The Rebirth

Chapter 25

Elton’s POV

"Do you remember the witchcraft book on Wolf Mountain?"

"Are you talking about the ominous book in the forbidden area?" Brande pondered for a while and said, "What are we waiting for?" his eyes lit up with hope again.

We hurriedly came to Wolf Mountain.

The mountain was still as desolate as ever, except for the countless animal bones scattered around, the only difference from before was the presence of Whitney, the disheveled crazy woman.

Whitney did not receive much attention from me.

I just glanced at her lightly. Her current state was entirely self-inflicted.

I only had one thing on my mind, how to revive my Tanya.

I skillfully cut my palm and placed it on the stone door.

"Hey, who is visiting?" a hoarse voice came from the altar.

It was the spirit of the book at work.

"Do you have a way to revive someone?" I asked.

"Of course, I am the all-powerful witchcraft spirit."

"But why do I need to tell you?"

I was struggling to suppress my anger as I coldly drew my weapon. "It's simple, if you don't tell me, then you're not necessary to exist. Want to try it? I always do what I say."

As I spoke, I slowly caressed my weapon, as if I could unleash a sharp sword aura in the next second.

"How dare you threaten the omnipotent spirit of magic!" Brande was impatient with my nonsense.

"Tsk tsk tsk, life can only be exchanged, and the only thing that can be exchanged equally with life is life," the spirit of magic said slowly.

"Life? Can you be more specific?" Brande asked sternly.

"I need half of both of your lives to revive the person you want to revive equally. Actually, to be more precise, this is reincarnation, and only I, the great spirit of magic, can do it." The spirit of magic laughed heartily.

"Hahaha," itlaughed loudly after speaking.

I just ignored the insanity of the spirit of magic and turned to Brande, asking, "What do you think?"

Without hesitation, Brande replied, "I'm willing. That arrogant book isn't wrong about one thing - only it can do it. I'm willing to give half my life for my mate."

I nodded to show that I understood, then turned to the spirit of magic and asked, "Where will she be reborn? Can we predict it?"

"Oh, you're underestimating me by asking such a question," the spirit of magic bragged.

"After her reborn, there will be traces of my magic on her - a magical flower from the other side. As for the place of rebirth, it can only be within my control, in the White Wolf Clan."

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's begin," I said.

Brande and I closed our eyes and sat in the center of the altar after the book’s words.

"Let's get started then," the spirit of magic said.

As it spoke, a thick aura of witchcraft rose from the altar, forming a series of protective shields.

To the surprise of everyone, the blood of us inside the protective barrier flowed out of our bodies and merged into a river of blood, flowing into the Book of Witchcraft.

God Eye’s View

In a dimly lit chamber, where a group of elders has gathered anxiously around the twins. The room is filled with an eerie silence, punctuated only by the faint flickering light of candle flames. The protective barrier surrounding the brothers glows faintly, revealing their troubled expressions.

The elders who followed the two gathered together, looking at them in deep concern.

In contrast to the tense atmosphere, White stands off to the side with a heavy expression on his face. He appears nervous and worried, scanning the scene intently as if trying to anticipate any sudden changes. He worried that if the plan succeeded, all his efforts would be in vain.

Suddenly, White's attention is drawn to the scattered remains of long-dead bodies that litter the floor nearby. Without warning, he briskly walks over to one of the corpses and picks up the skull with a swift motion. With a strong grip, he crushes it effortlessly, sending fragments of bone scattering across the ground.

These corpses had already decayed over time.

White then turns his attention toward the altar at the center of the room. With a forceful wave of his arm, he causes the structure to shake violently, causing dust and debris to fall from its surface. The two brothers inside the protective barrier suddenly cough up blood, and the membrane surrounding them flickers erratically.

This sudden disturbance caused the two brothers to cough up blood, and the protective membrane around the altar began to flicker.

The air in the room seems to grow thick with tension as the elders look on in alarm, unsure of what will happen next.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity, the protective barrier surrounding the brothers disappears, leaving them exposed and vulnerable.

The barrier disappeared without a trace, and everything returned to normal.

"Damn it, what happened just now?" exclaimed the spirit of witchcraft angrily. "What's wrong? Did we not succeed?"
