Chapter 26 A Story in the Past
Kelsey stood up without taking Weylin's outstretched hand that was hanging in the air. The beautiful woman quickly ran out of there.
"Miss Lieven," Robert Gray called in a shrill voice.
Weylin immediately turned his head, his ears hurt quite a bit.
"Sorry Mr. Malachy for the rudeness of my employee. I will rebuke her," Robert said seriously.
Weylin instead replied, "No, there's no need."
Robert frowned confused, "But sir. She already ...."
Weylin interrupted Robert, "No problem. Kelsey Lieven is a friend of mine in Manchester. You don't need to do anything."
Robert Gray glared in surprise, as did everyone who was also surprised by that.
However, Weylin seemed to know how to take advantage of the situation so he quickly corrected, "Well. Actually she is not my friend, but my ex-girlriend. Oh, my ex-fiancé to be more precise."
Selena and also Angel gaped wide.
Robert couldn't even speak.
Meanwhile, all the female employees in the office began to wonder about how a Kelsey Lieven could win Weylin Malachy's heart.
After that brief introduction, Weylin had time to say to Robert that it turned out that Selena and Angel also listened because the two of them were standing not far from Weylin.
"Call Kelsey and ask her to come straight to my room!" Weylin said casually.

It was obvious that the women in the office wanted to ensnare him and Weylin was clever in getting them to back off a bit after making statements about his past relationships with Kelsey.
Weylin didn't care whether Kelsey was married or not. For sure he will take advantage of this situation to get away from the women. At least he just said that he and Kelsey only ever had a relationship, right?
Not that at this time they still have a relationship. After all, this was the second meeting after more than five years never met.
What could he do?
Kelsey wae still in the toilet.
She sat up trembling because somehow the trauma just appeared in her mind. Weylin Malachy was like a nightmare to her. She didn't understand why she had to meet again with the jerk man who had made her lose her pride.
In the past, she was able to get out of the trauma with Weylin's treatment, which forced her to have sex in the hospital at that time.
However, her unexpected encounter with Weylin at Ans Bank actually made her enter into that trauma again. Kelsey was crying in the toilet cubicle. She could not face Weylin.
She would never be able to. Hands still shaking, she came out of the toilet and washed her hands then washed her face.
Her tears fell again and at the same time, Selena and Angel, who were looking for Kelsey, entered the toilet.
"Jeez, Kels!" Selena said, surprised to see her best friend in a mess.
Angel immediately hugged her best friend and took her to the pantry which happened to be deserted.
"What happened Kels?" Angel asked holding out a cup of coffee for Kelsey.
Kelsey, who had started to stop crying, answered in a trembling voice, "He. Weylin ... My past."
Selena rubbed Kelsey's shoulder gently, "We know."
Kelsey looked up in surprise, "You guys know? How?"
Angel answered quietly, "He said it himself. He said you were his ex-fiancé. He said it in front of everyone. So, I'm sure everyone at Ans Bank already knows about this, Kels."
Kelsey widened in surprise but she immediately laughed sarcastically, "Yes. The ex-fiancé he never wanted and really hated."
Selena's eyes widened in surprise, "So that's true, Kels?"
Kelsey closed her eyes.
She never told anyone about his past, only Adriana knew everything. Even Gerald didn't know the details about Kelsey's past.
All Gerald knew was that Kelsey was abandoned by the jerk who had made her pregnant. What the full story would be, Gerald never knew.
Gerald still willing to accept it sincerely without asking anything. Kelsey never brought it up and luckily Gerald never asked about it. Meanwhile, her friendship with Selena and Angel just happened.
They were both new employees and were struggling to build a career. Because they felt that they had the same fate and goals, they could become close friends.
However, Kelsey herself also never told about the origins of Aiden Lieven, Kelsey's only son. Her two best friends now also never intended to find out because both of them believed that Kelsey would tell her if they had the right to know.
"Yes. We did get engaged. Well, to be more precise, our wedding date has already been set instead. It was an arranged marriage," Kelsey replied.
Angel still couldn't stop thinking, "You left him or did he leave him?"
"Oh, sorry Kelsey. I'm really curious this time," Angel continued, embarrassed and didn't want to make Kelsey uncomfortable.
Kelsey paused, looking like she was gathering her courage to tell the truth to her two best friends.
"Don't answer if you're uncomfortable," Selena added.
Kelsey smiled, feeling that she had two understanding friends.
"I'll tell you," Kelsey said later.
Selena and Angel immediately lit up and drew closer to Kelsey. Kelsey began to explain how her first meeting with Weylin ended up in bed with the 'Hot Sexy Dancer' from Sweet Heaven who turned out to be Weylin.
The story continues how everything started to fall apart and she ended up in Leeds and gave birth to Aiden. After Kelsey told her story, Selena interjected, "So Aiden is that son of a bitch?"
Angel squeezed his own hand, "That bastard. Uh, I'm sorry I was amazed earlier."
"Kels, what are you going to do?" Selena asked, confused.
"I don't know but I don't want him to know about Aiden. I don't want him to know," Kelsey replied, her voice trembling again.
Angel said, "Kels, that's going to be very difficult. He's here. He could know anytime about Aiden. You can't hide Aiden forever from him."
Selena was very annoyed by Angel's words, "Hey, why are you even scaring him? There must be a way out."
Angel didn't mean that, "Sorry, Kels. But how come, that's a fact."
"I know," Kelsey whispered quietly.
Kelsey knew who she was dealing with, of course she knew at any time that secret could be exposed.
Selena suddenly smiled broadly and snapped her fingers excitedly, "I am know how to keep you safe, Kels."
"What?" Kelsey and Angel asked together.
"Marry Gerald as soon as possible!" Selena said still with her sweet smile.
