Chapter 16
Chapter 16
Shola takes the two men to the mountain where Amina and her fell. And here she will make the mayor feel what he did to her family in the past. She will make sure that he regrets what he did to her family. It was not difficult for her to get the father and son into the jungle with the help of the mask.
Shola was leaning against the tree, waiting for the father and son to wake up.
The mayor is about to wake up at dawn. His son seems to be sleeping well.
"Hmmm!" The mayor grunted and moved his body, but he couldn't move it. Because of the tight binding on the cliff. He immediately opened his eyes and looked at himself with wide eyes. "Who whore! Who did this who?" he screamed loudly.
Shola immediately stood up and approached him, saying, Good morning, Mayor. It's good that you're awake now."
"You are crazy and an animal woman! What did you do to me and where is my son? And who are you?" He asked one after the other.
"Am I an animal?" Shola even taught herself.
"Who else is it? You let me go!" he struggles.
"Yes, don't worry, I will let you go, you and your son, but let's play for a while first, Mayor."
"You are a demon woman; it suits you with your red mask!"
Shola nodded at what she heard from him:Animal, demon, what else do you want to call me? But for me, doesn't that word suit you better, Mayor?"
"What? Who are you?"
"Do you still remember this place, Mayor? What do you remember about here?"
The mayor knew what she meant. "No-no!" he denied it.
"Liar! A liar goes to hell. Isn't that a saying, Mayor?"
"That's just for kids. A scarecrow."
"You're wrong, Mayor. I can prove it to you."
"You prove what?"
"I will prove to you that you're a big, old liar!"
"Crazy! Get me out of here!" he shouted.
Shola shook her head. If I don't want to, what will you do?"
"I will kill you!"
"Like what you did to the Monticello family, huh, Mayor?"
The mayor was stunned by what Shola said. And he stared at the woman. Even if its face is not visible. Only one thing entered his mind: that it was Monticello blood.
"Why do you look at me like that, Mayor? Do you remember anything?"
"You are the youngest daughter of Leiden Monticello?" automatically came out of his mouth.
"Are you sure, Mayor?"
"No, because I knew she was dead because she fell into that cliff." He looked at the specified cliff.
"Oh, your memory is still sharp, Mayor. So, this is where you shot Amina along with the youngest daughter of the Monticellos, am I right?"
"What? How did you know what happened before? You were just a baby then. If you're a Monticello, how did you survive?"
"Mayor, it is not yet time that I become an angel. How did I know? I can see it in your eyes, Mayor. Didn't you say before you killed the Monticello girls that you wanted to take advantage of them first?"
The mayor was shocked by what he heard. "You are a demon!"
"I am not a demon, Mayor. I am an angel."
"Crazy you! Where is my son?"
"Oh, don't worry about him. He's still alive. I'm not going to kill him without you seeing, because I want you to feel the pain of losing a loved one!"
"Where is my son?" he asked again.
"You're too noisy, Mayor. Okay, I'll show him to you."
Shola looked at his son, who was tied to a tree, and he woke up.
"Dad, what's going on?"
"Dad, what's going on? Shola repeated what the man said. Why don't you tell your son, Mayor?" Shola tied the man and brought him in front of the Mayor.
"You're a shameless woman! You're the opposite of what you look like!"
"I'm not a bad person, Mayor; it's just starting now. You see your father; what do you think of him? Is he a good father? Or, does he have horns?" Shola turned to his son.
"My dad is a good father."
"Really, huh? Oh, of course he will. You saw his good side; he's a good father inside, but he's worse than an animal."
"You're wrong!"
"Release my son!"
"What did Leiden Monticello tell you? Don't hurt my children, right? Let them go. But what did you do?" He shouted angrily. She first calmed him down because he was shaking with anger.
"Dad, what is he talking about?"
"Don't mind her son; she's a crazy bitch!"
"You're right, Mayor. Crazy. What does a crazy person do that kills someone, right? Because she's crazy. He or she doesn't know what he's doing, right?"
"You crazy woman! Get out of me here; I make sure you're following your family; they're waiting for you!"
