Chapter 36 Revealed
With anger struggling in her chest, Kelsey directed her car towards the school where her son was also placed. For some reason, she felt that Weylin would still send her son home there.
"Just watch out for you, Weylin. I'll kill you if you mess around," she said incredibly annoyed.
As soon as she parked the car, she was immediately greeted by Raven who was standing there calmly.
She said, "Aiden is already here, Mom."
Kelsey nodded. "Where is he?"
Raven replied uncomfortably, "In the park with Mr. Weylin, Ma'am."
Raven really felt awkward after knowing the fact about Weylin who turned out to be Aiden's biological father. She didn't feel like knowing people's secrets so she said, "Mom Kelsey. I'm sorry."
"Oh, it's okay ma'am. It's not your fault," said Kelsey not wanting to create an awkward attitude between them.
"I'll meet them first and could you come with me for a moment?" she asked.
Even though Raven didn't understand why she had to come along, she still nodded. Kelsey walked over with a racing heart.
And when she saw her son looking engrossed in playing ball with Weylin, her heart was even more chaotic. Suddenly she froze in place. Her son's face was bright and it looked like he was enjoying his time with Weylin.
The boy looked very close to Weylin and didn't even feel awkward at all. What's more, when Weylin stroked Aiden's head gently, Aiden didn't refuse. In fact, normally Aiden didn't like being touched by his head other than by her.
Even her aunt was not allowed to touch her head. However, what she saw now showed just how much Aiden had let Weylin do that over and over again.
How come? Even though Weylin had only been here for no less than two weeks. When did her son get along with strangers so quickly?
Kelsey was very confused. She wanted to call him out but she was afraid that she disturbed his time with his dad.
But, when she remembered about her past with Weylin. Her anger was arose. She couldn't stand it longer. She then walked quickly towards them.
"Aiden," Kelsey called out then.
Aiden turned his head quickly, "Mom. My mom."
The little boy ran to Kelsey and hugged her. Kelsey hugged him back tightly while kissing the top of the Son's head.
Kelsey then caught Weylin approaching them. After letting go of her hug, Kelsey said, "Aiden will you come with Miss Raven first?"
Little Aiden immediately frowned, "Why, Mom? Do you want to be mad at Uncle Weylin?"
Kelsey said to herself, Uncle? So he hadn't told Aiden about him being his real father?
Kelsey quickly replied, "No honey. I just need to have a word with Uncle Weylin."
Aiden looked doubtful, Raven also came closer, "Aiden I will accompany you first, okay? Mom wanted to talk to Uncle Weylin for a while."
Feeling a little confused, Weylin joined in, "Aiden will go with Miss Raven first. After this I will take you home with her, okay?"
Kelsey, "...."
Raven smiled awkwardly, "Well, right? Uncle Weylin and Mom only talked for a while, son."
Little Aiden then grabbed Raven's hand and said, "Okay then. Mom, don't be angry with Uncle Weylin, okay? Uncle Weylin is very good to me. Uncle Weylin is Aiden's friend."
Kelsey surprised, guys? The child said 'Friend' ? This was very rare. As far as she knew, this child was arguably not the
type of child who was easy to get along with and did not easily consider other people to be his friends.
In a word, the person her son considered as a friend was definitely someone very special to his son. Kelsey then she heard Weylin chuckle. She immediately gaped.
When did could Weylin laugh like that? She could even see the man's gentle gaze on her child.
This was not the Weylin she was used to knowing. The Weylin she knew was not like that. The Weylin he knew had a super cold demeanor that could beat the cold in Antarctica. It was unbelievable that the moment she saw Weylin who looked completely different from usual.
"Yes, we are friends," Weylin replied with a happy face.
Kelsey raised her eyebrows in confusion. And so her son and Raven left the park.
Impatiently, Kelsey immediately said, "What have you been doing?"
Weylin replied calmly, “Playing with my son.”
Kelsey immediately swallowed her saliva roughly, "You ...."
"I know he's my son. Why did you hide this?" Weylin asked bluntly.
He didn't want to mince words.
"None of your business," Kelsey replied curtly.
Weylin took a deep breath, "This is my business, Kels. You should have told me you were pregnant? Why did you even run away from our marriage?"
Kelsey gritted her teeth, "What right do you have to rule over me? If I don't want to tell you, what can you do? I'm the one who's pregnant with Aiden. I decide whether I should tell you or not. It's my right."
"But he's also my son, Kels. I have the right over him," Weylin said, not to be outdone.
Kelsey immediately laughed coldly, she then said, "You're just a sperm donor, Weylin Malachy."
Weylin's jaw tightened. He tried desperately so he wouldn't strangle the woman who became the mother from his mom because he was so annoyed.
And when Kelsey saw Weylin's face that was already turning red then she said, "You don't remember if you didn't refuse to marry you? Aren't you supposed to be happy that I left you? You can be free and I live quietly together with my son.
Then why are you acting like I don't want to marry you now?"
Weylin couldn't answer. Of course, how could he deny that? Everything Kelsey said was right on target because that was exactly what happened.
Weylin had no intention of marrying Kelsey. He was still obsessed with pursuing the girl he had stolen his chastity at that time. Seeing the silent Weylin, Kelsey gave another cold laugh.
"Why are you silent? Can't answer?" Kelsey said sarcastically.
Weylin looked up, he then started talking again, "Yeah. I didn't want to marry you before. But I still have the right to know.
You can't hide the fact that Aiden is my son. He needs a father anyway, Kels. You know that."
This time Kelsey smiled sarcastically, "Hey, you forgot. Who made him not get a father's love? And don't forget, he has lived with me alone since he was born. He can live without a father."
Weylin was getting impatient, “Kels. Do you plan on making him live forever without a father?”
"What do you mean?" Kelsey said angrily.
"He needs me," Weylin said with determination.
"Then what do you want to do? Approach it? Give him money? Give him your attention? Is that so?"
"Well, then you don't have to. He's had enough from me," Kelsey said stubbornly.
"No. That's not it," Weylin said, shaking his head.
"Oh, I know. You intend to acknowledge Aiden officially? Yes?"
Weylin sighed, "No."
Weylin then continued, "Marry me!"
He looked at Kelsey seriously and waited patiently for the answer.
