Chapter 75 Kneel For me

Chapter 75 Kneel For me
Fernanda couldn't contain her excitement for Maya on her way back to her room. Yolanda had to keep her multiple times from entering the wrong hallway because she wasn't thinking about anything else.

"You have no idea how excited I am Yolanda! Although neither of them refused to say it, I knew they had feelings for each other but I didn't know it had gotten to this extent." Fernanda seriously couldn't wait for Maya to wake up and tell her more.

She arrived her quarters with a big smile on her face, leaving her two standby maidservants wondering what made her be in such high spirits. Her smile dropped when she entered her bedchamber, Sebastian was already there, sitting leisurely at the edge of her bed.

His own face lit up with a smile as soon as he saw her. He spread out his muscular arms, inviting her into his embrace. Fernanda feigned nonchalance as she just strolled to her dresser and sat in front of the mirror.

"I can see you are still vexed with me." He said, immediately strolling towards her. "How can I fix that?" He was already squatted beside where she sat, staring in awe at her face as she rubbed her lips with some balm.

"First of all, I am not vexed by you or anything and there's nothing to be fixed." Fernanda said, finally meeting his eyes. She looked away just as fast as she did that because if she had not, they would both give in to the immense hunger between them and kiss each other madly.

Fernanda could sense that so she had to control herself especially when Sebastian denied her what she needed desperately at the council chamber. She wanted to get her revenge.

"Then why do you look away from me?" Sebastian asked, gently tilting her chin so she could meet his eyes. "I need you."

Fernanda's heart began pounding when he said that, she wasn't expecting him to say that. The pleading look in his eyes too weren't helping matters, the little guard she had put up for the night was already slipping. "Get a grip Fernanda! You need to get your revenge."

She leaned her face closer to Sebastian's, who also eagerly leaned forward, their nose brushed and it was all too sensual. "I need..." Fernanda began with the most seducing and softest tone ever.

"...to sleep." She added and stood up with a mischievous smirk. She was proud of herself as she swayed towards the bed in her nightgown. It was at that moment Sebastian knew he was going to do anything for Fernanda's kiss. Even beg.

He followed her immediately with a surprised smile on his face. He looked proud of her, finally she was no longer holding in her fierceness anymore.

"I thought you said I needed to rest, so why aren't you letting me rest?" Fernanda asked, cocking her head to the side with both hands on her hips.

Sebastian's brows lifted, and for once, the smugness disappeared from his face. He looked at her for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh, running a hand through his hair.

"You're right." He raised both hands in surrender, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "I did say you needed to rest, and then I followed you here the moment you decided to actually listen to me."

Fernanda blinked, clearly surprised by how quickly he had admitted defeat.

"Are you... apologizing?"

"I am." Sebastian stepped closer, his expression softening. "I'm sorry, little bunny. I shouldn't have stopped you from resting and then complained when you tried to do exactly that."

Fernanda stared at him for another second before a slow, mischievous smile spread across her lips.

"Good."

Sebastian narrowed his eyes playfully. "Good?"

She nodded, folding her arms behind her back as she rocked slightly on her heels. "Since you're so sorry, I suppose I can forgive you."

"Can you?" His eyes immediately brightened. "Does that mean I get my kiss?"

Fernanda's smile grew wider.

"Do you still want it?"

Sebastian didn't even bother pretending to think about it. He nodded eagerly, his eyes glinting with anticipation.

"Very much."

"Even after everything you've done tonight?"

"Especially after everything I've done tonight."

Fernanda bit back a laugh. She slowly walked toward him, watching the hope in his expression grow with every step.

"Then kneel."

Sebastian froze.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me." She cocked her head, her smile turning wicked. "If you want the kiss that badly, kneel."

For a moment, he simply stared at her.

Then, without another word, Sebastian lowered himself onto one knee.

Fernanda's eyes widened slightly. She hadn't actually expected him to do it.

"You're serious?"

"I've never been more serious in my life."

She laughed softly and stepped closer. Sebastian's gaze followed her, completely focused on her as she leaned down.

Their faces drew closer.

His eyes fluttered shut.

And Fernanda pressed a quick kiss to his forehead.

Sebastian's eyes snapped open.

Fernanda immediately burst into laughter, covering her mouth as she backed away from him.

"You—" He stared at her in disbelief before a helpless laugh escaped him too. "You did it again!"

"You deserved it."

Sebastian rose to his feet, shaking his head while trying and failing to hide his amusement.

"When is this torture going to end?" he asked, placing a hand dramatically over his chest. "I've learnt my lesson. I promise I will never tease you again."

Fernanda hummed thoughtfully, pretending to seriously consider his plea.

"I'll think about it."

"That's all I get?"

"That's all you're getting."

She turned toward the bed, leaving Sebastian chuckling behind her.

"Come on," she said, patting the space beside her. "Get up here."

Sebastian climbed onto the bed beside her, and soon they were lying comfortably beneath the covers. The playful amusement on his face gradually faded as he turned toward her.

"So," he murmured, resting his head against his hand. "What did you and your father talk about?"

Fernanda's smile disappeared.

She stared at the ceiling for a moment, gathering her thoughts before turning toward him.

"He told me about my mother."

Sebastian's expression immediately changed.

"What about her?"

Fernanda swallowed.

"There's more to her story than I knew. And apparently, there's more to the Order too."
