Chapter 507: Owe You a Wedding
After Benjamin had had enough of kissing, he bent down and scooped Sophia up in his arms, carrying her toward the bed.
Sophia stared at him: "You haven't showered yet."
"No rush, I'll have to shower again later on anyway."
Understanding what he meant, Sophia's cheeks flushed red.
She noticed that lately Benjamin seemed to be getting better and better at teasing her—it was like he had a natural talent for it.
He could make sure not to hurt her or the baby in her belly while also satisfying his own desires.
Soon, the room filled with Sophia's pleas for mercy. Her mind went blank, her eyes could only hold Benjamin in front of her, with no room for anything else.
After who knows how long, Sophia finally got a moment's rest.
Just as Benjamin was about to fall asleep, he heard Sophia whisper in his ear: "Honey, I love you."
Benjamin chuckled softly and pulled her into his arms. "Don't tempt me, or I'll make sure you don't sleep at all tonight."
Sophia's cheeks turned red, and she immediately stopped moving.
She believed Benjamin would do exactly what he said.
But she still couldn't help bringing up the wedding dress again.
"When did you order the wedding dress? How come I didn't know anything about it?"
Benjamin slowly opened his eyes and thought carefully before speaking. "Two years ago, before my accident."
"So you started preparing for the wedding two years ago?"
"Sort of, but I didn't have time to start implementing it."
Thinking about what happened two years ago, Benjamin couldn't help but sigh.
He had originally planned to give Sophia a grand wedding, but before he could do anything, he fell into the sea.
Then he lost his memory.
He and Sophia missed out on two whole years.
Two whole years.
It was all Lachlan's fault.
Whenever he thought about this, he wanted to tear Lachlan to pieces.
But fortunately, he didn't need to lift a finger—Lachlan was locked up in prison.
The court hadn't officially tried the case yet.
But given the crimes Lachlan had committed, the death penalty was certain.
So he didn't need to do anything.
Then there were Arabella and Celestia, who had already left the White family.
The damage Lachlan caused to the White family could never be repaired.
Arabella and Celestia were too embarrassed to continue staying with the White family.
Preston wasn't a heartless person after all. He transferred two hundred thousand dollars into Celestia's account every year.
This amount might not mean much to people in wealthy families, but it was enough for an ordinary person to live on for a long time.
No matter what Lachlan did, Celestia was still the granddaughter Preston had loved for twenty years.
Preston's feelings for Celestia were hard to let go of.
Everyone else in the White family knew Preston's character—though he seemed stern on the surface, he was actually the softest-hearted.
Now, Arabella and Celestia were renting a private apartment.
Since marrying into the White family, Arabella had never worked outside. Without the White family's support, she would probably have a hard time surviving in society.
As for Celestia, her education was bought with the White family's money—she didn't have much real knowledge.
Only when Celestia truly left the White family did she realize that all these years she had enjoyed things that ordinary people could never experience in a lifetime.
But she hadn't known how to cherish it at the time.
Celestia regretted it deeply now.
Benjamin tightened his arms around Sophia and looked down to ask her, "Honey, will you marry me?"
Sophia's cheeks turned even redder, and she couldn't help scolding him. "Who proposes in bed? Other women get down on one knee and flowers—I got nothing."
"I'll make it up to you tomorrow."
Sophia snorted lightly: "Then I'll give you my answer tomorrow."
Benjamin suddenly leaned over and tickled her. "No way, I need to hear your answer tonight."
Sophia felt itchy all over and couldn't help giggling. "Benjamin, you're cheating."
Benjamin's expression didn't change—he didn't think there was anything wrong with what he was doing.
"As long as you agree to marry me, you can call me a cheat all you want."
"I agree, I agree, okay!"
Sophia was worn out from his teasing and lay on the bed breathless.
Her face was flushed with a light red as she glared at Benjamin, complaining resentfully: "You're so bad!"
Benjamin chuckled softly without saying anything.
Looking at Sophia's charming face, his heart melted completely.
He couldn't help himself and leaned down to kiss Sophia's soft lips again.
"Honey, I love you too."
Sophia's eyes sparkled. "Honey, let me tell you a secret."
Benjamin raised an eyebrow: "What?"
Sophia leaned close to his ear and whispered something.
Then Benjamin froze.
"What did you say? You designed the wedding dress?"
Benjamin was truly shocked.
He knew Sophia was talented and had many identities, but he didn't expect such a coincidence.
When he had asked Ollie to design the dress back then, it was because he thought the clothes Ollie designed would look great on Sophia.
At that time, he was thinking that if Ollie designed the wedding dress, Sophia would definitely love it.
He never imagined that Ollie was actually Sophia.
He lowered his head to rest his forehead against Sophia's, his eyes full of helplessness. "Mrs. White, is there anything else about you I don't know?"
His voice was low and gentle, with an indescribable magnetism.
His sexy, alluring tone was like an electric current passing through her ear.
His warm breath sprayed on Sophia's ear, creating a tingling sensation.
Sophia wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled sweetly: "Nothing else. If there is, it's being Mrs. White and the mother of your child."
Benjamin was amused by her answer and nuzzled her forehead affectionately.
"You're so clever."
Benjamin worked very efficiently. The wedding preparations took only about a week, and he invited many guests and friends.
Everyone from the Smith family came to attend.
Many people came to the wedding today—wealthy families and celebrities from all walks of life.
Sophia had never imagined she would become a bride one day.
She was someone who lived casually and didn't care much about the so-called ceremony.
But from the moment she put on the wedding dress, she finally understood the meaning of marriage.
Marriage wasn't just a ceremony—it was openly telling everyone that she had found the person worth entrusting her life to.
At the wedding, Sophia was beautifully dressed, with a professional makeup artist who gave her exquisite makeup.
The pure white floor-length wedding dress spread out on the ground, looking beautiful and romantic.
Her features were delicate—even without makeup, she was still strikingly beautiful, and with makeup, she was even more captivating.
Robert and her senior brothers all came. Seeing Sophia in her wedding dress, they all couldn't help but tear up.
They hadn't felt anything before, but when Sophia actually put on the wedding dress, they finally felt like their daughter or sister was getting married.
They all felt uncomfortable inside—after all, they had raised Sophia for over ten years.
But after today, they would have to hand Sophia over to another man to take care of.
