Chapter 33

That weekend Zander had his four girls. His plan was coming together to get even with Jewel, now he just had to make sure the kids got the story right.

“Jewel, I have my kids, and Sophie and I want to go out, will you watch them all?”

“Sure, why not, I just won’t keep them over night.” Jewel stopped to think for a moment then regretted saying yes since Alex had busted Zander out, and Sophie’s dumb ass did not believe Alex about what Zander was up to.

“Aunt Jewel can we watch a movie?”

“Sure go ahead, just make sure you do not break the movie, sit and watch it.”

“We will. Aunt Jewel, do you think I can have a hug; I have not had a hug from you in a long time? I am mad at my dad he won’t let me have a boyfriend he said I am too young.”

“You are too young; you need to worry about school, not boys. Get through school, go to school, then go find a boyfriend.”

That was a big mistake which was taken totally out of context, telling a child not to worry about boys was the worst line that would ever come out of Jewels mouth.

Jake had decided to make good on his threat to Jewel.

Jewel had been sitting relaxing before going to work. When all of a sudden she looked up and there was Sophie, Zander’s, and his mom walking up the sidewalk.

“You fucking bitch,” belted out Zanders mother, “I watched you grow up, I thought you had more sense than this, come on having sex with a 14 year old, and your niece on top of it. You changed her diapers for god sake.”

“Dumb founded”, Zander replied with a snicker as he bent over and whispered to Jewel, “I warned you cunt, now there is no way out. No way out o-u-t-.”

“What in the hell are you talking about? I babysat all summer long for free, not only your seven hell raisers, but five others as well, which those five I was paid to watch. Would you mind telling me when there was time to have sex with one of the hell raisers? Not to mention you have some sick deranged children who can come up with some really odd stories. Need I remind you I am a woman with needs; I do not look to a child to fulfill those needs. That is what my husband is for to take care of those needs.” Looking at Zanders mother Jewel responded back to her, “By the way so called Auntie, if my Uncle were alive you would not be over here talking shit like this to me, he would have both of your asses and beating them, if you would like to take that pistol out of your pants, I suggest that you take your best shot, because if you misses I will make sure you eat that mother fucker.”

“Excuse me was that a threat? I do not think that your mother or father would take too lightly to my telling them what you just said. But, hey, you are a cradle robbing, cunt licking whore, who would actually expect anything more from you? You are going down and will pay for what you have done.”

“Get the fuck out of my house. I did not do anything to those children, I would never hurt those kids they have been through enough, I treated them as though they were my own, and yes they all hugged me and said thank you when they left, I guess if hugging a child is against the law then I am guilty, but so is the rest of the population.” Jewel got in her Aunts face and shoved her, “Now bitch, get out of my house, and take these two idiots with you. I will get you back for this Zander.”

Thinking to herself after they had left Jewel wondered what the hell reason Zander had for doing this to her, he married Sophie, he got his kids, so what was the problem?

Jewel had only been at work for 20 minutes when the police arrived. “Oh, great now what, this is just not my fucking day. This is not happening. What the fuck do you guys want now? Joe come on just tell me, you have got to have something better to do than to just bother me. I am trying to work here.”

“Sorry, Hun, business will have to just wait, you need to come with me.”

“What the fuck for? Oh wait, damn I forgot about the damn no insurance ticket. I plan to pay that, I did not miss any court dates for it.”

“Don’t play dumb with me. You know damn well what you are in trouble for.”

Since the station was walking distance they all walked to the police station. As they were walking Jewel finally asked what the hell happened and why she was wanted.

“Here is the thing, we have been told that over the past few months that you and a minor child have been engaging in sexual activity, the sheriff’s office is letting us handled it since it is in our jurisdiction.”

“Oh my God, are you for real? This is some sort of a joke right, seriously look at me, try again, I need a meal not a fucking snack. Seriously what is this about?” Jewel was really pissed off, she could not believe that Zander made good on his promise. “Look the only thing I am guilty of is having an affair with a thirty year old guy, but that is not illegal.”

Once sitting in the office of the police officer the report was shown to Jewel.

“Oh come on, this is just sick, and what is worse they all are saying the same thing, hell this deserves an Emmy award, it had to take time to put it all together. This all screams set up; you should be able to see that, after all you are the police and are suppose to know a setup when you see it. These kids do have some major mental issues and trust me they are not able to tell the difference between what is fantasy and what is reality.”

“They seem to know what they are talking about according to this.”

“Since when is a hug and a few bucks to do the lawn for me sexual abuse? Seriously arrest me or let me go, this is some trumped up bullshit.”

“Not yet, still have a few more questions for you.”

“Well, guess what I have no more answers for you, get me a lawyer, or let me go.”

“Seriously you do not need a lawyer, just sign this, and you can go, nothing will happen to you and the kids will get all the help that they need.”

Trusting what the officer said Jewel signed the paper not reading it first, not even knowing what she had just signed.

“Damn, you are stupid, or you are just in hurry, whichever one it applicable, now I am arresting you that is a signed confession you just put your name on.”

“What, you are about as low as they get, you know I am not guilty of anything like that. Thanks a lot for setting me up, you know that is just wrong on your part. But, oh wait typical, since you’re finest can not solve a crime on their own you have to trap people and make them admit to things they have not even done to begin with.”

“Honey, you are the dumb one, you should read then sign, not sign and expect to go. You did it to yourself.”

“What the fuck ever, and to think I trusted you guys and tried to help with other things you needed to take care of. Can I go now?”

