Becoming uncomfortable, Daffodil let her lips be sealed and decided to keep her silence for a while. She would glance at Lexus from time to time, 'though.
Lexus parked in front of a resort-type hotel and guided her inside. The hotel might be one of the five-star hotels on the island and she felt touched that Lexus was trying, really trying to make their date a special one.
"Do you like this place, Sweety?" all of a sudden, Lexus asked while glancing at her.
Daffodil nodded with a smile on her lips. "Yeah, I do. This place is elegant and at the same time the ambiance is cool and relaxing." She leaned on his side and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. "Thank you, Lex," she muttered with obvious happiness.
Lexus' wide smile told it all; everything that he felt, his pride, his contentment and, his eagerness to please the woman beside him. "Anything, to make you happy, Daff," he replied thereafter.
Daffodil's smile becomes wider.
They chose a table in the corner. The spot was somewhat secluded and had that air of certain privacy and romantic vibe. Maybe because that man playing the grand piano was just a few steps away from them.
Their dinner ended but it did not occur to Daffodil that it will be the beginning of something more romantic and wonderful.
A man playing a violin, started to play a romantic song, of which the title, Daffodil could not remember. Then the violinist walked and stayed near their table until it was already at its end when Lexus stood up and then slowly kneeled in front of her. Daffodil was so surprised.
Bringing out a red velvet box from his pocket, Lexus cleared his throat and then opened the small velvet box. "Daffodil Marby, I wanted to marry you. Will you marry me?" he asked with a hint of nervousness in his tone. His expression was surreal, as his face lit with redness.
Daffodil's hands immediately covered her mouth as excitement flooded her after her senses held being surprised for a couple of seconds.
Lexus was waiting, with cheeks growing redder.
Slowly, Daffodil extended her hand and then nodded. "Yes, I will marry you, Lexus. You know very well how much I love you," she then said with tears starting to peep at the edges of her eyes.
The violinist continued playing his soulful music while some other guests started to clap their hands.
Lexus put the gold engagement ring with a well-refined cut of a diamond on top. Evidently, the diamond engagement ring is not a cheap one. And, Lexus took pride in putting it around Daffodil's ring finger.
He looked at the ring on her finger and looked up at Daffodil with a warm smile. He then stood up and embrace her. "I love you, Daff," he whispered beside her ear before he gently placed his lips on her for a passionate kiss.
Daffodil welcomed such a kiss of Lexus with openness and without regard if some other people were watching them. All she could think of was, that the man kissing her was hers. "Mine," she whispered back.
"You are mine too, mine alone," Lexus said after their kiss ended. His face was flush and his eyes shone so brightly. Everyone could tell by a mere look that Lexus' heart has been totally smitten by the woman he was embracing and the same observation could also be seen in the woman.
"I love you so much, Lexus, no matter if you are a Beta or an Alpha."

Hearing the assurance in Daffodil’s voice, Lexus' doubts melted in an instant. He kissed her again and thereafter he wrapped his arm around his shoulders. He whispered something to her.
After paying their bill, Lexus has another surprise for Daffodil. He has a suite reservation in the hotel. That was what he whispered to Daffodil, who outright turned her cheeks into cherry-like color.
With his arm wrapped around her shoulders, they walked out of the restaurant and approached the elevator going to the 8th floor, where the suite booked by Lexus is located.
Excitement and heat filled Daffodil’s senses. It has been a while since the last time that she and Lexus mated and it was wonderful, just like the previous ones. It actually gets better and better and she could not deny the fact that she wanted more of it from Lexus.

“What, Sweetheart?” she asked wondering.
“Someone arrived in the resort where Trixie is working. The male guest asked if a name Daffodil Marby happened to check in at their resort,” Lexus said, with the creases on his forehead deepened.
