Chapter 57: Marriage & Luna Ceremony
Catherine's POV
One year later.
Brody was hospitalized for four months and has recovered. He has taken over for Emily, as he said I want no stress and need calm, and cooking does that. Jackie was still in jail after the council removed her wolf. I still remember his comment at Jackie's sentencing "Oh, I am sorry I forgot your name I would love to stay in touch oh right Go Fuck yourself for covering a rapist asshole." It was at this time that Aiden was able to discover that the wolf as not want to be a spy and leave her mate; however, after a few betrayals, her wolf went feral and crazed. So the Council decided that her wolf removal was best. Last month, Tracy went into labour. It was hard on her, but the birth of Beta's baby boy was. They named Noah. He is so cute with his black hair and green eyes. Artemis is already in love. Frank, Tracy, Darrien, and I decided to raise the kids together and to tell them when they are older about mates.
Today is my Luna Ceremony and my re-marriage to Darrien. I am wearing a beautiful, fluffy off-white wedding dress with lavender ribbon that Artemis and Apollo found for me. Dad is styling my hair as Father is fussing over the twins' outfits. Apollo is in a sharp-looking suit, and Artemis is wearing a lavender princess dress, as she calls it. The wedding march music starts. "Ready, everyone?" My dad and father nod as we set up the twins to walk out.
"Here are the rings, buddy. Just walk straight to Daddy." My dad said to tie the pillow to her hand.
"Here is your flower basket. Toss out the petals, and when you get to Daddy, kiss him and stand by Beta Tracy." My father said, handing her a basket of white and lavender petals. I watch as Kimmy, Tally, and Tracy line up. It is a bit funny as Kimmy and Tally have huge bellies that are due any day. I thought I might have to move the ceremony. Kimmy walks out, then Tally, then Tracy, my sweet little girl. I watch as she tosses the petals in the air and twirls around down the aisle.
My little handsome man was ready to walk down the aisle, but ran to me and kissed my cheek. "Mommy, you are beautiful. I am the luckiest boy alive to have you as my mommy." He kissed my cheek and wiped the tear off my other cheek. He then took off to dance down the aisle to Darrien.
"Ready, baby girl." My father came over and kissed my cheek,k and my dad kissed the other cheek. I nodded. We waiting, and the music began with Here comes the bride. I smiled at Darrien as my Dad and Father held my arms and walked with me. Darrien stepped down and held out his hand. I placed my hand in his and he helped me up the stage.
I could see Beta Dolly holding Noah as Artimis was making faces at him. Aiden stepped up beside me as our officiant and started about how he knew about love and the hardships. How happy he was that we found each other. I swear he just kept talking to see if we would rush him along. "Darrien, your vow?"
I could see him stiffen as he took a deep breath. " You were the first person who loved me for me and fell in love with our pack. After everything that we went through, which made you question my love, but not Zeus. I know you were protecting yourself, but it was the worst and possibly the best thing to have happened to me. It helped me understand my love for you without the matebond, and I knew I must try everything to be yours again. Thank you for loving me, as I provide to you that I love you every day." Darrien blew out his breath.
"Zeus, your vow," Aiden said.
"I promise to love you for who you are, and have become. I promise to be patient and remind Darrien that our relationship is rooted in love. I promise to share our whole heart with you and to show you how deeply we care for you. I promise to love you and our family loyally and fiercely until death do us part." Zeus' gruff voice came out.
"Geeze Zeus you really know how to ruin my vows." I heard Darrien whisper to Frank his best man. I smiled.
"Catherine, your vows." Aiden prompted me.
"I'm madly in love with you, my Alpha. I promise that my love for you will grow daily, but I promise to be your friend, your luna, and partner for our challenges and pleasures. I promise to rebuild our lives together for our family. You, my ALPHA, my love, are my everything." I smile at him but notice a few tears on the pack member's face.
"Athena, your vows". Aiden prompts again. I feel her pull toward me in my mind to speak. I giggle as I know her vows.
"Darrien and Zeus, I am happy that we have found our way back to each other. Special during our family chaos, beginning again." I could see confusion again on his face. I'm laughing so hard at the faces."We will have to expand the Alpha floor again as we have two more pups to get ready for." Athena said bluntly.
"What?" Darrien hugged and swung me around, kissing my face.
"Well, I pronounce Man and Wife. As well as Alpha and Luna." Aiden said as Darrien swung my legs as he ran out of the church. Reception is down the hall. I am sure the bride and groom will be back at some point." Aiden finishes with closing words.
Darrien was running to our bedroom. Once there, he gingerly placed me on the bed. "Are you sure you're pregnant with twins?" Darrien's pride and happiness. I pulled out an ultrasound picture showing the babies. "When do we know the gender?"
I kiss his cheek. "I already do," I smirked
"What do I need to do to find out?" I could see the naught glint in his eyes.
"I want a bubble bath, massage, and a cuddle, which comes with a happy ending." I saw him dash off to the bathroom as I giggled at him. As ran back huffing and puffing. "Okay, Okay. Take it easy. We have two girls coming, and I already know the names." I kissed him as I undressed and walked to the bathroom.
