3 special invitations

Helena:

It was a few days before the wedding,most of the invitations I delivered,but three in particular I left to deliver by hand and here I was,in my fiancé's expensive car,with our chauffeur taking me to the studio where a short time ago I had been kicked out because of Victor,who betrayed us,cheated us and in the end still came out as the right one in the story.

I was stuck in countless thoughts that I only realize we have arrived when the driver honks at a man who parked the wrong way.

"Did you buy your wallet you idiot?!" - he yells at the man.

The man says some offensive words,gets in his car and pulls out of the spot,then the driver walks over to the spot and parks.

"We have arrived ma'am and I apologize for overreacting to the man,I..."

"All right,you can rest assured. Well,I'm going in there and I'll be right out."

"Yes ma'am."

I enter the studio and go after Olivia and Augusto first,I talk to everyone who was working there,until I find Olivia arguing with the boss

"Am I in the way?"

I question fearfully,she was irritated and he was embarrassed,but they soon smile.

"Our Helena,how changed,beautiful" - Augusto says hugging me tightly.

"Thank you."

I smile and as soon as he lets go,it's Olivia's turn,who also hugs me tightly.

"You look beautiful,sit down."

I sit down and they stare at me.

"What are you doing here in our humble studio?"

"Stop being rude Augusto!" - She scolds him.

"I just want to know, she hasn't been here since the incident and dismissal.

"No fights,I didn't think you were rude and about my coming,I came all the way here to give you my wedding invitation!".

I smile happily and hold out the invitations,but they look at me blankly.

"Who's the lucky guy?" - Augustus asks.

"Matew."

"Helena..." - He sighs ",don't tell me you really agreed to marry him?"

"Yes,we are very well and happy if that is your biggest concern."

"Nothing against you two together,but you know how the media is,they will tear you apart darling."

"I know,but I decided to take a chance,he offered me affection,fidelity,love,security in all areas,there is no better man to be together with."

"I know...but I worry about you."

"I know and thanks for the concern,but there are people who deserve it more."

"How?"

"Olivia,she needs you to care about her."

"Don't involve me in your discussion." - Says the same one seriously.

"Isn't that right?

"No Helena,I can take care of myself. And about your wedding,I will love to go,I really hope you will be very happy,being next to Matew or someone else,you know I like you very much and I always wish you the best."

"I know friend."

I smile happily hugging her again.

"And look,whatever you need,whatever it is,you can talk to me,I am here to help you."

"Thanks, now I need to talk to Larissa, do you know where she is?"

"In her room, you can go there and I'll call you."

"Okay, thank you."

I smile,hug and kiss them both on the cheek and so I'm off,get into the elevator and when I get off at her office floor,I get out and walk to the big wooden door of good quality,knock a few times and get the release I needed to enter.

I enter the room and lean against the door,I approach her desk and she stared at me unblinking.

"Hi Larissa,how are you?"

"Hi Helena, I'm great and you?"

"Fine too."

"You're really pregnant,congratulations."

"Thank you.

"Have you finally come to accept my proposal?"

"I have a question, has your sister allowed me to return to your company?

"We talked about you,she had been following you and seeing the bulge in your belly,she decided that she should get a job to keep the child,as much as she was sure that you would give the baby to her,she wanted you to be able to take care of it,until the day came that she was ready to give it away."

"I have already told Victor that I will not give my baby to him or anyone else,she will be mine alone. I also don't want to return to the studio,I realized that my work,dedication and friendship were never anything to you,you let your sister send one of your employees away,you didn't dispute it with her."

"Then what are you doing here if you don't want to come back?"

"I came to bring you my wedding invitation, I hope you will come."

I put the envelope on her desk, she takes it, analyzes it and opens it, reads it and then looks at me in disbelief.

"Is this serious?"

"What?"

"That you gave up everything to sell yourself to a rich crown?

"I didn't sell out,he does like me,respects me,wants me well,wants to take care of my daughter together with me,I don't need to wait for anything or anyone else,not even wait to be fooled again."

"Let him be happy,but this relationship will not work out and not last long,I know Matew,always with lovers in various places,he is not a sincere guy and much less faithful."

"Wait and see how well we will work out and how happy we will be." - Smiling "I hope to see you at my wedding,don't miss Larissa."

"I will go,to schedule how many days you last together and when that happens,you can come back to work here,I take you back."

She smiles debauched,then I leave her room and go to the car and there my countenance now was sad,I really thought she was my friend and was on my side,but apparently she wanted me as her shadow and since I don't want to live under her shadow and submission anymore,she throws negative words about my marriage,besides lies,there was no way Matew could fool me,the lie always comes out and so far I haven't found out anything bad about him,besides all the stories he told me.

"Everything ok ma'am?" - Questions the driver analyzing me and soon starting up.

"Yes, just disappointments as always, but that's part of it, not all the feelings we have for someone will be reciprocated.

"True...the bad part is that we always find that out the hard way."

"Exactly,but that's fine,better to find out the hard way,than to be fooled all your life."

He just agrees with his head and so we went on our way home,of course on the whole route we had to stop a little,I smelled hot dogs and wanted to eat it,so we went to the place where a man was selling and we bought it,I ate two and I was super satisfied,I ended up getting my clothes almost all dirty,but it was worth it.

Finally we went home,I arrived,took a shower,packed up a few things,put my clothes in the wash,had dinner at night,talked to Matew about my day ( as usual ) and then went to bed.
