Chapter 143 Double Double Cross
They had been in the same clothes since they had been kidnapped, and Isabella could only thank her stars she had taken her jacket.
That was all she had to shield her daughter from the cold rooms they had stayed in.
"Mama!", Sofia called out, unsure of what was going on.
"I'm here darling!
I'm right here!", Isabella said, disheveled with tear streaks on her cheeks.
"Where are you taking us?!", Isabella questioned as they were being escorted down a building.
They had been moved last minute, and it turned out Sofia's necklace had a tracker.
She had thought long and hard on how small the tracker could possibly be, but she still couldn't comprehend it.
"Move!", The guard shoved with the cold metal of the gun.
She couldn't be smart with her mouth, especially not when they had guns and when her daughter could be in danger.
"Where's my friend?!
The man that was with me!", Isabella asked curiously.
But, she hadn't expected to be grabbed harshly in the next moment.
"Look here you wench!
If you speak again, I'm going to kill you and kill your baby!
And I'll tell the boss it was a mistake!
Do you understand me?!", He asked gruffly.
The scar on his face became even more evident as he got closer, his hot breath on her face.
"Yes!", Isabella answered, deciding to keep the series of questions to herself.
She held Sofia even tighter as she continued to walk.
She tried to memorize the details of where they led her to.
It didn't result in anything however, it was all dark and she could barely see a thing.
The man in front suddenly came to a halt, thus, Isabella wondered where they were.
The door in front of them was suddenly unlocked.
And Isabella was shoved in.
The door was closed as soon as they were shoved in.
"Hey!
You can't lock us in here!", Isabella said as she banged on the door.
"Shut up!", one of the guards said as Isabella continued to bang aggressively on the door.
The sound resulting from this action made her unable to hear their receding footsteps.
Thus, she didn't know when they left completely.
"Please!
Let me go!
I won't say a word!", Isabella squealed at the top of her voice, startling her baby.
Sofia started to cry from the entirety of the situation.
Isabella could do nothing but console her baby.
As she turned, she saw a space which looked like it would be slightly comfortable.
A table, a chair, a bed and a working fan
A blanket was on the bed, in turn making Isabella quite happy.
Regardless, she still held out hope that Luciano would find them.
She just hoped they wouldn't be dead by then.

"Tesoro!!", Mia called out as she went forward to hug Luigi.

"You have been working really hard my love!!", Luigi complimented as he released her from the hug.
They shared a kiss soon after, before they hugged again.
The guards were unfazed by their interaction.

She had been introduced to Luciano as a maid years beforehand to help with Madam Paula as Luciano simply didn't like people.

She had made use of Andreas' feelings and seemed like a normal maid the whole time.
She had shared in Luigi's dream of being the real Don, and she had devoted herself to his cause.
Of course that was what he thought, but she saw the master plan.
The one where she intended to double cross him when he got the position.

It has been so exhausting!", Mia replied as he led her to the poolside.

It couldn't have been easy!", Luigi agreed with her.
"So where are we?!
I didn't recognize the place as Pietro drove here." Mia asked as she looked around.
"This is my pool house!
But we're still In Milan!", Luigi answered as he poured je and his young wife a drink.

Wanting to kill yourself before you start answering the title?!", Mia teased as she took the cigar from his lips.

Where's the girl and her child?!", Mia asked like she and Isabella weren't around the same age.
"In a basement somewhere!

So no harm will come to them just yet!', Luigi explained as he caressed his wife.

We've worked so hard!
It's finally coming together!!!", Mia recalled as she shared a kiss with her husband.

The families!", Luigi started as he sipped his drink.
"What about them?!", Mia asked, wondering if something was wrong.
"They agree with me and are completely behind me!
At least most of them!", Luigi said.
"As it should be!
They know who should be The Don!
They should only provide the support you need!", Mia said, fanning his ego.
She needed him to actively pursue this entitlement.
She would be reaping the results anyways.
"I have missed you and how you encourage me!", Luigi said, a big smile on his face as he wrapped Mia in a hug again.

Who else would!", Mia said, still wrapping her husband in her arms.
"It's all coming together!", Luigi said as he sipped his drink.

We're winning and I love this!", Mia exclaimed as she teasingly unzipped her hoodie.
"And I love what I'm about to see!", Luigi smiled flirtatiously as he got the hint.
"Well well!
I have missed your kisses!", Mia said as Luigi was already kissing her neck.
"Let's take this inside!
I just can't wait to ravish you!
I've missed all this you know!", Luigi said, grabbing Mia and slapping her butt.
They felt like they were winning, like nothing could go wrong.
They did have the upper hand!
Until they didn't!
