I
Lexus walked to the training field together with Daffodil. When they reached the training area, everyone inside suddenly fell silent as if an angel just passed by. They all looked at Daffodil, who for the first time will be joining them in their training.
Trixie was surprised too. She was already at the training ground when Lexus and Daffodil came. She waved her right hand at Lexus and Daffodil and then ran toward them.
“Hello Lex, Hi Daff. Daff, it is good that you will be joining the training today,” she said while catching her breath. Daffodil and Trixie were on good terms already from the time that Daffodil almost publicly rejected Drew and declared Lexus as her mate. Trixie knew by then that Daffodil was not someone, she should be jealous of when it comes to Drew, and most of all, she was not a woman she can afford to mess with.
Daffodil smiled at Trixie. “Hi, Trixie. I just realized I need to know how to fight too, and of course, this will be a good workout too, to lessen weight.”
“Exactly,” Trixie agreed.
“Then let us start the training now.” It was Lexus who intercepted and walked toward the center of the training field while holding Daffodil’s hand. Trixie followed, and so with the other trainees who were there already.
Lexus personally trained Daffodil the whole time. It was an hour of one on one training. Thereafter, Lexus joined the group in their sparring training and let Daffodil rest for a while.
She watched as Lexus had a sparring with one of the pack’s fighters, and was amazed to see how Lexus beat him so easily. Indeed, Lexus is a great fighter and would definitely be a good Alpha soon. She smiled warmly while admiring her fiancee.
They trained for another hour before Lexus finally call it a day and they all left the training ground. Daffodil felt tired but satisfied with how her morning went by.
“Tired, Babe?” Lexus asked her as they reached the door of her room.
She nodded but with a bright smile lacing her face. “Yes, I am tired, Lex, but it is worth it. I learned a lot today. Thank you, my love.”
“Good. Tomorrow, if you like to join the training again, just let me know, alright, Babe?”
“Yap.”
“I need to go now, otherwise, I might not be able to control myself and break our agreement,” Lexus, stated while grinning mischievously. He cupped her face and planted his lips on her lips gently but broke the kiss abruptly and went away with a hurried act. Daffodil followed his back with her gaze, a smile forming on her lips.
With such a smile still lingering on her lips, Daffodil closed her door and walked toward her bed.
She sat on the bed for a while to rest and relax her muscles before she went to the shower room and enjoyed in the bathtub with warm water for a while. With the comfort of the warm water, she felt her muscles relax even more and her tiredness lessen. She took a shower after almost half an hour in the bath tub and dried her hair while still in her bathrobe.
After changing into comfortable clothes, she laid her body on the body without actually the intention to sleep but to finish reading her book. Nonetheless, sleep caught her unguarded, and in just a few moments, her book was already lying on the bed and she was sleeping peacefully.

“Lex, is Drew still occupying his former room in the packhouse?” It was Trixie who asked when she met Lexus in the living room. In her mind, Trixie planned to speak with Drew and if she needs to reject him now so that she could move on with her life, she will do it.
Lexus looked at Trixie as if guessing what was in her mind. “If you are going to speak with him Trixie, I can arrange that outside of his room. Unless you wanted to really speak with him inside his room,” he then replied thereafter.
Immediately, Trixie’s face grew hot after understanding the meaning of Lexus’ statement. She felt ashamed and at the same time offended by Lexus’ words. She shook her head and shot Lexus with a hurt expression. “I intend to reject him and not to seduce him,” she firmly said, which caused much surprise to Lexus.
“Reject?”
“Yes. I wanted to reject him as early as now, Lexus. I don’t want to feel the pain anymore of having him as my mate. I want to move on with my life and hopefully find a second chance mate, who will accept me.” Trixie looked into Lexus’ eyes directly without batting. She was serious in her words and she wanted to reject Lexus, soonest.
“I suggest, you talk to him first, heart to heart, and if your decision to reject him still persists in your heart and mind, then do it, Trixie.”
Trixie nodded and looked at Lexus with confidence. Drew cannot hurt her again. “Not anymore Drew, not anymore,” she thought.
“You can come to my office tomorrow. I will invite Drew to come too, then I will leave you there to talk,” Lexus suggested to which Trixie readily agreed.
“That would be fine with me, Lexus. Just let me know what time.”
“At ten in the morning.”
“Alright. I will be there, Lexus.” Her voice was firm, and Lexus could feel the seriousness of Trixie’s plan.
He nodded and smiled then tapped her right shoulder. “See you in the office tomorrow, Trixie, and I hope you will come to a sound decision after you talk.”
“Thank you, Lexus. I will go home now. I wanted to rest. I felt tired from the training. It has been a long time since I did not join in the pack’s training, and it seemed like my bones had been shocked.” She then went ahead after excusing herself from Lexus.
Lexus followed Trixie’s retreating frame with his eyes showing sadness in them.
