Chapter 32
“Sophie, honey where are you? Jake yelled walking through the house. “Come on Sophie, I give up. I am not in the mood for these kiddie games; I had a rough flight, a lot on my mind.” I hate the idea of being here, I got court papers served to me at the airport for child support on kids that I plan to get custody of, and I have the ugliest, sloppiest wife that anyone could ever be married to. No, I am not in the mood for these fucking games.
“Zander, honey, I am upstairs, come up here and you will find me exactly where you want me to be.” Sophie yelled downstairs.
Zander finally walked upstairs, much to his surprise he found Alex up there, with Sophie crying behind him. This is not what he had expected to come home to. As if his day had not been bad enough already. He had hoped to have a better homecoming. Yeah right that is not going to happen, not with the circus he married into.
“Really, Alex, what the fuck are you doing here? If you even laid one hand on my wife, you will live to regret it, I still owe you from the last time you hit her, now I suggest that you either leave on your own, or the mood I am in I will beat your ass from here to the front door. The choice is yours.”
“Not so fast Mr. Perfect, I get my way. You are the one who ruined my family, up until you came along, and your bitch ass whore of a cousin Jewel got involved Sophie and I were just fine, now it is my turn.”
“Zander, I am so sorry, I tried to get Alex to leave, he broke in, and he would not leave. He shoved me into the room and on the bed then told me to shut up. I made the mistake of telling him that you would be home this week and he could not take the kids. He went fucking crazy on me; he said he would get even with you for ruining his life one way or another. Then he punched me in the face, and twisted my arm, pinned me down and tried to rape me. If you had not come in when you did I think he would have raped me.”
That was all it took for Zander to more angry than he already was. He had taken enough shit from this dude, he was about to throw down on him. He had to be cool before he and Sophie were married, now he did not have to, no one was going to ruin the plan he had, he had come too far, having to pretend to love Sophie was the easy part, after all he does act for a living. He was finally ready to take care of Alex for all the pain and suffering he put Sophie through, and trying to split them up.
“Get the fuck out of my house now.” Yelled Zander, as he walked toward Alex. “You have no right to be here, other than to see your kids, not go after my wife. Now leave or as I already told you I will throw you out, beating your ass the whole way to the front door. Make your choice mother fucker; this is not your day.”
At that point Alex walked closer to Zander and punched him in the face. Not a wise choice for Alex, Zander had anger issues and he had a lot of anger inside of him, when Zander saw his own blood the trouble began. One punch after another, Sophie tried to step in the middle; Alex punched her on one side of the face Zander on the other.
“Stop it you two, enough is enough, this is not solving a damn thing. It is not like whoever wins gets me, Zander and I are married, leave Alex. Fuck it I am out of here I refuse to watch you two plays these fucking kiddie games as you say.”
The two were still fighting moving toward the stairs, which at the same time Sophie was trying to go down the stairs.
“Stay out of this Sophie; you need to keep your fat ass fucking mouth shut.” Alex shoved Sophie out of the way causing her to lose her balance and she tumbled down the stairs.
“You fucking asshole, was that necessary? Really, how could you shove her down the stairs like that? If anything happens to her, you had better be ready to kiss your ass goodbye. I am not even playing with you. She is not moving, at least call 911 and I will check to make sure she is okay.”
“I am out of here, I am not staying around for the police to come and the ambulance, I refuse to go to jail again.”
“You fucking prick, man up, you did this to her, now you are staying to see it through. I am sure your stay will be pleasant at the jail.”
Jake ran down the stairs to make sure Sophie was still breathing; it appeared that she was just knocked out cold. Then he called 911, and made sure that Alex could not leave. Alex just stood over Sophie and stared at her.
Alex was thinking to himself what have I done? How could I have done that to her? I hope she is okay, when she comes around she won’t have me put in jail again I know her. I will just apologize to Zander, he will understand I lost my head, he has to know how it feels to love someone that you cannot have, and then lose her to another man, and he has been through the same thing with his wife.
“Zander, I am so sorry, I did not mean to do that, I guess I am just obsessed with Sophie, I still love her. The thought of losing her, it makes me so crazy, just try to understand. Sophie told me that your wife left you for another man, so you should be able to understand what I am going through, I never meant to hurt her.”
Dude I would have done the same thing, why you are so obsessed with this fat bitch is beside me, I am sure she is just fine; she had enough fat to lessen the blow of falling down the stairs. “Alex, look, you are going to have to learn with the fact that Sophie is married to me now, she is no longer married to you, how you deal with the fact is your problem not mine, I dealt with it when I went through it, it was not easy, but I made it. Sooner or later someone will come into your life and steal your heart away, and Sophie will be a distant memory, you will start new ones with another wife. It takes time; you just have to deal with it, and try to look for someone else. I thought you had a date a few nights ago, what happened to that? You are welcome to see the kids any time you want, just leave my wife alone. Look brother, I know you are on to me, I do not love the fat bitch, I am using her, she is dumb enough to let me, I need a home, a woman, and stability in order to get my kids from their crazy crack head mother, Sophie was easy prey for me, she was unhappy, that made it all the easier to sway her. I will not press charges, but let me find out that you tell her or anyone else my plan I will make you regret knowing me, got it. All you need to do right now is turn and walk out that door and pretend to know nothing, before I change my mind.”
“I knew it, I knew someone who looks the way you do would not love someone like her, but it’s all good she will figure it all out on her own, you best hope she did not hear what you said or you will be done for. It will not happen again, I will see my kids and leave you two alone, with hopes that she wakes up, she gets what she deserves though.”
Their conversation was interrupted by a knock at the door. Alex was hoping that Zander would stand by his word and not press charges on him for what he did to Sophie or to Zander; he did know that he deserved it though if Zander pressed charges.
“Is there a problem here?” Asked the officer at the door. “We had a call about a fight and an injured woman.”
“No, sir, no fight, I called because my wife had fallen down the stairs, she is still not coming around, I think she hit her head pretty hard.”
“The ambulance is on the way.”
Alex felt bad and decided to confess to what he had done. “Officer, I am the reason she fell down the stairs, I was the one pushed her down the stairs.”
“Is that true sir?”
“Yes, he did, I told him I would not press charges if he would just leave my family alone. I just want him to leave this family alone.”
“Sorry sir it does not work that way. He admitted that he shoved her down the stairs, we have no choice to arrest him for domestic battery.”
“Great now my whole cover is going to be blown you stupid son of a bitch. Well, I guess I can now get back at Jewel for this going bad.” All I need to do is get my kids here, start some shit put an idea in my kid’s heads and it is on. I get my kids for one weekend, have Jewel watch them, and she will go down u too. I am such a genius.
