"Go! I said go!!" Alex threw the pillow at Gerald again.

Gerald frowned. Alex never acted like this.

Gerald slowly entered Alex's room, crouching slightly beside Alex's bed.

Gerald tried to stroke his son's head, but Alex turned his head away, tears beginning to fall.

"Hey! What's wrong? Are you angry with Daddy?" Gerald said softly.

Alex was silent, wiping his tears and looking back at Gerald with sad, red eyes.

"Mommy said you don't want us anymore, you hurt Mommy! Mommy said you don't acknowledge us! Mommy said I'm not your child! That's why you're going to leave us, isn't it?" said Alex, his lips trembling as he held back his tears.

Gerald was hurt to see his child like that.

"Listen, it's not like that! Daddy loves you, loves all of you! And you are Daddy's child! Nothing can change that! Daddy just has a very important job and has to leave you for a while, but Daddy promises to make time to visit you, okay?" Gerald coaxed, stroking his child's head.

"Really? Will you visit Mommy too? But Mommy said..." Alex's words hung in the air.

Gerald sighed heavily. "Your Mommy is mad at Daddy. Daddy made a little mistake with your Mommy and... we had a little disagreement. Will you help Daddy?"

Alex didn't understand the problem between Daddy and Mommy, but he knew one thing: his Daddy loved his Mommy! Likewise, his Mommy was starting to love his Daddy even though she always said she didn't! And Alex didn't want them to separate! Alex nodded his head firmly.

Alex sat next to his son's bed and smiled, then whispered something to his son.

"Do you understand, son?" Daddy asked softly.

Alex nodded again and said, "I understand, Daddy! I will definitely help Daddy! Don't worry, Daddy! I will take care of Mommy!"

Gerald smiled, ruffled his son's hair, and said, "Good boy! Please take care of your Mommy for Daddy, okay? Daddy will find a way to make Mommy forgive Daddy! But for now, let's let her calm down first, okay?"

"Okay, Daddy! I'll also help Daddy so that Mommy can forgive Daddy!"

"Thank you!" Gerald hugged his son tightly.

It was hard for Gerald to let go of Alex. After all, they had just met and reunited, but now they had to part because of his carelessness.

"Alright! Daddy has to go now, but Daddy will visit you tonight, okay?"

Gerald reluctantly let go of his son, stood up, and slowly walked out of Alex's room.

Outside Alex's door, Gerald stopped and took a deep breath. It wasn't easy to part with his new little family! But Gerald knew it was his fault! He didn't want to hurt Jennifer, either emotionally or physically, and his departure was a punishment for himself for hurting someone he loved very much, even if it was unintentional.

Gerald was afraid that he would lose control again, like yesterday, because of his emotions and hurt Jennifer's heart again, or hurt her body even more than now, especially if his illness returned. So Gerald decided he had to avoid and control himself around Jennifer for a while.

John, who saw how hard it was for Gerald to leave Alex and Jennifer because he kept staring at their door, finally tried to speak up.

"Alpha, how about you explain it to Mrs. Jenny? I think she'll understand... and besides..."

"No, Beta John! I can't look her in the eye right now! Besides, in her current state, she definitely won't believe my explanation! Let her calm down for a while and me too! I'm afraid of hurting her again if my illness flares up!" Gerald exhaled deeply, trying to ease the burden on his heart.

"But Alpha... you..." John spoke again.

"No buts, Beta John! This is how I punish myself for hurting Jenny! It's better if I leave now! Please take care of them! Let me know whatever happens! After all, I'm still in the same apartment, just on a different floor! I can still visit Alex at night when Jenny is asleep!" Gerald said again.

"All right, Alpha! If that's your decision! Don't worry, I will definitely protect them with my life!" said Beta John.

"Thank you! You're my best Beta!" Gerald patted Beta's shoulder before finally lifting his head and walking toward the living room and out of his luxurious penthouse.

Meanwhile, Jennifer, who looked sad, cried continuously in one corner of the room, crouching and hugging her legs.

Jennifer didn't know how long she had been crying until she fell asleep without realizing it.



It was getting late in the afternoon when John paced back and forth in Jennifer's room.

John knocked repeatedly on Jennifer's door because he had just been told by the housekeeper that Jennifer had not left her room since morning until late afternoon. Jennifer hadn't eaten anything since morning either.

"Get the spare key! HURRY!!" John ordered his men.

Beta John also took out his cell phone and tried to call Gerald.

The call connected, and Gerald's heavy voice could be heard on the other end.

"Hello?"

"I'm sorry, Alpha Gerald, for disturbing your rest! Mrs. Jenny..." John hesitated a little before delivering his message.

"What's wrong with Jenny? I'll be right there!"

"Tut!"

Gerald hung up, and Beta John put his phone back in his pocket. Suddenly, a maid came over and handed John several keys.

"Which one is the key to this room?" John looked at the maid.

"I'm sorry, Beta John, we... we don't know either! But these are all the spare keys to this house!" she said fearfully.

"But which one? Are you crazy? I have to try each of these keys one by one? It will be too late! What if something happens to Mrs. Jenny inside? Huh? Do you want to take responsibility, huh?!" Beta John exclaimed angrily.

The maid could only bow her head in fear, "I'm sorry, Beta John!"

"Never mind! Get out now!" Beta John shouted angrily.

Beta John stared at the many keys in his hand, tied together.

"Hang in there, Mrs. Jenny! I hope nothing happens to you! I don't know what will happen if you..." Beta John couldn't imagine how angry Alpha Gerald would be if something bad happened to his Luna.

Trembling, Beta John tried to open the doors one by one.

As Beta John was still trying several keys and couldn't open the door, someone suddenly appeared. Someone who looked panicked appeared.

"Wuzzz!!"

Beta John felt a strong wind beside him.

A large and powerful black wolf appeared.

Then the black wolf, who was none other than Alpha Gerald, changed back into his human form.

Beta John stood frozen, Alpha Gerald's face tense.

"What happened? What's wrong with Jenny? Tell me quickly!" Gerald asked with a face full of tension and worry that was very obvious.

"I'm sorry, Alpha Gerald! Mrs. Jenny hasn't come out of her room since this morning... since... and she hasn't eaten anything! I tried knocking on her door, but... there was no response! I tried to open her door with a spare key... but..." Beta John tried to explain, a little scared.

"Then move aside! Let me break down the door!" Alpha Gerald exclaimed again.

"But Alpha Gerald, isn't that..." Beta John didn't have time to finish his sentence when Gerald suddenly prepared to kick Jenny's door with his big, long leg.

"CRACK!!"

"Jenny! Where are you?!" Gerald shouted as he entered, and the door was destroyed in one kick.

Alpha Gerald scanned the entire room with his eyes. Suddenly, he saw a corner of the room and shouted.

"OH NO! JENNY!!"
