Chapter Fifty: Something strange is happening to my wolf

"Ah..," I made soft sound. As I took off my black bra, ready for a bath.

It was painful in doing so; my nipples were killing me. It hurts every time, I touched them.

I slowly went into the shower; turning on the pipe; cleansing my body; while the water ran all over me.

As I washed my face. I heard the bedroom door open.

Who could it be I thought?, I knew Liam was on an urgent mission with some of his pack members; early this morning.

He informed me of it before he left.

I then became even more sad; lowering my head, watching the water fall against the floor; running down the drain. As I thought of my mate.

For the past four days. I've been only direspectful to him.

I have ignored him, disobeyed him.

I don't let him touch me like he did and refuse to have sex with him.

I hated it. But, I had no choice but to do so.

"Are you finish?" I heard Jennifer within my mate room; waiting for me.

During these four days we would pretend to be close; just for her to come and visit me, to see how it was going, between me and Liam.

I quickly got out of the shower, using a large white towel in drying my body and wrapping it around me in hiding my nakedness.

I open the bathroom door and there I saw Jennifer sitting on the bed Liam and I use to share; before I kicked  him out of it. Still every night when I'm asleep I smelled him within my room.

It was hopeless in trying to be a bad mate; for these past four days. No matter what I do; it pulled him even more closer to me.

"Is my son tired of you now?" Jennifer asked me while she continued to sat on the end of the bed eager for an answer.

"Can't I atleast put on my clothes first," I answered her.

Throughout these day; I felt like I had no control over my body, sometimes; which had started to scare me. I found myself becoming very angry just by talking and wanting to start a fight.

It felt like my wolf was taking over my human form.

"Okay, she said, I'll be outside of the room waiting," while she exit the room.

I went over to the draw and quickly search for a simple shirt and a pants.  That wasn't so tight.

My hip had became wider. I had gain alot of weight lately; for I was stress and started to find comfort in eating.

It was not easy at all; being blackmail every day by your evil step mother. Because, you're afraid of losing the only person that matters within your life. Believe me it's not easy.

While I finish put on my clothes. Jennifer again enter the room; 

"So how's everything?" she again asked me; while she stood behind me.

"Nothing seems to work, no matter how hard I try," I informed her.

"Try harder, she said loudly, are you know what I'll tell him about you!"

I felt my eyes shifted within its wolf form; hearing her words echoed within my ear.

I held each side of my face; pressing my fingers against it.

My eyes then shifted back into its human form.

"Stray," she called me.

I turned around to see what she wanted.

"You only have 3 more days left, she informed me, to leave hear once and for all. So make sure when you leave here you make my son broken hearted that he'll run to Paisley for comfort. Do you hear me slut?" she inquired me.

I felt my wolf within me, angry as hell; hearing that bitch name. Who will never stop until Liam is hers.

It's anger was so strong. I didn't know if I could control it.

I quickly remove, myself from the room and ran into the bathroom, closing it.

"Slut!, slut!" I heard her calling me; which had started to add more to the anger I was feeling.

I felt my wolf wanting to growled out loud, angrily; I covered my mouth. Not wanting her to hear me.

My eyes again shifted and there I saw on the walls of the bathroom; four deep marks.

I looked down on my right hand. My eyes widen in shock. My fingers were dripping with blood.

I quickly wipe up the blood from the floor and wash off my hand.

"Bang, Bang, " Jennifer knocked the bathroom door.

"I need to speak to you," Jennifer kept on saying; while she continued to beat down the door.

"I'm coming," I answered her; washing off the blood from my hand and quickly exit the bathroom.

"Yes," I answered her; as I went back into the room.

"It seems nothing is working; plus I don't trust you," she said as she looked at me. How do I know if you're trying to get on my son nerves, for him to hate you?" she inquired me.

I turned my head aside not wanting to hear her nor look at her now.

"Someone is coming here to meet you," she said. While she left room.

I stood within the room. Wondering what dirty plans she had now.

"Aren't you coming?" she inquired me while she went downstairs.

I continued to stand within the room for a minute before I followed her downstairs.

I wanted to know what was happening to my wolf. I felt like I had started to lose control over it. I had become very aggressive these days and I hated being touched by anyone; except for the alpha.

