Chapter 32

“Is he i-insane??” Jason stuttered as he turned back to see the gigantic figure walking in.

Williams jaw dropped as he saw Edith walking inside the throne’s room. His white hair he had packed in a bun, leaving a few strands on each side of his face. His blue orbs, glittering as the sun penetrated the roof glass of the courtroom.

Sienna snarled as she saw Edith walking in with a domineering aura.

“He is the killer!!”

“A dreaded beast in human form.” Another werewolf scoffed as Edith approached the throne.

“I am his killer, yes and I take full responsibility to become a temporary administrator.” He said in a low tone now, which still held so much power.

“He can’t be, who knows what mischievous plan he has again. We can’t allow a beast in our pack!!” Sienna growled as her wolf growled in full aggression.

“I think she has a valid point there, Alpha!!” One of the court officials supported Sienna, who was already crying.

The whole room was filled with murmurings as they were all contemplating whether Edith should be granted his request to serve the pack as a temporary administrator.

Edith stood tall and firm as he looked at the king’s throne, which was made of gold, and he could hear the indistinct chattering of everyone in the courtroom.

He glanced around the courtroom as he was impatiently looking for Alpha. Lawrence’s two sons. Chloe had drifted to a deep sleep again on his thighs the previous night when she was telling him about Stark and Noah.

He finally saw them as they were having a chit-chat. He followed their eyes as he knew who they were talking about. They were probably lusting over a pretty werewolf girl. “Pathetic souls!!” He sneered as he looked away, and the next person his eyes met was that of Luna. Lily, who was just quiet all through.

Her eyes were heavy, and he could tell that she had so many secrets she was holding back. He scoffed as he rested his eyes back on Alpha. Jasper Maximus, who was quiet and staring at everyone present.

“Supreme Alpha. Jasper Maximus!!” His growl silenced the noisy crowd as everyone kept quiet to listen to what he had to say.

“I am said to be his killer, and I am ready to take full responsibility until my time of service is no longer needed.” He muffled as he fixed his eyes on Alpha. Maximus.

“It was a hand-to-hand combat and the deceased was asked to reconsider, but he was reluctant until the last and if my uncle, Edith Ellsworth, wants to take a full responsibility, then I think he is right as he will not just prove that he is innocent of each of the accusations made against him, but he will prove to every one of his meek nature and ever since my elder sister-in-law, Chloe Parker came into his life, he has been a changed person.” Williams spoke with so much confidence that even King. Jasper Maximus failed to know when he was nodding his head in favor of Williams little speech.

Allen Ellsworth smiled briefly as he looked at his son, Williams. “I have always known that you will make a great vampire king when I am no more!!” He mumbled within as he looked at the entire room and everyone was completely quiet.

The only noise that could be heard was the sobbing of Sienna.

Jason Ellsworth was completely calm as he knew the whole judgment was going to end in the favor of his uncle, Edith Ellsworth. The hall soon became vacant as Edith Ellsworth was made the temporary administrator of the Silver Moon Pack.

“Don’t you think that was a wrong decision made by Alpha. Jasper? How could he trust a man like Edith Ellsworth? All I have heard about him, none was good. He is nothing but a beast, and that was why he lost his throne to his younger brother, Allen.” Lily scoffed as she crashed down on the sofa chair in their bedroom.

“Why would you volunteer to become a temporary administrator??” Chloe groaned as Edith stepped out of the bedroom with his luggage.

He said nothing to her as he stood the luggage up, and he wrapped her waist with his firm hands. He patted her back and kissed her forehead. “You have nothing to worry about!!” He muttered. “Jason, Williams and Freya are all here to watch over you and I will always be here whenever you need me!!” He smirked, biting his lower lip and dragging her closer to his chest.

Lulu grumbled, as all she ever craved was more intimacy with Edith. She couldn’t spend a day without him by her side and today, everything was going to change a little and all she got from him was a constant reminder that everything he was doing was for her.

She shrugged as she bit his right chest as he chuckled softly.

“I will still be here to go get every grocery you need. Do your shopping and listen to your bedtime stories and play different instruments for you, moonie!!” He said in a low tone as he lowered his head as his lips reached for hers as they intimately kissed.

This beautiful moment was cut short by the honking of his newly gifted Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.

“It’s time to go. I will see you soon, moonie!!” He pecked her twice before walking out with his luggage.

He could hear her wolf whining but the he had a secret motive, and he was going to proceed.

Was he all obsessed with being with Chloe Parker, his second chance mate??

He smirked as he paused at the front of the car door. He could see Chloe’s reflection from the car’s reflection.

“Expect shocking news soon.” He smirked as he entered the back seat of the car and the driver zoomed off immediately.
