Chapter Forty Seven: The beginning of losing the love of my life

"Hmmm," I made a soft sound; as I moved my body.

I then felt the alpha's warm hand, against my hand.

I open my eyes; while I lay flat on my back and turned my head to look at him.

"Thank the moon goddess, you're awake, he said worriedly. If I had lost you. I don't know what would become of me," he said.

As he removed himself from the chair, he had carried to sat beside me.

He Kissed me, on my right cheek, with his soft lips. I then saw his bedroom door; being pushed, wide open, quickly and there a dark hair doctor came in. She looked within the same age as Paisely.

The alpha turned around as soon as she entered his room.

"Why the hell you were taking so long, if anything happens to my Luna. I will kill you!" Liam shouted angrily at her.

"I'm sorry sir, she apologized. It's not my fault. I got the news late from my head doctor, Miss Eutis," she again apologized. As she stood at the door. Frighten by the alpha.

"What are you waiting on, to look at my Luna?!" Liam again shouted.

The dark hair doctor ran over to me and started examining my body with her instruments and check my temperature.

"What is wrong with her?" Liam inquired her, worriedly.

"She's healthy," the doctor answered her.

"Have you eaten, anything from morning?" the doctor inquired me.

I shook my head; telling her no.

"That could be the reason why she fainted," she explained to my worried mate.

Liam lower his head to my face quickly and again kiss me on my cheek.

"Everything is going to be fine babe," he assured me.

I smiled at him; knowing it will never be; After hearing him and his pack member private conversation.

But, who could be the wolf, his pack member found here?, I thought worriedly.

I mean, everyone was killed at my old home, Chester Lake.

So, who could it be; I worried even more?

"Just make sure she eats on time," the doctor informed the alpha; as she packed up her medical instruments within her, black bag; in leaving.

"I'm going to get you something to eat, right now," Liam said; as he pulled my hand up to his face and kissed it; placing my hand to rest on my belly as he went off.

As he exit the room; I watch him until I started to pay attention to the doctor. Who too watched stared at my mate. As he left the room.

She then turned her attention back to packing her black bag.

I couldn't stop thinking of who it was.

If Liam find out my secret. I could lose him. The only person that loves me And I don't want that. I'm happy where I'm am, now. And he makes me feel save.

I lower my eyes onto the bed, even more worried.

Suddenly my eyes widen in surprise.

I wished, I had change the white sheet, before I left the room.

It had small stains that were visible to the eyes, stains of my mate cum.

"Oh..." I said softly. Not wanting the doctor to hear me.

I then push myself over the yellow stains. That was hopeless in doing so. For it was all over the bed.

"Oh shit," I heard the doctor said; while she searched for something in her bag.

I then saw her turned towards me.

I hope she doesn't see the stains, I worried. It would be embarrassing. I thought, as she approach me.

In her hand I saw a small bottle. That could be conceal just within the palm of your hands. It was clear and had a bright white liquid inside of it.

As she came over to me; I saw her started to notice the sheet.

I felt so ashame.

"Is that blood stain?" I heard her said. 

I sat up on the bed, looking to see what she was talking about and there I too saw small stains of blood. That came from my neck. When the alpha marked me.

I pushed myself at the side of the bed. Wanting her to stop paying attention to the bed.

"What is that?" I asked her. Wanting her to pay attention to me only.

"I'm sorry, she apologized. I took up the wrong bottle."

I then saw her reached into her bag again; for another small bottle. It was not clear as the next bottle. It was very dark. I could not see what was inside of it.

She open the bottle; bringing it to my lips.

"Drink it she said, it's a herbal tonic that will strengthen the body."

As I was about to take it from her. I heard the door knob turned. the doctor quickly place back the small, dark bottle into her bag and hurriedly went to the door; leaving. As the alpha came in.

"Goodbye alpha," she said as she was about to went through the door.

"Wait I need it!" I said loudly to her.

My body needed strength after what had happened. I was now feeling weak and I wanted the herbal tonic.

If I should try to escape from mate. If he ever finds out.

"Just eat healthy and on time," she said; stepping outside of the room.

"Doctor Alice, the apha stopped her. While he held a gold tray with a cup of tea, juice, slices of apples, toast bread and sausage. What does my Luna wants? he asked her curiously.

The doctor turned around slowly to look at the alpha. I could see within her eyes how nervous she was and how terrified she was of my mate.

"It's nothing important," she said.

"Show me!" Alpha Liam shouted. Her body jumped frightenly. It scared the hell out of me.

I saw her reached into her bag. While  her hands shake and take out the small bottle.

"Here it is, she showed him; holding the first bottle. She wanted to give me first. That had the white liquid. It's a vitamin, in strengthing her body," she lied.

The alpha turned towards me; still holding the tray of food. He had carried for me.