I then started to think of how I had been a bad mate to him lately; when all he does was try to make me happy.

I hated it.

"Miss Avery," I heard Julene called me; while she stood at my bedroom door.

"Yes," I answered her.

"Ms. Jennifer wants you to meet someone downstairs," she informed me.

"Okay," I answered her.

I followed her downstairs and there, I saw Jennifer with a young, short, dark hair man. That looked the same age as me.

As I went towards them. I saw him smiled at me.

"This is Scott," Jennifer introduced the young man to me.

"Hi, I greeted him. I'm Avery," I informed him.

Why is he here?, I thought; while we stand within the hall.

"Where is Liam?" Jennifer inquired him.

"He's on his way back home," he answered her.

"Good, Jennifer said. it's a great time to do this right now."

Wondering what the heck they were talking about. I inquired Jennifer.

"What are we going to do?" I inquired her.

"Putting an end to you and my son relationship, right now," she answered me.

I knew that was what she wanted me to do all along. But why does it involves him as well.

"Come let's go upstairs," she said.

I followed them eager to know what they were about to do; as I saw them entered my bedroom.

Suddenly I heard Scott asked Jennifer a question; worried about something

"Are you sure, you won't let him hurt me?" he question her.

"I told you many times, not to worry yourself," she answered him.

Soon I saw the young man, started to take off his light green shirt and then his pants.

"What are you doing?" I asked him surprisingly.

"You too are going to sleep together and let Liam catches you," Jennifer answered me. Now quick take off your clothes," she instructed me to.

The thought of doing that disgustes me. I'll never hurt my mate in such way. I love him and this body only belongs to him.

"No," I answered her.

"What did you say slut?" Jennifer said as she walked over to me.

"I said no," I again informed her.

Soon we were so close together; I could feel her breath against my face.

"You listen to me slut, she informed me. You are going to lay down on that bed right now and open that whoring pussy to that man," she said angrily.

I stood still; not saying anything.

"Do what I say or Liam will be hearing about your little secret," she said.

I continued to stand still not wanting to move. I clench my teeth in anger. As I saw the man went to my mate bed naked; waiting for me.

I could feel my blood boiling inside of me with great anger.

I again didn't know, what came over me. But all I could feel was an acute pain within my throat; while I shouted at the young man to get the fuck out of Liam's bed. I didn't want his stinking body and scent all over my mates sheet.

He jumped quickly from the bed.

I then felt Jennifer hands against my pants wanting to zip it down. 

I felt my eyes shifted and my wolf growled at her in anger.

"Ha!.......," I heard her screamed.

I looked down at the floor and there I saw her body filled with blood.

I looked at my hand and saw, I was the one who did it. I hurted her.

I started to breathe heavily; looking around the house, terrified as hell; not knowing what to do.

What have I done?, I kept on thinking.

All I had to do was to do whatever she wanted me to do for the seven days and I ruin it.

"I'm going to make you pay for this,"she instructed me. As she hold her face; while the naked man went over to help her.

She cried out loud in pain; making everyone within the house hearing her.

"Miss Jennifer," I heard Julene called her; while running upstairs.

I shifted within my wolf form and jump through the window; running away. I couldn't stay here right now.

If I told Liam what she wanted me to do; I know she will tell him my secret.

"Hah, hah," I breath heavily as I ran; trying very hard to get far away from the house.

As I continue to ran; I scented my mate not too far from me; coming from his mission.

He was not alone.

I couldn't let him see me.

I had to turn towards another direction; which leads me to the main area in Wereville.

My body shiver; as I started to walk within the large main area of Wereville. Which will allow everyone to see me.

As I continued to walk. I was terrified but felt relieved that I saw no one. 

It was early and people were still at home. 

As I was about to run; I scented some wolf, coming towards my direction.

The only solution for me was to run into Rosa's store; which I did.

I pushed the store door. I was so happy it was open.

Rosa came into the store right away as she heard me came in.

I shifted within my wolf form; as I saw her and started to cry.

"Avery," she called me as she ran towards me; holding me on the floor.

"I can't control my wolf," I cried; as I told her.

She looked at my hand and saw blood.

