Chapter 92 Bad news
Madison's POV
I had dozed off the previous night until I heard his voice again.
He probably didn't know I was sleeping, still talking to me.
"But I can try. For you."
Was that meant for me? I asked myself.
Then I confirmed it when he said, " Just don't leave me. Please."
What he didn't know was that, I was already in, deep.
I could never leave him - no matter how he pushed me away.
Yes, his world was dangerous but it was the person that mattered.
He would make a great husband.
"I think I'm ready to come out to the public as your finacée" I announced as I swiped through the pictures I took of the beach resort.
Some had him in it. Those were my favorite.
He didn't know about it.
"You are already out in the public, Belle." Alessandro placed a peck on my forehead, handing me tea. "It's for the cold. I noticed you sniffling."
Smiling sweetly at him, I took it. "Thank you so much."
"Don't." He warned, turning away to hide his smile but I already caught it.
"You're so sweet!!!" I yelled, taunting him. He flipped me off, still backing me.
Chuckling, I zipped on my tea gently so I don't burn my tongue.
"Though I have to throw a proper engagement party. If you're willing, of course." He shrugged, looking at me.
"Do you want that?" I asked, looking at him softly.
"I don't..." He sighed. "But it's expected of me. You'll earn more respect that way and I want that for you." He told me.
"Then that's fine."
"Listen, Maddie. You don't have to do things because you want to please me." He told me, his tone was serious.
"I'm not." I lied, avoiding to look into his eyes
"Yeah, right." He said sarcastically.
We stayed quiet for a while, just enjoying the silence.
"Come with me." He stood up, stretching his hand to me.
Raising my eyebrow at him, I placed my hand on his, letting him guide me.
My forehead creased into confusion as he led me through a lonely, bushy path. Though there was a cleared trail.
How could such modernized house have this at the back?
"I swear, if you're going to show me where you buried the skeletons of the people you killed..."
He halted, turned his face to me. "What the fuck, Maddie? Where did that come from?"
"I read stories, duhh. I've read about these kind of things." I shrugged, still following him.
Like I was casted a spell on.
"Well, considering how bushy this place is... I don't blame you for thinking the way you did." He stopped again, smiling at me.
"Why are we stopping?"
He snapped his finger and suddenly, this small fake grass-like curtain, opens.
My mouth fell open when I entered into the little park. The guards scurried away once we entered.
"You did this?" I turned around, taking in the beautiful scenery.
It looked like an enchanted forest. The butterflies gave the right aesthetic and the little lake by the side.
"I've never had a picnic before." He admitted, sitting on the spread out mat. "I was thinking we could do one together."
Smiling, I sat down too. "I haven't done one too. So it's our first time."
I was so engrossed with my surrounding, I wasn't paying attention to whatever he was doing, until I heard the shutter sound of a camera.
"Come on! That's not fair." I gasped, trying to snatch his phone away from him.
"But it's fair when you take unaware pictures of me?" He smirked at me.
I fluttered my eyelashes, avoiding eye contact with him. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Of course." He chuckled. "You can keep them."
"I can?" I yelled, excited. It wasn't like he was going to convince me to delete them anyway.
"So you admit to taking me unawares?"
"You can't call it that, if you're aware." I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Whatever." He picked an apple, laying his back on the ground.
"So..." I dragged, climbing on top of him, straddling him. "I have few questions."
"You always have questions, Belle." He bit his apple, hard. The juice trickled down his chin, making it more hard to focus. His tongue then darted around his lips, making me all hot.
"I ... Your lips -" I pinched my nose, throwing my head backwards.
"Can't focus? I bet we're both in the same boat." His stomach vibrated as he chuckled.
"Why do you say so?"
"Maddie, your pretty cunt is on my cock. It's hard to focus when I can feel it." He smirked at me, biting the apple again.
I snatched it from his hand, grabbing a bite too before returning it back.
"Really?" He shook his head, smiling. "So?"
"Uh, yeah. Let's say you had a normal life, what would you want to be?" I asked.
I was interested in it.
"I don't get. I'm a business man."
"That's your father's business." I shook my head, telling him that one didn't count.
"What's his, is mine."
"I know but ... Just think about it." I encouraged him.
He sighed, looking at me for a while. "I would've love to be an architect." His eyes sparkled as he spoke about his dreams. "When I was little, I was good at drawing and crafting how houses would look like."
"Including the Manor?"
He smiled softly, nodding. "Yeah. I didn't draw it but yeah, I explain how I wanted it."
"And you enjoy being an architect? Or at least, sketching those houses?"
He nodded, "I was fucking elated. Always wished to see them come to live."
"Can you show me?"
His eyebrow creased in confusion. "Why are you so interested in ... this?"
"Because if it were me, you'd be interested too, baby. " I tapped his nose, just like he always did mine.
He chuckled, shaking his head. He sat up, wrapping his arms around my waist. "You're so different, Madison."
"Why do you say so? I'm just normal. Like every other girl." I pushed his hair back, wanting to see his face clearly. "You're so handsome. Your eyes."
"I don't come close to you but I'll take it." He held my chin, pulling my face close. "Nobody has ever asked me a question like that before, Maddie. You're the first."
"Is that a good thing?" I was unsure of how to react to being the first.
"I guess?" He looked up, into my eyes.
"Is it fine by you?" My eyes flickered between his eyes and lips - very inviting.
He covered the space between us, crashing his lips onto mine, softly. His thumb grazed my cheek, his white pearly teeth smiling at me.
"You make me ...feel. Madison." He spoke softly. "I ... I -" I love you. "I like it some times."
"And the other time?"
"I wish you'd know what's good for you and run the fuck away." He smirked. "Except, I'll still hunt you down and drag you back."
"You took the words right out of my mouth, Alessandro." I wrapped my hand around his neck, leaning in to steal a kiss.
What started as a light kiss, became heated up. I began to grind myself into him, while he groped my ass, kissing me passionately. Heat crawled up my body, my pussy aching for his touch.
But that moment was short lived when his phone rang.
"You... you should pick your call." I broke the kiss, breathing heavily.
"I'm sure it's just Nikolai, trying to pry into my personal life." He pulled me back in for a kiss.
Believing him, I let him. The world was slowly drifting away as we munched on each other's lips, savoring our tastes.
Ringgg!!!
I broke the kiss, smirking at him. "Now that sounds really urgent."
He frowned slightly, searching for his phone in his pocket. "I should've dropped this shit in the house." He muttered to himself but I heard it, laughing quietly.
"Pick it." I nodded at him.
"Look, Stefan. I swear to God, if this isn't -"
"It's about Moon." He spoke, making my heart skip. Alessandro's face went rigid.
"What happened to Moon?" His voice was calm but dangerous.
"She... We..."
"Stefan!" He growled, his tone hard.
"She was abducted at school, Don."
Alessandro's face paled, his eyes locking with mine. I was shocked.
"Fuck." I cussed, standing up immediately without being told twice.
"I will fucking burn down Italy, Stefan. You better tell me you're fucking joking!"
He wasn't.
It had happened.
