Chapter 43: Amanda Is A Great Actress

Gabriella.

"I have to go back to Silver Fang, Gabriella, but expect me to be here tonight," Alpha Viktor told me.

"I will wait for you, Alpha Viktor!"

He smiled. He grabbed my hand and lifted to give it a kiss, "No worries, Gabriella. I'll be back as soon as possible!" he replied.

Two days have passed since Alpha Viktor stayed here in Blood Lust. We did nothing but stay together.

During Alpha Viktor's two-day stay, I noticed Javier's bitter face. I knew he wanted to talk when he saw us together, but at least once, he didn't say anything. He just kept quiet and watched as Alpha Viktor and I were together, even though he wanted to explode with jealousy.

After Alpha Viktor left, I entered the palace. I was about to go straight to my room when Gwen approached me.

"Luna Amanda is calling you, Gab," she informed me.

I frowned because of what she said. What does Amanda need from me?

I took a deep breath before walking to Amanda's room.

When I entered Amanda's room, I saw her sitting on her bed. She was looking at me while smiling.

"Are you calling me, Luna Amanda?" I asked her.

"Yes, Gabriella. I just wanted to talk to you," she replied.

"Come, sit down and join me," she invited me.

I came and took a chair and faced her.

"I heard, you two have a good relationship with Alpha Viktor, Gab," she started talking.

"On the first day, they said you went to the waterfalls, and from what I heard, you both were sweet in each other," she continued.

"Why don't you just go with him, Gab? Why do you have to stay here?" she asked me.

I tilted my head, "I have reasons," Luna Amanda," I coldly answered.

"Reasons? What are your reasons?"

I narrowed, "You don't need to know," I replied.

I stood up, "If you don't say anything to me, Luna Amanda, I have to leave," I said.

"Just a moment, Gabriella. Accompany me here first," she made me stop.

"You don't know how bored I am. I'm just lying here on the bed, and there's no someone to talk to," she informed me.

"Honestly? I don't care about you, Luna Amanda. I have something important to do, so if possible, I'll leave."

"So, you are sticking to your plan, Gabriella?"

I looked up because of what she said, "Plan? What plan are you talking about?" I asked.

"You plan to take the title of Luna here in Blood Lust, don't you? Why do you need to take it when you can be Luna in Silver Fang?"

"Or maybe, you have a bigger plan? Tell me. Maybe I can help you," she added.

"If I'm yours, Luna Amanda, just shut up. You have nothing to do with whatever my plans are. You're only involved because you're Javier's Luna," I told her softly.

"Why can't you tell me what you want to happen, Gabriella?"

"Because you have no right to know!" I yelled at her.

She was silent because of what I said. She took the juice that was on the side of her bed and drank it.

I was about to leave her room when I heard Amanda coughing. I looked at her. My eyes widened when I saw her. Her mouth was foaming, and she was clutching her neck.

I quickly approached Amanda, "Luna Amanda? What is happening to you?" I asked her, worried about what was happening to her.

"What did you do to me, Gabriella? What did you make me drink?" she asked me with difficulty which made me surprised.

I moved backward because of what she said. I knew I wasn't doing anything to her so I realized she poisoned herself to pressure me.

"I can't believe you, Amanda!" I said.

I walked to the door of her room. I was about to open the door when three warriors suddenly entered.

Two warriors held me, while the other went to Amanda. A warrior picked Amanda up and ran out of the room.

"Let me go," I ordered the two warriors.

"Sorry, Gabriella, but you need to come with us! Why did you poison Luna Amanda?" One of the warriors replied.

I looked at them, "I didn't do anything to her. I didn't even touch her hair!" I answered.

"Come with us, Gabriella. You're the only one with Luna Amanda here. If something bad happens to her, Blood Lust will definitely be in danger!"

Two warriors pulled me out of the room. When we came out, I saw Gwen, she was bowing quietly.

I tilted my head. I know Gwen has something to do with it, but I also know she doesn't like what's going on. I took a deep breath to calm myself.

"I will come with ease. Let me go!" I ordered the two warriors.

They let go of me and went with them. They locked me here in the cell behind the palace. I sat on the bed and waited to see what would happen.

I can't believe Amanda could do that on her own. Does that mean, when she was poisoned the first time, she was the one who did it to pressure me? So that Javier can be angry with me?

In that case, Amanda has already done something amazing here in Blood Lust, and now that I know what she does, was there anything else?

I tilted my head, then closed my eyes. Now that I saw and knew what kind of woman Amanda was, it wasn't far off that she had other bad things she did. But the question was, what else? What other bad things did she do here in Blood Lust?

After I ate my lunch, Javier came. He looked at me seriously.

"What did you do to Amanda, Gabriella!!" He yelled at me.

"None."

"Nothing? You poisoned her! Why? Why do you need to try to kill her, Gabriella!!?"

I looked at Javier. I gave him a deadly look. I stood up from my seat to face him.

"As I said, I'm not doing anything bad to her, Javier. If that's what you want to believe, I can't do anything," I defended myself.

He grabbed his head because of what I said, "You're the one with Amanda in her room, Gabriella. The warriors saw you, so you're the only one who could do that to her!"

I laughed because of what he said, "Are you sure, Javier? What if I tell you that she poisoned herself?"

"Why would she do that?"

"Because she is crazy! Do you remember the first time she was poisoned? Wasn't I the one accused too?" I remind him.

"Yes, and she forgave you!"

"Come on, Javier!" I grinned.

"I'm not going to argue with someone who goes blind at a show by a great actress," I said. I turned my back on him and sat on the bed again.

Javier was still not leaving. He just looked at me seriously. I didn't have to explain to him as long as I told him that I had nothing to do with Amanda's poisoning. Let him believe what he wanted to believe, while I know myself that my conscience was clear!

When Javier got out of jail, I lay down on my bed and took a deep breath to calm myself. I knew there was more to come today, so I had to prepare myself
