Chapter 92 Useful information
Bud's POV
I didn't want to break down. That shows weakness. Damn it. But I have that picture permanently etched in my head. I can't unsee it. Of my Dianna, scared and bound with duct tape.
"What did you overhear. Did they say what they was up to." Calvin asks me.
"Melvin and Alpha Blake, their working together. They have a few more packs with them. Their trying to get Benjamin to help them, knowing he has it against Coban and Caden due to the fact of what their father did to his parents. They are setting him up though. As soon as they overthrow the twins, Alpha Blake is going to kill Benjamin and take the throne. Something about Alpha Blake and Coban's father is the ones that killed Benjamin's parents and him and his sister are the only known survivors." I go on telling them everything else I heard and what I saw.
"Cal, would it be too much to ask, but could you please call Donna and check on her. Please. Can you please ask her if they have brought Dianna back."
Calvin's POV
Fuck!!! I'm going to kill Melvin myself.
Damn. I just can't comprehend this all at once. So much information so fast, just threw at our face. There's definitely a lot going on.
I look over at Kevan and Mark and their eyes are glazed over. They are most definitely talking to the Kings.
"Yes, give me a minute." I dial up Donna's number, it rings twice and then she picks up.
"Hello" she says as she answers my call.
"Donna, this is Gamma Calvin, is anyone with you. Can you talk freely." I ask her.
"Calvin, they took Dianna. They haven't brought her back. I can't get ahold of Bud. He's not picking up the phone or answering my texts. Goddess I hope he's alright." She says frantically.
"Bud is in the dungeon. Richard forced him to do something and they were caught. I'm actually right here talking with him right now. Who took your daughter. Do you know who they were?" I ask as I switch the call to speaker and I let her know I did so.
"Cal that's the thing. They aren't from White Claw Pack. Their not rogues either, they are definitely from another pack though. They do have wolves from the shadow pack here. Been here for days, they might be from there." She said as she sniffled.
I look over at Bud and nod my head for him to talk to her.
I let him talk for awhile. Man I feel bad for him. The man is in tears.
I cut in and told them to say their goodbyes.
"Thank you Cal. You don't know how much that meant to me. Thank you very much." He said after I ended the call.
"Calvin, I did get ahold of Caden and Coban. They told me to get Bud to the room that Trixie stayed in when she first arrived. We will have his things moved upstairs. I'll have dinner delivered to his new room immediately upon his arrival, along with drinks and snacks. That way you two can talk more. I know the Kings has a lot of questions for him as well. You can also get cleaned up and hopefully get a good nights rest." Kevan said.
"Thank you Beta Kevan. I do appreciate all of your and their kindness. I'm truly sorry for my part in all of this. I'm so sorry." He sobbed.
You can tell it's very hard for him to control all of his emotions right now. Everything is happening way to fast for him right now. His poor mind hasn't caught up with everything yet.
"Bud, all the Kings are asking is that you don't call, text, or mindlink anyone right now. They think Alpha Blake has your mate being watched and your phone line tapped." Kevan added.
Gamma Mark went up to Bud and removed his silver cuffs. Bud moved his hands and wrists around.
"Your not going to be cuffed or chained but I hope you don't take offense to a few guards at your door and on the floor. It's for your protection as well. The Kings think they will kill you since you might of overheard information they didn't want you to hear." Kevan explained to Bud.
After we all talked a little more, they snuck him out the back entrance and got him to Trixie's old room.
Damn I can't believe I was right. I just knew something was wrong. But what we found out. Damn I don't think any of us was ready for all that. We definitely had shit thrown at our faces today. And Fuck, I have to get back to my pack ASAP. I have people to throw out and a pack to clean up.
I have to find Dianna.
