised and excited. She was obviously astonished by everything around her.
 I knew she struggled a lot to survive in the Dark Five Pack.
 She had been looking around excitedly as if she was fascinated by the bustling street.
 I am sure she never got the chance to experience such a beautiful experience of happily wandering around the streets.
 I wished to give her that piece of happiness that she has missed.
 "Can we leave now?" I held her hands immediately and we both walked out of the hospital together.
 I grabbed her hand and led her out of the hospital and into the busy street. Brenda was staring for a while before she finally fixed her fingers to mine
 She moved with caution and very careful, with some traces of normal female shyness. When I turned sideways and noticed the flush on her beautiful face, I wasn't able to stop myself from smiling.
 "You are yearning to be with her," Chad said out immediately.
 "Thomas it's high time you stopped deceiving yourself, you are in love with her already, and it's time you accept her as your mate, stop overthinking.
 "Will you just shut up please," I said nervously.
 "I hate it when you spit nonsense," I added.
 "Stop fooling yourself." Chad snapped.
 "Are you not feeling the urge to kiss her? Don't you yearn to make love to her? Don't you desire her badly, remember what you did to her last night!" I was shocked upon hearing this.
 "Did I do anything to her last night?" I ask my wolf, still looking confused.
 I cannot remember anything from last night.
 "I was also unconscious after you got shot, but this morning I saw myself naked with her alone in the cave. You should think carefully about what happened.
 " Keep quiet!" I could not listen to Chad anymore, so I stopped him from accessing my mind.
 I cannot recollect the number of times I have shut Chad out of my mind since I met Brenda.
 It's all thanks to Hand I have not started creating ideas of what happened yesterday in my head. I was finally able to suppress my thought
 While holding Brenda's hand we watched the fun things going on in the street as we passed by.
 The shops were lined with shops selling a lot of beautiful things like little trinkets.
 I looked at all the passers-by and noticed they were all putting on a pair. I was amused at the sight of this.
 Just then I realized it's valentine's day today. I looked at Brenda who was busy staring at the shop windows with an obvious yearning in her eyes.
 The shop on the right side of the street was a flower shop. When we walked by, the shop owner stopped me immediately.
 "Sir, you and this Lady beside you look perfect together, it's Valentine's day today, I think you should get her a flower to brighten her day." Brenda smiled In a very awkward way.
 "Please we are not." She was trying to explain when I interrupted.
 "It's fine, I'll take one," I said to the shop owner immediately. The owner of the shop happily brought out a beautiful flower and handed it over to us.
 Brenda did not stop staring at me, I am sure she was wondering why I stopped her from telling the shop owner the truth.
 I watched all other couples that passed by their female mate holding a flower so I just thought it'll be fair for Brenda to also hold hers because she deserved it and even more.
 Seeing how happy she was holding the flowers made me want to get her more. Just when we were about to leave again the shop owner stopped us.
 "I have a very beautiful set of roses, to suit you mate, I know you already selected a flower but they don't suit this beautiful beside you." Brenda smiled upon hearing what the shop owner said.
 "Look carefully and select one." We looked at the flowers carefully and realized even some roses were carefully picked and packaged.
 They would definitely suit Brenda perfectly.
 "I'll go with these," I said to the shop owner as I picked a bunch of red roses.
 Then I asked for their price and I paid the amount immediately.
 "Sir, I pray to the Mother Goddess that you and your lady will stay together forever happily." The shop owner said to both of us with a smile.
 I tried to smile upon hearing what the shop owner said. I handed the bouquet of flowers over to Brenda carefully.
 Brenda looked at the flower carefully and slowly, she was happy I got her such an important and expensive flower. She lowered her head and inhaled the fragrance of the flower.
 "I really appreciate your kind gestures towards me, Mr.Taylor." She said to me with a warm smile. She was blushing so much that it became obvious. Her face was turning red.
 "I coughed and decided to explain, " I bought you these flowers for you because I noticed every other woman passing by was holding a flower, it'll look rather pitiful if you are the only lady passing by without a flower with you.
 "You don't have to explain to me Mr. Taylor, I just want you to know I appreciate this," Brenda said with a playful smile on her face
 "I like roses, they are very beautiful, just like you." I was not able to stop the words from rushing out of my mouth.
 "What do you say?" It looks like Brenda didn't hear what I just said.
 "I didn't say anything," I said immediately.
 "Let's go." I followed him with the flowers I held with me. The both of us walked down the busy street.
 She looked really happy as though today was the happiest day in her life.
 It's valentine's day today, so every werewolf is packed around the street to have unlimited fun.
 While we were walking a she-wolf bumped into Brenda which almost made her trip, I held her on her waist so she don't fall hard on the floor. The she-wolf apologized immediately and left.
 Immediately the she-wolf walked away, I queried Brenda for not being careful, "why are you so clumsy? What injured you?"
 "I don't think I can fall with you by my side." She replied with a bright smile.
 "Don't be so stupid to not watch your steps carefully," I said, sounding worried.
 I glared at her and wrapped my arms around her waist, using this opportunity to hold her tight.
 "It's better I hold you tighter so you don't fall down," I said holding her tight by her waist, she stare at my hand for a moment before looking away
 "You are so kind Mr. Taylor, Thank you," Brenda said without protesting.
 She looked down and inhaled the fragrance of the flower again, then she smiled.
 Looking at how beautiful and cute she looked made my heart skip.
 We walked further down the street, while I was still holding Brenda around her waist.
 I would stare at her every minute to notice her beauty, even clearly.
 We both watched other couples walk past every now and then.
 I suddenly felt a deep joy from the deepest part of my heart. For the first time, I felt genuinely happy. Simple and plain I thought to myself.
 We walked past a dessert shop, where I found Brenda staring at a strawberry cake that was displayed.
 "Would you mind if we have a dessert?" I asked.
 "Yes, it's fine," I replied immediately.
 Brenda was really happy and she almost jumped to give me a hug.
 While my arm was still around her waist, we walked into a dessert shop and requested a strawberry cake.
