Chaotic drive
Chaotic drive
Killian POV
We’d been waiting long enough for me to start questioning my life choices.
Jason was leaning against the wall, calm as always, scrolling through his phone like we weren’t about to head out.
Odin stood beside him, hands in his pockets, observing everything like he always did—quiet, calculating.
Riven?
Riven was pacing.
Not stressed.
Just… restless.
“They’re still not down?” he muttered.
“They’re girls,” I replied simply. “That answers your question.”
Jason huffed a quiet laugh.
Riven stopped pacing and tilted his head slightly.
“I can already tell Hera is struggling with her hair,” he said.
Odin chuckled.
“Not with Archie in the room,” he replied. “He probably took over fifteen minutes ago.”
I smirked.
“Yeah, and now she’s threatening his life while he fixes it.”
Right on cue—
Footsteps.
Multiple.
We all looked up.
And then—
They appeared.
One after the other, descending the stairs like they had something to prove.
Astrid first.
Black dress.
Dangerous.
Sable right behind her—red, bold, confident.
Then Hera—
Yeah.
That dress?
Someone was definitely going to get hurt tonight.
Elsie followed, softer but still catching attention in a way that made you look twice.
Zora
Sharp. Clean. Effortless.
And Dove—
Yeah… Dove knew exactly what she was doing.
For a second—
None of us spoke.
Then
“Damn,” Damon muttered under his breath.
Jason let out a low whistle.
“Okay,” he said. “This is… unfair.”
I folded my arms, eyes locked on Astrid as she walked closer.
“Not bad,” I said.
She raised a brow.
“Not bad?” she repeated.
I smirked.
“Alright. You look dangerous.”
“That’s better.”
Hera flipped her hair slightly.
“Of course we do,” she said. “What did you expect?”
“Less chaos,” Riven replied.
“Wrong group,” Dove shot back.
We moved together toward the garage, the energy shifting instantly—lighter, louder, alive again.
Hera stretched her arms slightly as we stepped in.
“So,” she said, glancing around, “how are we pulling up?”
I didn’t answer immediately.
Just smirked.
Then I clicked the key in my hand.
Beep. Beep.
The sound echoed as multiple headlights flashed on.
Luxury.
Clean.
Untouchable.
A Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari 488 Spider, a Rolls-Royce Wraith, a Mercedes-AMG GT, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, and a Range Rover SVAutobiography sat there like they were waiting for us.
Hera’s lips curled.
“Okay,” she said. “Now we’re talking.”
“Two per car,” I said simply.
Astrid stepped forward immediately.
“I’m driving.”
Elsie blinked.
“Same.”
Zora crossed her arms.
“Obviously.”
Dove shrugged.
“I’m not sitting passenger either.”
Sable tilted her head.
“…I’ll drive too.”
Silence.
All of us guys looked at each other.
Then at them.
Then back at each other.
I laughed.
“Of course you will.”
Archie groaned.
“Whatever,” he said, waving a hand. “As long as it’s not my car getting traumatized.”
He turned to Odin.
“Come on, babe—”
“Hold up,” I cut in.
They paused.
“You’re not pairing yourselves,” I said. “Pick a driver. Pair up with a girl.”
Archie blinked.
“…why?”
“Because I said so.It’s a night club come on”
He sighed dramatically.
Then looked at Hera.
Paused.
Shook his head immediately.
“Absolutely not.”
Hera made a face.
“Please. I’d rather walk.”
Everyone burst out laughing.
“You’d cry halfway,” Archie shot back.
“You’d pass out before I do,” she returned.
“Your driving alone is a threat to society.”
“At least I can drive.”
“Oh wow—”
“Enough,” Odin cut in calmly.
He stepped forward.
“I’ll go with Sable.”
Sable looked at him.
He looked back.
“Want to drive?”
She stared at him.
Silent.
Expression unreadable.
Then he pulled out the key and handed it to her.
She glanced down.
Noticed the logo.
A Mercedes-AMG GT key.
Her lips curved slightly.
Then she nodded.
“I’ll drive.”
Odin chuckled.
“Alright then.”
Jason stepped forward next.
“I’ll go with Zora.”
He handed her the key to the Porsche 911 Turbo S.
She took it without hesitation.
“Good choice.”
Damon wrapped an arm around Elsie.
“We’re together,” he said, passing her the Range Rover SVAutobiography key.
Then leaned closer.
“Babe… please don’t scratch it.”
Elsie gasped.
“Babe!! I would never!”
“…you almost did last time.”
“That was one time!”
Riven stepped up.
“Hera.”
She didn’t even wait.
She jingled the keys in her hand.
A Ferrari 488 Spider.
“Already claimed,” she said smugly.
Riven laughed.
“You came prepared.”
“Always.”
I turned to Astrid.
Held out the key.
A Lamborghini Aventador.
She took it, eyes lighting up slightly.
“Nice,” she said.
“Don’t crash it.”
“No promises.”
Of course.
Archie sighed dramatically and turned to Dove.
“Please,” he said, placing a hand on his chest. “Drive my baby gently.”
He handed her the Rolls-Royce Wraith key.
Dove grinned.
“No promises.”
“Why does everyone hate me tonight?”
“No one hates you,” Zora said. “We just don’t respect your attachment to objects.”
We all laughed.
Moments later—
Engines roared to life.
One after the other.
The sound alone?
Yeah.
Money.
Power.
Chaos.
They drove out of the garage one by one.
I stood beside the Lamborghini looking at Astrid with a smile on my face.