"What happen?" she inquired me, frightenly.

"I hurt her," I cried out to her.

"Who?" she again asked me frightenly.

"Jennifer," I answered her.

"Why?" she asked me.

I said nothing; while I cried out, for my mate.

I heard the store room pushed open and there I saw my mate. Standing at the door.

Rosa removed herself from me immediately as she saw him.

I stared at him; knowing the true reason why he was here.

I then felt like my whole world, was falling apart; while my heart raced within my chest.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he inquired me while he approached me.

I remove my naked body from the floor, slowly; not knowing how to answer him.

"Why didn't you!" he shouted at me.

My body jumped frightenly.

"I was scared" I answered him, quickly; while looking around the store for any opening other than the main entrance in getting away from him.

"What happened to my brother?" he inquired me.

I felt my heart as if it was about to stop; hearing him inquiring me about his brother.

I pushed myself backwards, in getting away from him; scared of answering him.

Liam ran towards me and wrapped me into his arms; preventing me from moving.

"What happened to him?" he asked me again angrily; as we now stood face to face.

I lower my head to his hard chest; crying to him.

"He's dead," I cried as I told him.

"Who killed him?" he asked me.

I continued to cry; not knowing how I could answer him now.

He removed his hands from my waist and held my face towards his; staring deep within my blue eyes; waiting for an answer.

"Who did it?" he again asked me.

I tried to shake my head; wanting him to remove his hands from my face.

I didn't want to look him in the eye and tell him. It was me.

I was the one who killed his brother.

"Dammit it, answer me!" he shouted angrily.

"Hah....., I killed him," I answered; as I cried out.

I then felt his hands move away slowly from my face; while he slowly step backwards; away from me.

"Liam let me explain!" I shouted out to him.

"What did he do to you?" he inquired me.

I turned my head aside, in tears.

"Is he the reason why, you didn't believe me the night when I told you, I was marking you?" he inquired me.

I turned to him, surprised by his question. I thought he would be angry at me and would want to kill me. But, instead he was worried about me.

"Yes," I answered him while I sobbed.

"Did he force himself on you?" He asked me.

I again cried out to him.

"Did he!" he shouted at me.

"Yes," I answered him.

"I'm sorry what he did to you Avery, he apologised. It's a pity he isn't a live to pay for what he did to you," he said to me.

I went over to him; knowing that he understands me; without even hearing the full side of the story.

Suddenly I felt him, touched my hands. I wiped my tears away; wanting him to comfort me within his arms. My eyes widen; as I saw him; pushed me away from him. Not wanting me near him.

"You try so hard in hiding your past from me, instead trusting me, Avery, he said angrily and made my mom and the two bitches, blackmailed you."

I widen my eyes even more; knowing he found out what I was going through

"That's why you've been ignoring me these four days," he said angrily.

"I thought you would leave me if you find out about my horrible past," I cried to him.

"I love you Avery! he shouted angrily; as he grabbed me within his arms. How can I leave you when this heart only belongs to you ?" he inquired me.

I stared within his dark eyes; hearing him said that; as tears not only escape my eyes but his aswell.

He again; let go of my body; preventing me from feeling his warm touch.

"I know the type of person, my brother was, he said. I know what he is capable of. But, I thought I knew you and I thought you trust me enough," he looked deep within my eyes with anger.

All along I was afraid that he'd leave me. If he found out what I did.

But he didn’t look at me, as a murder but only his mate.

"I'm sorry, I apologized to him. While I held his hand.

"No," he answered me; leaving me.

"Don't leave me, Liam, please," I begged him; while he started to walk away from me

"Liam!" I called him

He then stopped at the entrance door of the store and turned around to look at me.

"I've never felt a love so strong everytime I'm with you, he said.

But, I can't do this anymore knowing that you don't trust me to share your pain with me."

I saw him turned his back.

"Liam," I called him..

He quickly transformed within his wolf form and ran away.

I was about to chase him. But, Rosa held my naked body.

"No!" I shouted at her

"Give him sometime," she said.

I turned towards her; wrapping my arms around her neck while I cried for the alpha.

How can I be so stupid, I thought. None of this wouldn't have happened. If I had told him the truth, all along.
