CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
The sight in front of me frightened me. It was Sebastian. What have I done? He stood there staring with a fiery red eye while his brother was laughing. I was a fool. I had fallen for the temptation of the devil. What was really wrong with me? was I really under a spell or my mind fell for him, because of the beauty I saw. I was disturbed and my body couldn’t withstand the way he was staring at me as tears streamed down my cheeks. He turned back and moved towards his car, I ran towards him while staring at me.
“Sebastian, please listen to me. I can explain it’s not actually what you think.” I held him pleading but he wasn’t listening to me and he was bent on getting far away from me but I couldn’t allow him to do that . I wanted him to listen to me and see things from my perspective. I really didn’t know what was happening with me and nobody was telling me anything. His aura was inviting and I was really sorry but he had to listen to me for me to explain.
“Please, please Sebastian give me a chance to explain.” I begged crying, what do I do to make him listen to me. I desperately needed help but no one was offering help, and for the first time since I met Sebastian, I felt so helpless, what do I do now? Is this how everything ends? Is this really the end? Or I still had time for redemption. I really needed it but, why was everything this wrong? I knew I was wrong but at least he should give me a chance to explain.
I was forced to go to the extreme. “Sebastian if you won’t listen to me, I’d kill myself.” I said as a means of threatening him but I really had no life apart from the life with him so all I wanted was for it all to end. I wanted him back and I would do anything to have him forgive me. But he turned deaf ears to all my pleas I needed to show him, I looked around with tears streaming down my cheeks. I really needed something dangerous to use. I saw a sharp nail on the floor and as he was about to enter his car I shouted, “Sebastian if you leave, I’ll puncture my throat with this nail, I swear I’d do it. If you don’t come back here. I’ll kill myself and you’ll be at fault for ending my life.” I really wanted to do it everything I felt was gone, I wasn’t scared, Sebastian was the one who had saved me from the glimpse of despair of my old life and here I am being an ungrateful bitch, I really hated to admit it but I know how he felt, he had been genuine towards me and has protected me with every ounce of strength he had left, I had betrayed him and I had no reason to as for forgiveness but, I had to I will do anything for him to forgive me. I loved him and everything was just a plain mistake, and I wanted to clear it I was plainly out of my mind and I knew it was hard to believe I felt like I was under a spell but now it was difficult to explain and I had no evidence all I had was this nail and I would use it if he doesn’t accent to my requests.
“You think I don’t mean it?” I said as I made a mark on my arm with the nail and blood started flowing down my arms. This time for the first time in minutes his steps froze and he turned around to look at me. He widened his gaze and moved briskly towards me, as his enraged look turned into one of compassion. “I’m really sorry, everything happened so fast that I didn’t even know what was going on, please Sebastian forgive me I’d do anything for you to forgive me.” I said crying, while he tended to my wounds without uttering a word. He tore a part of his clothes and tied it on the wound and wanted to take the nail away from me but I didn’t allow him to. “If you don’t tell me you’ve forgiven me, I won’t let go of the nail and I would really use it to kill myself if you don’t. Sebastian please I really love you and you know that, this is really a mistake and misunderstanding I really didn’t know what I was doing it was as if I was under a spell I really shouldn’t have please forgive me. You’re the only one I want, nothing more and nothing else, just you. Please give me a chance to redeem myself. I would really love to do anything you want, just please forgive me.” I said, as I tried to let him know what I really wanted but he looked into my face. “Do you really know the effect of what you did? The consequence of everything? The damage you’ve caused? You know nothing and everything was a mistake. You kissed him and it got intense to that level, and it was a mistake? You really weren’t listening to yourself while you were speaking were you? Do you think everything ends with a simple apology? If only you knew what it means you wouldn’t be standing where you are? Do you even know who Alexander was and here you are? You fell in his traps and now you want me back? After I did a week’s assignment in just a matter of hours just to get back to you, but I met you in a dreadful act? You really want me to believe nothing happened with the way he held you; you must be a comedian, the biggest one. And here is your audience, he said as he turned back to leave.
