Chapter 131 After Waiting So Long

Chapter 131 After Waiting So Long
She gasped, but only for a moment. The kiss was too deep, too intense to resist. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her close, like he wanted to fuse them together.

His hand slid up the fabric of her dress, fingers warm against her skin, leaving trails of heat.

She held her breath, heart pounding, gripping his shoulders.

"Elliot..." His name was barely a whisper.

He looked at her, dark eyes full of passion and tenderness all at once.

"What?" His voice was rough, teasing, before his lips found her jaw again.

She swallowed, fingers pressing against his hand, trying to slow him down. "We can't..."

He pulled back slightly, almost frustrated. "Why?"

She bit her lip. "I'm... pregnant."

He went still. For a moment, he didn't move. Then he exhaled, resting his head on her shoulder.

"I've been waiting so long, baby." His voice was almost a whine. "This isn't fair."

She laughed softly, stroking his hair. "You're the one who said I needed to rest. So you have to be patient too."

He sighed, lifting his head. He looked almost childlike, pouting. "But I really want you."

She bit her lip. Truthfully, she wanted him too.

Since the doctor had confirmed she was pregnan, Elliot had been careful ever. Too careful. They hadn't been together in weeks.

She knew he was just looking out for her. But it didn't stop her own want from growing.

He looked at her deeply. "So?" His voice was quiet, hopeful.

She swallowed, cheeks pink.

"The doctor said..." Her voice was barely a whisper. "Once you're in the second trimester, it should be fine. As long as we're careful."

His eyes darkened. "Are you giving me permission?"

She turned away, embarrassed. "I'm just saying... it should be fine."

He pulled her face back toward him, expression shifting—hungry, victorious.

"Baby..." His voice was thick, rough. "You don't know how much that means to me."

She gasped as he lifted her easily, setting her on the counter. Before she could say anything, he was kissing her again—long, deep, full of long-suppressed want.

His hand traced her thigh, gentle but insistent. She bit her lip to stay quiet.

"I won't hurt you," he whispered. "But I can't stop, baby."

She couldn't answer. His fingers had already found her, and she was lost.

He smiled at her reaction, leaning closer. "You're already so wet, baby."

She was burning now, more than before, especially when he slowly knelt between her open thighs. His gaze held hers—deep, wanting.

She didn't have time to think before pleasure crashed over her, her head falling back, mouth open in a silent gasp. Her fingers twisted in his hair, pulling him closer.

He didn't rush. He knew exactly how to undo her. Every touch, every tease, made her sink deeper into the sensation he was creating.

Her grip tightened. Her body trembled. Her breath scattered.

"Ah... El-Elliot..." Her voice broke into a soft moan.

He looked up at her—steady, commanding. His lips curved into a tempting smile. "Let go, baby."

Then he pressed deeper, fingers moving with precision, his tongue working in rhythm that made her shake.

She bit her lip, gripping his shoulders, breath coming in short gasps. His name escaped her like a prayer.

When he pressed one last time, her body went rigid—then melted into a release that shook through every nerve.

He watched her, satisfied, stroking her cheek.

Then, unhurried, he guided himself closer, moving slowly, carefully.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him close.

He kissed her forehead, groaning low as they finally joined. He'd been waiting so long for this.

"Slow," she whispered, still weak.

He kissed her softly. "Of course, baby. I won't hurt you."

He moved slowly, each thrust careful, measured, making sure she was comfortable.

She bit her lip, eyes glistening, watching him. Her fingers gripped his shoulders, her body moving with his rhythm.

"Elliot..." His name was a breath, her own breath catching in the heat between them.

He kissed her forehead. "I'm here, baby. I'll always be here."

She closed her eyes, letting herself feel.

The small space filled with the sound of their breathing, the quiet catch of her breath, the soft clink of her jewelry.

He pressed his forehead to her shoulder, body trembling as he held back. "Baby, you're so amazing..."

She could only feel him—closer now, their rhythm still gentle but intense.

Until finally, a soft cry escaped her as she arched into one final wave.

He followed moments later, breathing hard, pressing deeper before melting into her.

They stayed like that for a while, wrapped in each other.

He kissed the corner of her mouth, tender.

"We should go before someone comes looking," she murmured, still weak.

He chuckled, pulling her closer. "Let them wait. I'm enjoying this moment with you."

She smiled, leaning against his chest. "Just don't let them catch us."

He grinned. "What if we do it again later? Somewhere more comfortable?"

She hit his chest weakly. He laughed, satisfied.

Back in the ballroom, Rebecca scanned the room, tapping her clutch nervously.

"Where are your son and daughter-in-law?" she asked Kent, who was leaning back in his chair, looking entirely too relaxed.

He sipped his drink slowly, a knowing smile on his face. "Do you think I need to go find them?"

Rebecca glared at him. "This event is important. They shouldn't just disappear!"

Kent set his glass down calmly. "They're newlyweds, Rebecca. Give them some time."

She blinked, then her expression shifted. "Oh. Don't tell me they're..."

Kent chuckled, shrugging. "I didn't say anything."

Rebecca sighed, covering her face with one hand. "Look at your son."

But somewhere deep, she couldn't help but smile. For the first time, maybe ever, Elliot was truly happy.

Before she could scold further, Elliot and Audrey appeared from a side door, settling into chairs beside them.

Audrey's cheeks were flushed. Elliot looked like a man who'd just won something.

Rebecca crossed her arms, sharp eyes fixed on her son. "Where have you two been?"

Audrey ducked her head. Elliot just looked calm.

"Just getting some air," he said smoothly.

Kent chuckled. Rebecca still looked suspicious.

"You," she said, voice lower but no less sharp, "your wife is pregnant. Don't do whatever you want, wherever you want."

Audrey choked on her drink, face going red.

But Elliot stayed calm. "We just got some air."

Rebecca squinted. "You think I'm stupid?"

Kent laughed outright. "Let them be, honey. They're married. It's legal."

Elliot smirked. "See, Mom? Married and legal. Nothing to worry about."

Audrey elbowed him hard. "Elliot!"

He held back a laugh. Rebecca sighed, trying not to smile.

"If you make my daughter-in-law tired or uncomfortable, I'll deal with you myself," she warned.
Elliot held up his hands in mock surrender. "I'm being careful, Mom. Very careful."
Rebecca's eyes narrowed. "That's what I'm afraid of."

Audrey looked at Elliot, then at his family gathered around them.

Rebecca was fierce. Kent was warm. Laura and Finn were somewhere in the crowd, probably causing trouble. And beside her, Elliot was watching her like she was the only person in the room.

She wasn't afraid anymore. She wasn't hiding.

She was exactly where she was supposed to be.
