Chapter 456 The Last Treatment
Matthew hit a wall with Benjamin and stopped talking.
Alaric was secretly pleased. Though he didn't laugh out loud, his shoulders shook slightly, which made Matthew grit his teeth in frustration.
But what could they do?
They could only wait quietly.
Fortunately, Benjamin was considerate enough to bring them laptops.
They were new products from Benjamin's tech company, brand new, still in their unopened packaging.
Matthew and Alaric were both curious about how well these computers worked.
They'd heard of this tech company, which had grown rapidly in just two years and developed some impressive products.
The computer booted up quickly, had a clean desktop, and fast internet speed.
They quickly downloaded office software, logged into their accounts, and started working.
Then they discovered that the computer came with built-in office tools that were convenient and simple to use.
Alaric asked curiously, "I've never seen this software before. It's really convenient for handling files, and you can even do video conferences."
This computer had many features that other software didn't have - it was like a treasure chest.
Both he and Matthew agreed that if this software was widely promoted, it would definitely improve work efficiency.
Benjamin explained with a smile, "This is software our company specially developed. We're currently in the trial promotion stage."
Actually, the new computer came in two versions - one was a regular version for studying and working.
The other version was a gaming computer that could greatly improve efficiency and solve many problems that existed in other computers on the market.
These two computers hadn't been officially launched yet. There would be a new product launch in ten days.
Alaric and Matthew both sighed inwardly, "Our company's equipment needs an upgrade. When this computer launches, remember to save some stock for us."
"Sure, for Sophia's sake, I'll give you a discount."
Alaric's lips twitched, "I'm your own brother, and I still need to go through Sophia?"
"In our family, Sophia makes the decisions. My connections don't work - I can only go through hers."
Alaric rubbed his forehead helplessly, gaining a deeper understanding of his brother's level of devotion to his wife.
"So what discount can you give?" Matthew also asked.
Benjamin was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "Considering you have a decent relationship with Sophia, I'll give you 10% off."
Matthew and Alaric were even more speechless. "So our relationship with Sophia is only worth 10% off?"
Benjamin: "If you were asking me directly, I could only give you 1% off. Be grateful. You didn't even give us wedding gifts when we got married. Consider this your wedding gift to me - I still have to support Sophia."
The two were amused by how he couldn't go three sentences without mentioning Sophia, and agreed helplessly, "...Fine, something is better than nothing."
They'd originally wanted to get a good deal from Benjamin, but ended up getting no benefits at all.
Was there anyone in the world better at calculating than Benjamin?
After confirming the computer purchase, Benjamin stopped talking.
Alaric and Matthew also got back to work.
About two hours later, Sophia finally woke up from her nap.
When she opened her eyes, her mind was blank. She felt like she'd forgotten something important.
After sitting in bed for about half a minute, she remembered.
She was supposed to give Benjamin hypnotherapy treatment today.
Before falling asleep, she vaguely remembered seeing Alaric and Matthew arrive?
Sophia quickly got out of bed, put on her slippers, and rushed out.
Sure enough, she saw Alaric and Matthew in the living room.
She couldn't help but cover her face, feeling very regretful. "Alaric, Matthew, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting."
Seeing her come down, Alaric, Matthew, and Benjamin all looked at her.
Alaric and Matthew smiled, "It's fine, just working in a different environment."
Sophia felt a bit embarrassed. "I'll go prepare. I'll start treating Benjamin right away."
"No rush, take your time."
Benjamin leaned back on the sofa, smiling to reassure her.
Sophia quickly freshened up, then began preparing the tools she needed.
Clifton had said that each hypnosis session with Benjamin took a lot of time.
Because his guard was too strong, breaking through his psychological defenses wasn't easy.
So she had to be fully prepared.
After getting everything ready, she immediately called Benjamin into the room.
When Benjamin came in, he found Sophia looking at him with a tense expression.
He walked over and hugged her, comforting her, "Don't be nervous, just do what you've learned."
But Sophia was worried, "What if I fail?"
By failure, she didn't mean failing to hypnotize him, but making a mistake during the process.
Psychological hypnosis was difficult work because it required intense concentration to control and guide someone's thoughts.

She'd thought that after successfully hypnotizing Amelia yesterday, she'd feel more confident.
But the opposite was true. Now her hands and feet were cold, and her heart was full of fear.

Benjamin sensed her emotions and held her hands tightly with his large palms.
"Sophia, it's okay. Go ahead and do it boldly. If you don't do it, I won't get better, so I'm putting myself in your hands."
Sophia looked up and met Benjamin's deep eyes, as if she'd been filled with courage.
She nodded firmly, "Okay."
Benjamin's lips curved slightly as he reached out to ruffle her soft hair. "Good girl."
The treatment process was much simpler than Sophia had expected.
Perhaps because Benjamin had never been guarded against her from the start, the process went smoothly.
When Clifton had done hypnotherapy before, it took a lot of time, but Sophia only needed ten minutes.
Using what she'd learned, she guided Benjamin step by step to recall the past.

As Sophia's soothing voice continued in his ear, Benjamin gradually adjusted.
After some time, he slowly opened his eyes and met a pair of clear, bright eyes.
"Honey, are you okay?"
Benjamin's eyes moved, and he wrapped his arm around her slender, soft waist, pulling Sophia into his embrace.
Sophia wasn't prepared and was pulled over by a strong force.
Her body fell forward uncontrollably, landing on Benjamin.
