Chapter 123

Ryan's POV

It was the beginning of the end. I watched how everyone gathered and how they took turns in entering the portal my mate and Elsa were creating. Tasha had grown so much she wasn't the woman i met some years back. She was different it was surprising and shocking that she could now beat me in a duel but her humility was something I couldn't describe.

"Ryan?" Tasha's call disrupted my thoughts.

It was our turn to go through the portal, according to them it would take us to Emrys town where the dark one was.

"Take care of my son Susan." Tasha told Susan who was carrying Jayden.

It was more like an order.

"I will my Luna." She gave a slight bow.

We waved at Jayden who in turn waved back at us, I held Tasha's hand and we walked up to Elsa who was now creating the portal for us. I felt awkward leaving Jayden and I was scared and prayed that we don't lose this war because of the poor boy.

"What's wrong?" I glanced at Tasha when I felt her anxiety.

"I'm winning this fight and coming back to take care of my son." Her face held so much determination.

I sighed and took her hands tightly as we leaped into the portal, there was a tingling sensation and a huge breeze blew as we journeyed. A huge force pushed us out, we fell to the ground, I helped Tasha to her feet Elsa and Connor came through the portal after us and the portal was closed.

"What the-" Tasha gasped when she saw that it was dark already.

It was day when we journeyed and now it was dark already, who knows how many hours it has been. The noise and shout of the rest disturbed us from our keen observation making us run to where the noise was coming from.

"What is going on!" Elsa said in a panic voice.

Those who had gone before us were now fighting with a huge beast. I couldn't put a name on the animal. They were a lot of them, they were creeping animals with huge body frames and their tails swung around killing most of Elsa's coven members.

Elsa marched angrily to Tasha and pulled her by the collar making me growl at her and was about to snap her neck but stopped because Tasha told me to.

"Did you give anyone your blood!" She screamed at Tasha in anger.

Her voice alerted one of the animals and it charged at us with full speed, I let my claws out as I targeted to tear its limb if it came close.

"SHELE!!" Tasha yelled, her hands lifted in the air.

A barricade formed shielding the four of us from the animal, it touched the shield and got burnt. I looked through the barricade and saw that Liam, Dante and the rest were not really holding up.

"I didn't give my blood to anyone! Gabriel took it by force when he kidnapped me!" Tasha fired back, her hands were still up as she tried to keep the shield back.

Elsa blinked a couple of times before stepping forward to help Tasha hold the shield in place, her hands were in the air just like Tasha's hands were.

"Then Gabriel must have been involved with the dark one, he used your blood to make these creatures." Elsa told Tasha and we gasped.

"My…blood?" She murmured.

"You need to lift this up, they need help!" Connor said quickly as he pointed outside.

One of the animals had managed to trap Lisa and his claws had scratched her leg. I growled loudly, Tasha and Elsa immediately let the shield down.

I immediately sped away charging forcefully at the animal, I used my claws to stab it in the eye, it stepped back whimpering loudly.

"Took you long enough." Lisa said spitefully when I helped her up.

"What do you mean? We just got here." I held her hand and we ran to the other side where Tasha was.

"We've been here for days Ryan!" She said angrily.

"What are you talking about, we all just got here today." Elsa replied to her.

"Forget it, something must be wrong with the timing of your portal but we've been here for days and we have been fighting these since." Lisa answered.

My eyes roamed around her body and it really felt like she had really been fighting for days, her face was stained with blood, her cloth torn.

"Can someone please explain what is happening!" I faced Elsa and Tasha.

"Now is not the time to fight…we just need to find a way to end all this shit!" Lisa said as she held her head.

"We've seen the dark one," Lisa said suddenly.

"What!" Tasha walked up to her.

"Who is he?" Tasha asked and Lisa paused.

"I don't know him, I have never seen him before but that isn't what is Important, everything is a trap Tasha!" Lisa said in a panic tone.

"I don't understand!" Tasha shook Lisa's shoulder.

"There have been transporting Golgothas out of here through the portal." Lisa answered.

"Golgothas?" I wasn't really following.

"Yes…the name of these creatures." Lisa answered me before turning to Tasha.

"I think the whole world will be filled with them soon if we don't stop them now." She added.

"Them?" Connor asked.

"The dark one is working with an old woman, they are on the other side of this place. They left a message that Tasha should make her decision wisely."

I felt a sudden wave of anger, my fist were clenched. The anxiety that the Golgothas were now in my pack got to me, Dante and Xavier ran to where we were. Dante pulled Lisa into his embrace while Xavier hugged me and I frowned at the stench of blood oozing from him.

"I'm glad you are here but we've got to go!" Xavier pulled away from me and addressed us.

"To where?" Connor asked.
