Rogues
EILEEN'S POV.
After the ceremony, I congratulated the brothers briefly. I had an important appointment with my father, and some men, so I gave the triplets the excuse of wanting to relay the news of them becoming pack leaders, to my father personally. So they let me go, without raising questions .
Even though the triplets didn't have any problems with me leaving when the Palace was in the middle of celebrating, Yrene seemed to have a problem with it.
She alone, seemed to question me with her eyes, but I ignored her.
I left the Palace, got into my car, and zoomed off.
When I got home, my father was already waiting for me, and we walked into a dark room together.
My father sat opposite me, and gave a signal to a maid.
She left the room, and when she returned, she was with a few men.
They walked in and a single candle was lit, although they couldn't see us, as we were separated by a light fabric hanging from the ceiling.
I crossed my legs, and folded my arms as they walked in.
"Alright. Let's cut to the chase. I need to be somewhere tonight." My father grunted in his deep voice.
"When should we storm in?" The first man asked, and a little smile tilted the corner of my lip.
I liked him already. He indeed went straight to the point.
I didn't want to go that far, but couldn't help it. Even though I loved the triplets, no one rejected me, and everyone who did, had to pay. Even though it was only a little price, they still had to pay.
"Tomorrow." I replied, and continued. "There's no need for the courtesy of wasting time. We've given enough time." I said further, staring at my nails. "You were supposed to strike immediately the Alpha died, but my father here is a little merciful, and wanted the triplets to mourn a little. Now, they've mourned a lot. It's time to strike." I added, coldly, still focused on my perfect nails.
"We will strike immediately ma'am. Leave us to it." He assured, and I smiled once more, tossing a fat envelope underneath the fabric.
He picked it, and he and his men chuckled.
"Gracious you are, Ma'am. Beautiful too, I am sure." He added, and my smile grew wider.
"At least you know how to define beauty. I'm flattered.

YRENE'S POV.
The triplets' ceremony was the talk of the school, and I got so many envious looks.
They all thought becoming Luna was some large achievement. It was, but… somehow, I wasn't ready for it.
"Must be so happy. I should learn good seducing skills from her. Maybe I'll get myself some future pack leaders to mate with." A girl said, as I walked into the changing room.
"Let's not stoop so low." The other one said, and I scoffed. Their words didn't do a thing to me anymore.
If I had seduced the brothers, it wouldn't be strong enough for them to go crazy, searching for me. No it wouldn't. Their words were only born out of jealousy.
I had never gone after the triplets, rather, they had gone after me.
Thankfully, I was the only one in the changing room, so I didn't have to deal with more jealous freaks. I began to change into my P. E wear, and I had barely pulled on my shorts when I heard screams.
Lots of people were running through the hallways, and screaming.
What was going on? The hall had been totally normal when I had passed by it, minutes ago.
More screams filled the halls and panic flooded me. I scrambled to put on my shorts, and almost fell, after putting my right leg in the same place with my left.
"Damn it." I muttered, and struggled to put on my shorts properly.
After putting them on, I peeked out the door, and was shocked to see men chasing people. From their looks, I could already tell they were rogues. What were rogues doing, attacking students in the school?
What was I supposed to do? Phone the triplets? I tried to run back into changing room, but as I turned, my hair was dragged roughly, and my phone fell from my hands.
I screamed, and was dragged to the floor.
"Get up!" The man screamed, and I tried to, but kept on falling. Then, after giving my hair a sharp yank, he bent to pull me to my feet. I didn't even waste a moment.
I knocked his head hard, with mine, and scrambled to my feet.
"Get that bitch!" The man screamed, and they began to make a bee-line for me.
They stepped on the already-injured ones, who couldn't rise, and painful screams rose in the hallway.
I climbed up the stairs quickly, and they followed. Why wouldn't they leave me? It was just a single head butt. Why were they so mad about it?
"Someone call the triplets!" I screamed, racing past people on the next corridor, who were yet to be aware of the danger approaching. "Run! And call the triplets." I screamed at them.
Just then, the rogues showed up behind me, and everyone screamed, as they began to run.
I continued running, but something hit my head hard, and I tripped over a bag, which had been neglected on the floor.
I fell hard, with a large thud, and hurt my knee.
A large shoe had been flung at my head.
My cry rang out, but everyone was too busy running for their lives. The rogues caught me, and one yanked back my hair, while the other slapped my face hard.
My teeth cut into my cheeks, and I tasted blood on my tongue.
"You bitch!" The man spat, and continued to hit me hard, until my screams threatened to shake the school.
"Shut it!" Another said, throwing me to the floor, and they began to kick me.
I was kicked from every direction, and the only thing I could do, was curl into myself to protect my baby.
Nothing must happen to it.
Even if I got bruised, or had broken bones, my baby had to be protected.
They didn't stop with the kicks. They went on to squeeze my arms, with their claws till it was covered in blood. The rogues seemed to delight in my screams, and continued to give me marks everywhere they could find.
The pain was miserable.
I couldn't even begin to liken it to anything.
The worst thing about it was there was nothing I could do. I had to take the pain without objections.
Then finally, the darkness came to steal me away, and I was overly grateful.

When I awoke, I could tell I was in the hospital, by the white ceiling above.
The triplets were by my side, and they looked worried to death.
"Yrene, are you okay?" Ethan asked, leaning in.
"I'll catch those scoundrels. They'll pay." Reece promised, with a dangerous look in his eye.
"Why were you the only one who was hurt as much this? There is someone behind this." Kaden spat, and Eileen flashed in my mind, but I couldn't bring her up.
She had done her job of making them trust her well.
"This won't repeat itself, so don't you worry. I've hired bodyguards, who'll be with you at all times. You were lucky to survive with the baby this time, but we're not so sure what would happen if this gets repeated." Ethan said, and my hands found my belly.
I was glad my baby was safe. I could forget about the pain, and wounds, as long as nothing was wrong with the little one in me.

Immediately the triplets left to deal with urgent matters, a man and a woman in suits came in looking like robots. They bowed to me briefly, and took different positions at the window, and at the door.
They looked capable. The woman even had muscles.
I took in a deep breath, and happened to see my phone on the desk. I had totally forgotten about it ever since it fell in front of the changing room. Finding it had been off my mind, as I considered it to have been stolen.
But then again, who would steal the phone belonging to the wife of the pack leaders? They were better off as dead.
I picked my phone, and saw it had lots of notifications. They were all from the school platform.
Under one of the posts concerning the attacks of the rogues, my name made it into the discussion.
*Half the school were injured, but she was the only one beaten out of consciousness. Maybe she's the reason for their attack.*
*She's gotten so much confidence after she managed to burn all her layers of fat. She must have pissed those men off big time.*
*I'm blaming Yrene for this. They came to the school because of her.*
*It's her fault. Can't she just drop out?*
*She shouldn't drop out of the school alone, she should drop out of our pack. I'm very sure there's a pack that'll gladly take her.*
Many more accusatory comments uploaded by anonymous people filled the platform. No one ever cared that I had been injured. They all joined hands to pin the blame on me.
It was unfair. I had suddenly gone from victim to perpetrator. Couldn't they just find sympathy with me for once?
Later that day, I heard the news that it wasn't just the school that had been affected. The rogues had gone to every weak place they could find, and had attacked them.
Even with that, I was still blamed for everything.
What was even worse was that, the next day, they attacked again.
