💠 Chapter 70 💠

Brianna’s POV

The men followed me with their car and I drove slowly so they could easily catch up with me. A smart person would have figured out my move but I could already see it on their faces that they were dumb so I didn’t need to stress myself much.

They caught up with me soon enough and asked me to get out of the car which I did almost immediately.

“Who are you? And what is the meaning of this?” I asked ignorantly

“You would get the answer to your question once we arrive at our destination” one of them answered and put a handkerchief over my nose.

I pretended to struggle for a while and soon, the drug took effect and I lost consciousness.

*Minutes later*

I don’t know for how many minutes I was unconscious but I know it wasn’t up to an hour because someone poured water on my face to wake me up. Looks like my kidnapper is too impatient to wait for the effect of the drug to wear off.

“Where am I? Who are you guys and why did you bring me here?” I asked, raising my voice

I have to pretend like I was caught unaware so that there won’t be any reason for suspicion.

“The boss is going to be here soon so just chill and relax because this night is going to be a very long night” one of the men said

“You are right. Boss said we are going to f**k her after he’s done with her and just the thought of that makes me hard already. She’s f**king beautiful” another one smirked

So whoever kidnapped me wants to rape me? I’ve kept my virginity until now so I can give it to the right guy and I was waiting for the right moment with Ryan, but someone wants to just take it away?

No way! Even if it’s the last thing I do on earth, I won’t let it happen. I would rather die than let anyone rape me.

Footsteps could be heard coming towards the room I was and I don’t know why my heartbeat increased with the sound of each footstep. I’m really anxious to see who it is so I can confirm if I really misjudged Justin or not.

The person arrived within seconds and when I looked up, it really turned out to be Justin. A part of me was happy that my intuition was right while a larger part of me was beyond angry.

Ryan trusts Justin and treats him like a brother but he dares to stab him in the back. I won’t spare him!

“Hello darling” Justin said with a smile

I wanted to spit in his face and rain curses on him but I decided to still keep up with my act to make everything go smoothly.

“Justin, you….” I said like I was surprised

“Yes, me! Shouldn’t you have guessed it already? I thought you were smart but it turns out that you are not. I shot those two witnesses you had and who else do you think would want to harm Ryan?

He has competitors in the business world but is still loved by all. The only people that want to hurt him are from the mafia world but none of them are bold enough to do it, except me of course. Are you saying you weren’t able to figure this out?” he smirked

“I knew you had evil intentions but I had no idea that you would go to this extent. Ryan treats you like family but you tried to kill him. Don’t you have a heart?” I asked bitterly

“There are many reasons why I dislike Ryan and you are one of the major reasons. I’ve always wanted to have a taste of you but luck seems to be on your side every single time so the best way to do that is to get rid of Ryan.

The second important reason is that Ryan is too proud. He has no interest in the mafia but he’s doing it because his dad passed it to him. Why couldn’t he just hand over the cartel to me?

He’s already very rich as he is and he never collects any profits from the deals he make. What’s the essence of just being an underboss when I can be the mafia boss?” he said proudly

“I’m going to kill you with my own hands if I’m ever untied from this place. The reasons you gave don’t make any sense at all. The first reason is just too stupid and meaningless.

As for the second reason. If you had just asked Ryan to pass on the cartel to you, he would have done that. I’ve seen how Ryan stares at you with love and I know how much it will hurt him to know that his only friend did this to him. Is your conscience dead or what? Your presence completely disgusts me that I feel like throwing up” I spat

“Just keep quiet. Shut your dirty mouth or I won’t wait till nightfall before f**king you mercilessly and I will do it in their presence” he threatened

“I dare you! I dare you to do it in their presence you imbecile! Almost killing Ryan is not enough, you want to take advantage of me too? Go ahead! But I promise you that you will regret it. No, you won’t even be able to live to regret it” I screamed at him

I was scared that he really was going to rape me and in their presence but I didn’t dare to show any sign of fear or he will see me as a weak girl.

“You really won’t shut up right? Starve her for the next two days and don’t give her a drop of water too. I want to see just how much you can scream” he said and left

The bodyguards also left and locked the door, leaving me all to myself. I heaved a sigh of relief knowing that I had the next two days to be free. I know Justin is not bluffing when he said he’s going to rape me mercilessly so I have to do something, but what?

(Two days later)

*Cynthia Gold hospital*

The hospital was very busy as usual with lots of patients going in and out of it and lots of doctors and nurses coming and going forth.

In one of the private wards, Ryan was on the bed while two bodyguards were inside the ward as instructed by Brianna before she left. The other two guards stood outside to guard the door.

Guard 1: I think Sir Ryan’s fingers just moved!

Guard 2: What are you talking about? The doctor said he won’t wake up until after some months so how can his fingers move?

Guard 1: I know it’s hard to believe so let’s both watch him closely to see if his fingers will move again.

The guards stared keenly without blinking their eyes and in a few minutes, his fingers moved again.

Guard 2: His fingers really did move! I will call the doctor right away!

A doctor came running to Ryan’s ward immediately after the guard informed him about Ryan. A checkup was immediately done and the doctor was in awe when he finished.

“I’ve heard that miracles do occur but this is the first time I will be witnessing this. He will wake up tomorrow at most but he still needs to rest properly so he can’t leave the hospital yet” the doctor said

“Sir Ryan is going to wake up tomorrow?” one of the guards exclaimed

The doctor nodded and left the ward while the guards rejoiced among themselves and spread the news to the other guards.
