Darrien's POV
I hold up Bella to help her walk. I watch in awe as Catherine lights the way and helps the other Omegas wolves. Kayden is helping the other wolves and is getting everyone to our pack, as we have a way to find out who is loyal. Our team of therapists is ready to help with any mental services, and our pack doctors are prepared for any injuries. Oh, my name is Darrien."
"Bella, Thank you. Is it safe to be around her?" I see fear as she points at Catherine.
"HA. Yes, she is my mate and Kayden's cousin. She is very protective of her family; you are her family now." I try not to laugh at her face as the shock finally settles in.
We finally made it to the end of the tunnel the fresh air rushing in. As we walk back into our pack I see our elite team of warriors who had returned with Alpha John help the rest of the pups and female omegas. "To the apartment building. Attention everyone in each apartment is clean clothes and toiletries. Please help the pups inside and get them cleaned up. Once you have join us on the main floor for food." I use my Alpha command and watch as they accept me as their leader. I walked with Bella to the pack house we had a pack doctor check her over, I left them to speak.
I walked into the kitchen to see every stove and burner running. It looked like an Oiled Five restaurant. After reviewing the staff and food amount ask the head cook if she needs anything. "Just more food alpha. We have gone through our food allotment for the month just today." I nod and walk to my office where Catherine is sitting staring at the laptop with a frown.
"Sweetheart, what going on? What has you making that face?"
"Darrien, 65 new pups 16 she-wolves of those 16 she-wolves 10 are pregnant. I have spoken to all of them every DAMN FUCKING PREGNANCY IS HIS!" she screams slamming her hand on my desk. "They were forced." she started to cry. I rushed over to her and hugged her.
"Shhhh. Did the pack doctors speak to them." She nods between the sobs.
"Okay so will have the therapist meet with them and see what we can do to help them heal."
"Thank you." She tilts her head up and kisses my cheek.
"Okay, I have to order a ton more food as we will be out by the end of the night."
"Great minds think alike. I already ordered the food yesterday but since we have blown all our food my order won't last. Oh, I did order more clothes and linen options since we have more families from Blue Claw Pack."
"Why don't you go check on the pups and shut off the beautiful mind? I will be downstairs setting up the Pack merges for the pack link. Aiden should be almost finish checking their loyalities."
"Is Aiden doing it individually or in a group setting?"
"Oh, he can do a group of 25 at a time. Makes it easier."
"Okay. I already checked on the pups. I will come to help with the pack merging and afterward, I want to see Bella and Jamie. Kayden is meeting us there in an hour." I place my hand in hers and kiss each finger. We walked to the set stage and saw Council Member Mark with Jackie in cuffs.
"ATTENTION ALL WOLVES!." I boom as Catherine snicker and hands me a microphone. I smile at her. " Please come forth Blue Claw Members. We are merging the packs. Some pack members who are loyal to Alpha John will be removed from the area and taken to the royal Pack." The crowd cheers."This pack is blessed with magic. Please form a line make a small blood drop in the bowl and then stand in line." Catherine and I watch the crowd finish as I hold her hand and walk to the bowl. "Please repeat after me. I, your name, swear to protect and defend the Red Knight pack." after I hear the whole crowd finish Catherine and I cut our hands and let the blood drip. "Please open your mouths." Catherine makes small blood drops in the air into their mouths. She drips her finger in the blood and I do the same. She winks and licks my finger as I stare at her in awe she takes this moment to slide her finger in my mouth. I smile at her and kiss her lips. "Welcome to Red Knight Pack I am your Alpha Darrien. I have an open-door policy."
"I am your Luna Catherine. I have a therapist available to you along with pack doctors. If you wish not to stay in our pack please come see me during office hours I will gladly help you find your forever pack. If you want to find your mate the Royal Pack hosts a mating ball every few months."
"I am Council Member Mark. Please can I have Brody come to the main stage?" I took in a shape breath as we walked back to the stage. I saw this skinny almost selection-looking man walk up to the stage he had a cane in one hand and Catherine went to help him up the stairs. "Brody after speaking with you wanted to speak with your mate Jackie." Catherine walked him to a chair.
"I want to speak with her before I make my decision," Brody whispered. We nod and step back except Council Member Mark. "Why Jackie? We have been mated since we were pups. Why?" Even thou we are a bit of distance we can hear the pain in his shaken voice.
"Alpha John is my Father! If I wanted to be with you I had to become Luna and then kill Darrien. My Dad said if I did you would live and be my mate after I pass over the the pack to him. PLease Brody I love you and struggled every day with my actions to make the ugly asshole that I loved him. Please forgive me. Let's leave the pack and go somewhere quiet just us." She was crying begging on her knees.
"I know that you think that way. But why after the break up did I still feel the betrayal pains? Why did you say you had a mate? Why after all of it ended and they knew you were the spy did you continue to lie about the layout of the pack house, why lie about the hidden tunnels, and why keep trying to sleep with him?" The pain and anger were very evident in his voice.
"I knew if I gave the information away Daddy would hurt you. I had to pretend that I had a mate because Daddy sent him to be my mate in hopes that he would become jealous. I have been conditioned for so long not to share information that why I didn't say anything about the tunnel and the layout. I am sorry." She was sobbing even with a snot bubble forming with a few breaths.
"AND AFTER why were you trying to seduce the Alpha that was going to save your mate?" His anger grew with his impatience.
"Well.... I wanted us to have a pack. I wanted you to be the Alpha." She was finally confused and I felt the betrayal.
"Council member Mark. I have made my decision." Catherine and I step forward. "After speaking with Council Member Mark and the charges against you. I Brody Justine Jade hereby reject you Jackie Raine Rose as my mate."
"NO" Jackie collapses to the floor.