Shola took the sharp knife on her thigh and said, Enough chatter, time for us to play!"
"Don't touch my son; I'll kill you when I get out of here!" he struggles.
"Do it, but for now just relax there and watch me!" Shola put the knife on the mayor's son's neck.
"Da-daddy!" He was so scared that he had already peed his pants.
"Have mercy; don't do that to my son!"
"Wow, you're begging for mercy now, Mayor. Didn't Leiden and Clara also tell you that word? Did you listen? No, right?!" Shola pressed the knife on his neck, and the blood flowed.
"Ahhh! Da-daddy!" he shouted.
"You're a beast! You're an animal!" The strength was poured out to untie the rope tied to the hand.
"Yes, I am an animal now!" Shola grabbed his neck at the same time. At that moment, he felt no remorse. And she felt as if the mask loved what it was doing as it tightened around her face.
The mayor can clearly see the son's blood and hissing. "My son!" With a loud cry, the veins in his body wanted to break free from the bondage.
It seemed that all kinds of animals were together at that time, but none of them were moved by the mayor's shout.
"What, Mayor? How do you feel? Does it hurt?" Shola again pointed the knife at the mayor's son in his chest.
"Ahhh!" The mayor's eyes struggled as he looked at Shola.
"Are you angry with me, Mayor? We can increase your feelings." Shola plunged the knife right into his son's heart. She pulled it out, and the blood spurted.
"I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill you! Ahhhhhh!" The mayor's anger was going to burst.
"If you can, but sad to say you will follow your son to hell, all I can say is, Mayor, say hello to the president of evil!" Shola approached the Mayor.
"Get away from me, you evil!" he was suddenly afraid.
"I can't prolong your life for you to catch up with that son, Mayor."
"Please don't kill me. What do you want me to give you? Money? One million? Ten million? Tell me if it's not enough," he offered.
Shola laughed loudly. "I don't need your money, Mayor. I also have money my parents left for me. Your life is not enough to pay for what you and Fernan Morale did to my family!"
"Wait, yes, Fernan, the one with all the orders, I just follow him. Because if I don't follow him, he will kill us."
"You are washing away your guilt. But it cannot be changed that you killed my sister. My brother." Her eyes flashed with anger! "This is for them." The knife hit right in the mayor's heart.
"Yo... yo..."
"What do you say, Mayor?" Shola pressed the knife harder on his chest.
It's already whining."Not enough!" She pulled out the knife from the mayor's heart. My brother and sister, I know you have been suffering for a long time now. You should be in peace." She wiped the blood from her hand using her red clothes as well as her face. And the knife returned it to her thigh. She looked at the two dead bodies.
Shola waited for the night to fall so that no one in the town would be able to see her. The bodies of the father and son were returned to the car, which was brought right in front of Fernan Morale's house.
"You will be the first to know that they're dead because you will be the last to line up with them," Shola said, looking at the Morales' house.
MEANWHILE.
This morning, Alexis was looking for Shola. He went around all over Morale town, but he didn't find her. He also went to the Monticello mansion, but it was not there either. "Shola, where did you go?" He was in front of the mansion thinking that the girl might be back, but he didn't think she looked at the time on the clock; it was twelve o'clock.
When Shola came home, she passed by a cloth that was hanging and took it. "I'll borrow it first, and I'll return it too." She said she saw a bucket with water, washed her hand, took the knife from the thigh, and washed it too. Since the night is quiet, it seems to agree with Shola that you won't hear any noise from the various animals around.
When Shola removed the mask, she felt extreme fatigue. And she was getting weaker. She still insisted on changing the clothes she was wearing. Shola threw the red dress in the trash as well as her heels, and she walked home to the mansion with bare feet.
"Shola?" when Alexis saw the girl. He quickly got out of the car."Shola," he said again.
"A-Alexis!" she slowly uttered his name. She feels that her body is about to give up, and her eyes are getting blurry. And her vision seemed to be spinning.
Alexis ran towards Shola.
Before her vision went dark, Shola felt an arm grab her. She knew she was safe in his arms.