"Is that what you wanted, my love?" he inquired me.

I stared within his dark eyes. Not knowing if I should tell him; that's not what I wanted. I mean, what if I told him, It was the next bottle and later found out that she was trying to poison me. He will surely kill her.

All I had to do, was to tell him. I don't her to ever be my doctor; in not seeing her again.

I removed my eyes from him. And started to look within the doctor brown eyes. I could see how scared she was. That made me felt sorry for her.

"Yes, I answered my mate. But I change my mind. I don't want it anymore," I said to him.

"Okay," he answered me. Placing the tray on the bed side table.

"You may leave now," he instructed the doctor.

The doctor glance at me and hurriedly went off.

I then remove myself from the bed; trying to stand up.

Liam hurriedly came towards me; preventing me from standing.

"Babe, he called me, please don't try to stand now," he instructed me.

"I need to change the sheet," I informed him.

He pulled me towards his body; holding me and sat on the side of the bed. While he place me to sit within his lap.

"First you need to eat," he informed me. While he started to place a small slice of apple within my mouth.

I began to eat it and started on the toast bread and sausage; next the cup of tea. I was now full.

I then gave him the cup to place back onto the tray.

"You scare me when I saw you fainted," he said.

"I'm fine now," I assured him; with a smile.

He held me within his arms even more; resting his face at the side of my face. I closed my eyes; enjoying the warmth of his body. I wanted to cry. But I didn't wanted him to see. For I knew he would want to know the reason for my tears.

I then heard him sigh.

"I dont want to leave you right now," he said to me.

"I'm fine," I again informed him. While removing myself from his lap and turned towards him holding his hands.

He removed himself from the bed and kissed me on my forehead.

"I won't be long, I promise you," he said as he exit the room.

As he closed the door behind him. I stood at the side of the bed; waiting for him to leave the yard.

Finally he was gone.

I sat on the side of the bed; giving him time to go where ever he was going.

I didn't wanted him to see me on the road.

Staying here; while he finds out what had happened to his brother was killing me. I too had to find out information about the wolf. Who is somehow connected to me. Even if I had to seek help from the people on the street. They must had heard the news as well; I thought worriedly.

After waiting for half an hour. I jumped off the bed and went down stairs.

I almost fell; seeing that his wicked mother was still there.

She too was leaving. She open the door in exiting the alpha's home.

She then glance at me and turned her face; not caring of what had happened to me earlier.

As we both exit the house. I walked behind her, slowly.

"I see you're fine," she spoke to me.

"Yes," I answered her; as I continued to walk behind her. Until we reached the main area in Wereville.

I then saw her turned towards a different direction.

I felt so relieved. I started to walk, quickly. Until I was stopped by doctor Alice.

"Hi Avery," she called to me.

I didn't want to answer her and walked off.

"I'm sorry," she apologized.

"For trying to poison me?" I asked her, angrily.

"Paisley force me to do so," she explained to me.

"What!" I said to her frightenly.

"It wasn't poison, she explain. She heard that Liam and you mated last night after he marked you. So she wanted me to give you the herb within the black bottle; to cleanse your body. So you'll never get pregnant for the alpha."

How did she know that?, I thought.

How did they knew what had happened between me and the alpha last night.

"You people are sick," I cursed her; running off.

I had bigger problem to deal with now; that could cause me to lose my mate than to stand here wasting my time with her.

"I'm sorry Avery," I heard her again. Trying to apologize to me.

Soon. I was within the market area of Wereville; near Rosa shop.

I stopped within the centre, as people carried out there business; in buying and selling clothes, food many more.

How can I be so stupid. I thought, angrily.

I'm so foolish, I again, though; that I could ever find out who the person, Liam pack member found, out on the street.

Liam is so secretive with what he does as an alpha. I'll never find out anything on the street.

While my back turned; not knowing what to do. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turned around and there, I saw my mate.

He no longer looked the way. He left me this morning. He looked angry.

"Liam," I called him, frightenly. Seeing it was him who had touched me

He didn’t smiled at me like he normally did.

"I want to ask you a question, he said and I want you to be honest with me, he said," with a stern face.

"Okay," I said scared of what he was going to ask me.

I could feel a strong, bad feeling, rushing within me; knowing that it was not going to be a good question.

Did he find out. I was the one who killed his brother. I thought worriedly.

I wanted to run. But was too scared to. Even if I tried. I will never outrun him.

My body began to shake nervously; as I waited on his question.

"The person I've found out. Who somehow is connected to my brother death, seems to know you" he said.

My heart almost stopped; hearing him, said that. I wanted to cry to him and begged him to listen what had truly happened; for him to understand me. But I just stood there like a pole. Unable to say anything; as if I no longer had any control of my body.

Terrified; of the question that was about to leave his lips.