“Yep, I trust you, I am letting you go without a bail, which by the way should be 50 grand, at 10%, just do not leave town, and do not take your ass over to their house and start any shit, which I know you are wanting to do. I know you all too well; I really do not want to have to add battery to the charges. Your daughter by the way sends her to your mom’s house, or we will do it for you the hard way.”

“What the fuck ever, this is just all a bunch of bullshit, and you know it.”

“You are a beautiful woman I know you have had some marital problems, but finding comfort in a child, come on, why you didn’t just call me, I would have been more than happy to oblige, and take care of the issue.”

“Yea, I know, but as I said look at me, I am a woman I need a meal, not a snack, so you could not have helped either.”

“Oh, I see, you are still as cocky as ever. You are still an arrogant woman at that. Which is such a turn on for us men?”

Jewel flipped the officer off as she walked away from the office. Waiting for him to come after her and try to get her on some other fucked up charges.

So begins the family feud, and the worst is yet to come. Innocent lives are being destroyed, more lives than anyone actually realizes. All over a vendetta, and a pissed off arrogant mother fucker.

How is it that a once close family could fall apart in the blink of an eye? How could a once close knit family make a child be taken from the only family she actually has and knows? It was all over lies. A family being destroyed over lies, and deceitful practices.

Once Jewel returned home, she sat and cried and became very distraught. How could this happen? Then it all clicked, Sophie had always been jealous of her relationship with Zander, Brock of course was pissed over not being able to spend more time alone with Jewel especially

Since she was always babysitting, and the lying child was in need of attention, the bigger picture was yet to come, since Josh had been molesting Brittany, maybe Jewel had told the wrong person for his family to cause these problems, and turn the tables.

“Josh, you fucking asshole, how dare you not even make an attempt at trying to help me. Knowing damn well that you are the one messing with a child not me. Yes, you piece of shit, I know about you sneaking into my 10 year old daughters room at night, you sick twisted bastard, then deciding now to tell me that you plan to divorce me to marry my daughter when she is 18, you are a fucking low life looser get out of my house.”

“Jewel calm down, my family was just trying to protect me, they felt that you deserved to go down for all the times that you cheated on me, they did not think that it would go this far, and that it would mess your life up as it has. I am sorry I should have…….

“Shut the fuck up, my life is upside down now. My only child not only has been taken from me, but has lost her virginity at ten to a low life alcoholic bastard like you.” Jewel picked up a butcher knife and went after Josh, “You son of a bitch, you have five seconds to get the fuck out of my house, out of my sight, and to never come back around us again.”

“You are a crazy bitch for real. Put the knife down.” Josh opened the door to walk out then turned around, “Oh by the way, your ten year old is as in love with me as I am with her, she and I did have plans to marry when she turned 18.”

“Bastard you are sick, get out.” Jewel screamed as she threw the knife and narrowly missed Josh. “I mean it Josh, get out now, go live with the family of yours that is as sick and twisted as you are. I see the big picture now, they would rather see an innocent persons life turned upside down, and over nothing, and be able to protect a sick, bastard like you.”

“Bitch you are fucking nuts, you are more psycho than anything. My family sticks together, of course they found it to be fun to take you down to protect me. Now you cannot do shit to me, they will see it as retaliation, remember my sister is married to a cop.” Josh was laughing at Jewel, just knowing that he was safe from being arrested.

“Josh just get out and do not come back, I will kill you my damn self for putting your hands on my child. The law will not do shit to you or protect my child I guess I will have to do it.”

Jewel slammed the door and sat down to cry uncontrollably. How a family turn as this family does have done after all that she has done for them? Why would they want to hurt her this way after all she had done for them? All summer long she babysat for free. This was the thanks she got for that. Her life is pretty much over now. She will never be the same happy go lucky person she has always been. She will now be nothing more than a sex offender for the rest of her life.

Take a breath Sophie. You got this. You know they have no clue what they are talking about. I have to get a lawyer. I can not I will not go to jail for having sex with a child. Not only is being accused of this going to ruin my marriage, since my husband’s family caused it, but it is about to turn ugly when he finds out I was having an affair with his brother.

First things first call a lawyer. Then call Josh. Then call his stupid brother who started it all.

I should never have started this affair. If only I had been able to see into the future. If, an, but, not a big help now.

The phone only rang twice when she heard her lover answer, “Don’t even think you are going to blame me for this one. I must admit I came up with one hell of a story, they all bought it. You ignored me I warned you. If you kept allowing those kids to cut into our time I would get even. It didn’t take much. They fell for it. You forget how good of an actor I am. I love you, I always will. You have followed through with asking for a divorce. I already have. Too late now.”

“ Asshole don’t you think that they would need evidence DNA etc. in order to convict me? There is none of that. Now that you have done this stupid shit, I never want to hear from you again. Now, you have succeeded at me asking for a divorce. I can not and will not stay married to a man whose family would put such a tag on a person’s name. My life will be destroyed. “

“Well darling, if it does stick, once you do your due time, then you will have plenty of time for us. Call me then. You know you will never be able to forget about me. I could tell by all of the sex we had, we weren’t supposed to catch feelings, yet here we are.”

As it turned out, Jewel kicked Josh out for allowing his brother to cook up a story and cause her to have a police record. Also now divorced the family who caused the problem Sophie was tired of taking care of 7 kids who would always say they were sexually abused by people they would get mad at. As for Jewel and her lover she called him he was still hung up on her and she still cared about him, but could never go back to having an affair with someone who would turn at anytime and cause problems.

As for Jewel well she found a job, then took another weekend job, in between there still trying to raise her daughter alone. Soon enough the bar and new friends began what felt to be a whole new life style.
