Chapter 37

Jaime looked around for Kylie before calling her name "Kylie, Kylie where are you?"

Olivia also started looking around and started calling Kylie's name Within few minutes, a simple search for Kylie had turned into a serious one "She was standing right here the other time" Bianca said worriedly as all of them including Seth's bodyguards were searching everywhere for Kylie "Kylie baby," Olivia called "Where are you?"

"Kylie!" Seth's wife called.

After searching for her for another five minutes, Jaime called everyone together and said, "Let's do it this way. Let's split up. It will make finding her easier. Rose, Olivia, and me. Bianca, mom, and one bodyguard, and dad and two bodyguards."

Jaime divided them into three different groups, and they all walked away into three different directions while calling Kylie's name.

Olivia was already sobbing as she, Jaime and Rose were desperately looking for Kylie.

"Don't worry, we're going to find her" Jaime reassured even though he was also weeping inside.

"My little daughter," Olivia sobbed.

"We will find her" Rose also reassured her.

"I hope so" Olivia said Few minutes later, Olivia's phone vibrated, and she hurriedly brought out her phone with the thought that it was Kylie.

She unlocked her phone and saw a message with Kylie's picture.

"If you love your Kylie, you should come alone. A car will be waiting for you outside the gate. I give you three minutes"

Kylie was tied to a chair in the picture that was sent to her with a long, thin knife placed on her left thigh. It was obvious in the picture that was sent to Olivia that Kylie was unconscious due to the fact that her head was down in an unusual way "My baby" Olivia whimpered as tears rolled down from her eyes "What is it" Rose asked as she stood next to Olivia.

Olivia instantly looked up when she heard her mother's voice and looked at where Jaime was standing.

Thankfully, he was at the other side, calling Kylie's name "Mom look" Olivia said to Rose and passed her phone to her. Rose covered her mouth shockingly and looked at Kylie "What are you going to do?" She asked "I don't know"

"Let's tell Jaime" Rose suggested "No" Olivia said abruptly "The message said I should come alone. I'm going alone. My daughter's life is on the line"

"Jaime might have a better option"

Olivia shocked her head vigorously and looked at her mother straight in the eyes "I can't risk my daughter's life. Don't tell anybody. Kylie's life is on the line"

"Olivia…"

"Mom…please"

Rose looked at Olivia worriedly before nodding her head and said "Okay but promise me that you're going to be okay"

Without saying anything, Olivia left her mother and started walking away "Olivia" Jaime called when he spotted her "Olivia" he called again and ran to where Rose was standing "Where is she going?"

Rose couldn't look Jaime straight in the eyes and had no idea what to say. When Jaime realized that Rose wasn't ready to say anything to him, he walked past Rose with the thought of running after Olivia, but Rose stopped him and said "Don't"

Jaime looked at her confusedly and said "Don't? What do you mean 'don’t'?"

"Don't go after her" Rose said with tears in her "It's for the best"

"I can't find my daughter and now my fiancée is running away, and you're telling me that it's for the best"

"Please" Rose begged with tears in her eyes "Without a good reason, I'm going after her" Jaime said and started walking away determinedly Rose thought about the few days that she had spent with Kylie and wept harder as she saw Jaime walking away determinedly. She wasn't ready to lose her daughter and granddaughter so, she said "It's for her sake"

Jaime stopped when he heard this and turned around "By going after her, you will be putting both their lives at risk" Rose added "What are you saying?" Jaime asked as he matched angrily to where Rose was standing ***

Olivia saw the car exactly where the text message said that it was going to be and walked toward it confidently. Few steps away from the car, the car back door opened, and Olivia went in.

A lady was sitting on the driver's seat and a man was sitting on the back seat beside Olivia "Long time no see" the man and the lady chorused once Olivia was seated and Olivia looked from the man to the woman.

Her mouth dropped opened when she saw the two people that were inside the car and shockingly said "You?"

"Yeah, us," the lady replied. "Where is your phone?"

"I don't have it with me" Olivia lied. Her phone was the only device that Jaime could use to find both of them, and she wasn't ready to lose it.

"We know you have your phone. Give it to me now," the lady said while the man brought out his gun and pointed it at her.

"Now," the man commanded.

"Please, don't be like this," Olivia begged.

"Now," the man said with the gun pointed at her forehead and Olivia had no other option than to bring out her phone and give it to him.

She brought out her phone and gave it to the man and the man opened the car door and threw the phone out. After doing this, he brought out his phone and dialed Laura’s number.

"We're coming with her," he said into his phone while Olivia was wondering who he was talking to.

"You made a very big mistake coming out here alone," the lady said.

"Who are you taking me to?" Olivia asked out of curiosity.

"You will soon find out" the lady replied and laughed evilly.

The man brought out a handkerchief and forcefully placed it on Olivia's nose. Olivia tried to defend herself, but she was no match for the man's strength and within a few seconds, she was unconscious.

"Have you found her?" Bianca asked Jaime and Rose as she, Seth and his wife, and the three bodyguards joined the two of them.

"No," Jaime answered her, "Your mom should be able to explain better because my fiancée is gone too."

"What!?" they all chorused and looked around them for Olivia.

"Where is my sister?" Bianca asked commandingly.

"She…" Rose sobbed.

"She what!?" Bianca asked and moved closer to where her mother was.

"I swear I told her not to go. I swear. I told her that we could find another way to save Kylie."

"Save Kylie?" All of them except Jaime questioned.

"Where is my fiancée and daughter?" Jaime asked.