She looked at me.
Smirked.
Then leaned over slightly and pushed the door open.
“Get in, big guy.”
I huffed a laugh and slid in beside her.
“Try not to kill us.”
“No promises,” she repeated.
Of course she did.
The engine revved.
The night was waiting.
And just like that—
We pulled out.
Archie POV
I don’t know what I was expecting.
But it definitely wasn’t this.
We pulled out of the gates one after the other, engines loud, clean, expensive—and for a second, I felt proud.
Then I actually paid attention to the driving.
Ahead of me—
Astrid in the Lamborghini? Smooth.
Zora in the Porsche? Controlled.
Hera in the Ferrari? Aggressive… but somehow still perfect.
Elsie? Careful but confident.
Sable?
Yeah… I didn’t even want to talk about how effortlessly she handled that car.
I blinked.
“…where did they learn how to drive like this?” I muttered.
Beside me, Dove didn’t even look at me.
“Life,” she said simply.
“That’s not an answer.”
“It’s enough.”
I scoffed and leaned back slightly.
Okay.
Fine.
Maybe tonight wouldn’t be that bad.
Maybe—
The speakers exploded.
Music.
Loud.
Violently loud.
I flinched.
“What the hell—?!”
Dove was already vibing, one hand on the wheel, the other tapping against it as the beat filled the entire car.
“Swim,” she said proudly. “By BTS.”
I stared at her.
“What is this?”
Her head snapped toward me, offended.
“What do you mean what is this?”
“I mean—what is this?” I repeated. “Why is it attacking me?”
“They’re back,” she said like that explained everything.
“…who is back?”
She gasped.
“Don’t do this.”
“I’m serious.”
She shook her head in disappointment.
“Wow. I can’t believe you right now.”
“Believe what? I just asked a question!”
“Just enjoy the music!”
“I would if it wasn’t trying to blow my ears off!”
She ignored me completely, turning the volume up even more.
I reached over immediately.
“Okay—no—absolutely not.”
I turned it down.
Peace.
Silence—
Nope.
The volume shot right back up.
Louder.
I froze.
Slowly turned to her.
She wasn’t even looking at me.
Just driving.
A small, smug swirl of her fingers in the air.
My jaw dropped.
“…are you serious right now?”
She smiled.
Didn’t say a word.
I groaned, dragging my hands down my face.
“How did I forget you’re a witch?”
“No idea,” she said sweetly. “Seems like a personal problem.”
I leaned back in my seat, defeated, as the music blasted again.
“This is harassment,” I muttered.
“This is culture,” she corrected.
“Same thing.”
She laughed.
And somehow—
I found myself tapping my foot.
Just a little.
Don’t ask me why.
Jason POV
I should’ve taken the quiet car.
I should’ve known better.
I really should’ve.
Zora drove like she had something to prove.
Not reckless—
Just… intentional.
Every turn smooth.
Every shift precise.
Like she’d done this a thousand times.
I respected it.
What I didn’t respect—
Was the volume.
“PUT HER IN CHANEL—!”
I flinched slightly as Zora belted out the lyrics at the top of her lungs, one hand on the wheel, the other pointing forward like she was performing on stage.
“—HOW YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME, YOU AIN’T PUT ME IN CHANEL—!”
“…oh my God,” I muttered, rubbing my temples.
The song blasted through the speakers—
“Chanel” by Tyla.
“You will loooveee it”
Zora didn’t miss a beat and seconds later,
“—SAY YOU WAN’ SEE ME, WHERE YOU GON’ TAKE ME?!”
“I’m definitely gonna take you home,” I said flatly. “I just don’t want to hear it at this volume.”
She ignored me.
Of course she did.
“PUT HER IN CHANEL—!”
I leaned my head back against the seat, eyes closed for a second.
“Zora.”
No response.
“Zora.”
Still nothing.
“Zora.”
She glanced at me briefly.
“Hmm?”
“…lower the volume.”
“No.”
I opened one eye.
“No?”
“No,” she repeated, smiling. “You’ll survive.”
“I’m not sure about that.”
She laughed and turned it up slightly.
I exhaled slowly.
“This is my villain origin story.”
“Relax,” she said. “You’ll thank me later.”
“I won’t.”
“You will.”
“I won’t.”
She grinned.
And kept singing.
Loudly.
Very loudly.
Odin POV
This?
This was the right choice.
No chaos.
No screaming.
No near-death experiences via music volume.
Just—
Vibes.
Sable drove smoothly, one hand on the wheel, the city lights reflecting softly against the windshield as music played at the perfect volume.
“Midnight Sun” by Zara Larsson filled the car.
Calm.
Clean.
Good.
I leaned back slightly, nodding along to the rhythm.
“This is nice,” I said.
Sable hummed in agreement.
“Told you.”
A brief pause.
Then I glanced at her.
“Would you believe me if I said I know the choreography to this?”
She turned her head slightly.
Looked at me.
Then—
“Hell yeah,” she said without hesitation.
I blinked.
“…that fast?”
She laughed.
“You give off ‘secret dancer’ energy.”
“I do not.”
“You do.”
I shook my head, but a small smile slipped through.
“That’s dangerous information.”
“Why?”
“Because now you’re going to expect proof.”
She smirked.
“I already do.”
I sighed.
“Maybe another time.”
“Coward.”
“Observer.”
She laughed again.
And for a moment—
Everything felt… normal.
Just music.
The road.
And the quiet kind of fun that didn’t need chaos to exist.
