Rachel's Connection To The Alp
As the Alp watched Rachel, he felt Leoma going into heat. His body was heating up. It’s always hot but now it’s even hotter. He needs to be near her for his skin to cool down. Last time she went into heat he was cut badly by the warriors and couldn’t focus on the mating, he had to heal. Looking down at this leathery skin he could see it start to vibrate lightly. Almost like small snakes slithering on his body. Saliva started to drip from his mouth, his eyes grey darker than they already were. He needed to get to Leoma.
Looking one last time at Rachel, knowing somehow, she could sense him he turned to go back to find Leoma. Knowing she wasn’t at the boat since he damaged it to where it was not livable. He had to try and track her. He took off running through the forest, he had to start at her houseboat and then try to track her scent from there.
Knowing that by the time he got to her she would probably be over the poison but that wouldn’t stop him from spreading more on her pink folds.
Meanwhile………
Alexios was asking Rachel what was going on with her body. “I’m not sure, but I think that it has to do with the Alp. My headaches are getting more frequent during the day and now my stomach is killing me. I know it doesn’t make sense, but I felt like it was out in the trees.” Pointing to where she felt the Alp hiding.
Everyone looked at each other, “Levi and Jed, stay here with her.” Kalisto patted Rachel’s shoulder and looked over to Alexios “Let’s go brother.”
“Right behind you.” Alexios said as he took his gun and held it in front of him just in case he had to shoot quickly.
The two warriors walked into the forest carefully, on full alert just in case the creature was hiding. Sniffing the air they smelled it behind a tree. “It must be on the move.” Kalisto stated as he pushed brushes away trying to see which way it went.
“I see broken limbs, it’s going west.” Alexios was pointing down to the ground at some broken limbs.
They picked up their speed not wanting to lose the creatures tracks. After a mile or so Kalisto looks at Alexios and stops. “He’s heading back to Leoma’s boat.”
Shaking his head Alexios looks around “Yeah, I think you’re right, we need to pick up our speed. If he’s running while we’re taking our time, he’s going to get to Leoma soon. I’m going to mind link Galinn and tell him.”
Galinn, we think the Alp is on his way back to Leoma boat, the tracks are heading that way.”
Thanks for the update, hopefully he won’t be able to track her down, but she has been to Levis and now Rachel’s. We need to find it quickly before anyone gets hurt that will be in his way. Galinn mind links him back while laying beside Leoma. Not wanting her to worry he decided not to say anything to her.
The Alp made his way back to her houseboat, walking up to it, seeing it lay on its side he looked down to the dirt below his feet, closing his eyes and concentrating on the scents in the air. As the wind blew across his face, he picked up her sweet scent. Walking in the direction it was taking him. Not caring if any humans saw him, he just walked at a leisure pace so he wouldn’t lose the direction of her scent. He walked for two hours till he stood in front of Levi’s home. Smiling he new this was where the human woman was that had the glowing soul. Thinking that maybe he should have finished taking her soul before he left for Leoma, but his skin was hot, and he needed to mate.
He looked around the yard to make sure there was no danger to him. Then he walked to the back of the house and onto the porch. Reaching for the door he just pushed it in. Breaking the door hinges away from the frame. It fell on the floor, stepping on it the Alp walked inside the home. Sniffing and looking around the home, he followed Rachel’s scent to the bedroom. Touching the bed, he could sense that she had slept there. He saw a faint glowing outline of her figure on the bed. Then he suddenly caught the scent of Leoma. His head jerked up and his eyes darkened.
Jumping out of the back doorway that was busted open he took off running into the forest following the scent. He could feel his skin cooling down. Anger flowed through his veins knowing that her head was dwindling. Someone was mating with her, why else would his skin start to cool off. Saliva started to pour out of his mouth, eyes turning from dark to red. Pausing, he listed his head to the sky and Growled in his deep thunderous voice. His chest was heaving from his anger, He raised his hand and swiped at a tree with his long sharp talons, cutting through the wood like a hot knife through butter. It fell onto the ground in a big crash, hitting other trees as it fell to the ground. Watching the tree fall, he took off sprinting into the thick forest of the mountains.
Kalisto and Alexis were finally at the houseboat when they heard a faint grown from within the forest. They both looked at each other with worried faces. “He’s pissed.” Alexis said to Kalisto.
“Yeah, he’s probably frustrated because he can’t find Leoma.” Kalisto said “Let’s go get him.” They both started to run in the direction of the dark, angry growl. Hoping no one kills in the creature’s way. He could get so angry he could start killing innocent people.
