Fight Back
Chapter 24
Elton’s POV
Brande looked at me who was in deep thought and asked puzzledly, "Why are you in such a low mood after winning the battle?"
I paused and said, "Don't you feel something is wrong?"
"Something's wrong? It seems a bit strange when you say that?"
"Usually we don't say that we are completely crushed, but they are not so weak. Today is a bit strange. Does their team seem to be delaying time? And we are getting farther and farther away from the ethnic group."
Brande thought for a while, "Oops, Tanya!"
Tanya.
"Damn,"
We had left her alone in the room.
Brande and I rushed to her room, our hearts pounding with fear.
But there was no one in the room.
The room was empty. There was no sign of Tanya anywhere.
We searched the room frantically, looking for any clues as to where she might have gone. But there was nothing - no note, no indication of where she might have gone.
It was as though she had vanished into thin air.
"Damn it!" I yelled, "Who can tell me where is Tanya?!"
My furious eyes seemed to be about to crush people.
As my anger boiled over, a surge of energy coursed through my body. My muscles tensed and tightened, causing the already thin clothes I was wearing to tear and rip apart.
With a fierce snarl, I transformed into a wolf in an instant. My fur bristled with fury as I glared out at the world through sharp, amber eyes.
"Who!" Brande said viciously. He turned as well.
His claws dug into the ground as he took a step forward, his teeth bared in a menacing snarl. I could feel the power coursing through his veins, making him maybe stronger and faster than any wolf could ever be.
This is the second time he has lost Tanya.
"Damn it, I swore I wouldn't let Tanya get hurt again, how long!"
At this time, White came from a distance, knelt down on the ground and cried, "King! It's Carlos, Carlos, I saw him kill your wife and take her away. I didn't stop him, I If you don’t have the face to see you, just kill me!”
A bolt from the blue.
Brande staggered and swayed, muttering to himself in disbelief. "Impossible, impossible," he repeated over and over again. "How could this be? Is Luna playing a cruel joke on me?"
I put my hand on his shoulder, trying to steady him. "Brande, calm down," I urged him. "We need to figure out what happened first."
But Brande was beyond reason. His eyes were wild with fury as he ranted about Carlos, the man who had taken Tanya from us. "I'll kill him, I'll kill him!" he shouted, his voice rising to a fever pitch.
I knew that we needed more information, and fast. Turning to White, I asked him what had happened.
"Yes king! We all saw with our own eyes that Tanya was mutilated and then taken away by Carlos..."
Tanya, my lover, was dead. The thought was too much to bear, and tears streamed down my face uncontrollably.
I rushed to the sky and shouted Carlos' name, my voice echoing across the empty expanse.
The anger that had been simmering within me for so long now boiled over, spilling out in waves of raw emotion.
My muscles tensed and bulged beneath my fur as I transformed into a massive, snarling beast. My teeth gleamed dangerously in the moonlight, and my eyes burned with an intensity that could have set the world on fire.
The rage I felt was almost overwhelming, and I knew that I had to act fast before it consumed me completely.
Brande's rage had turned into grief, and he collapsed onto the ground, sobbing. "Luna, please," he begged. "I really loved her. Give her back to me!"
I rushed to the sky and shouted loudly: "Carlos, I will definitely kill you!"
Brande slowly stood up, his face twisted with anger and grief. "I'm going to kill Carlos," he said, his voice low and dangerous.
Revenge would not bring Tanya back.
We needed a solution.
I took a deep breath and said, "Don't worry."
I said firmly, trying to calm Brande down. "We will find a way to make this right."
But Brande was beyond reason.
"Don't worry!" Brande shouted in a broken voice, "Don't worry? This is my lover, you tell me not to worry?"
"You dare not go and I will go by myself!"
His eyes were wild with fury as he ranted about how much he loved Tanya and how Carlos had taken her from him.
I could feel my own anger rising at the injustice of it all. But I knew that I had to stay focused if we were going to find a solution.
"Brande! Enough!" I yelled
"Even if you kill him, can Tanya come back?"
There was a moment of silence as Brande considered my words. I could see the pain etched on his face, and I knew that he was struggling to keep his emotions in check.
"I have another way."
"A solution?" Brande asked as if grasping at the last straw
"any solution?"
